Dock fishing is the best 👌 pins, grunts, croakers, mullet. Nice fishing bro. Day one nice rod and reel combo. I have something similar. Same purpose. Light weight, yet a meat stick.

Totally agree the 37” fish was estimated to be 17-18lb and the smaller ones 10-15 obviously not the small first fish

Why do you grab the Snook around the gills? Not good for the Snook.

It’s perfectly fine to grab them by the gills... what is not okay to do with snook is hold them vertically by the lip

they’re not holding them by the gills if you look closely there holding it by the inner gill plate , which is next to the gills but it doesn’t harm them in any way , unless u don’t support the weight. And it gives u a very good grip on the so they don’t fall n hurt themselves
