Im having problems with my braid to mono double uni catching on my rod eyes. Its 30 lb mono to 20 braid on a 7ft 6in st croix medium heavy inshore rod. Any tips to stop this from happening?

I loved this video! Catching any tarpon from the bank of a small creek like that is just insane, especially on lite tackle. It would probably still be a challenge with 40lb test, but seeing this really makes me want to try it!

What a dream spot I'd love to fish there but you should definitely use 20lb braid it won't effect your casting distance because your only casting 30feet or less it seems.

Any tips on finding snook in the Tampa area

Fish weaver park. In the late spring and summer. You can sight cast snook there. Right now there are a lot of trout and red fish getting caught there when weather is good. Live shrimp work best for trout and red. I use vudu shrimp to site cast snook

Also ballast point park is also a great option to fish in the night time for snook. 2 weeks ago someone caught a 36 incher
