Great that you're catching multiple species on the same lure! And kudos for picking up line. It infuriates me when people leave line and garbage around.
AWESOME VIDEO!!!! Wish I knew where this was! I will be looking for places like this when I come down to FL from Cleveland OH in April. Keep the videos coming!
Great video. This was my first time watching one of yours. You’re a good angler and you handle that bait caster well in such a confined space… I’d of knitted you a sweater in there trying to cast that thing. I also respect your dedication to being a good steward of the environment and the healthy release of the fish you’re catching. It’s nice to see someone with real respect and an understanding for the environment they are recreating in. I subbed. Keep up the good work!
Dope bro! Just found your channel for the first time. I film fishing stuff on the nature coast and primarily throw artificials. Let me know if you wanna get on the boat and collab sometime. Always refreshing to see other good dudes in the UA-cam scene that care about the fish 🤙🏽
Thanks! The best lures for snook in shallower water are small 3 inch swim sits on a light jig head such as 1/4 oz , or a small shrimp lure. In deeper water you can use heavier jigheads and bigger baits.
Pinch down the barb and you get better penetration on Tarpon plus easier to release fish. I point the rod trip straight at my lure to get a better hookup. I subscribe because this is a good channel. They say you lose 3 out of 4 Tarpon.
@kunaiwithchain5278 yeah and normally they aren’t built to handle saltwater use over long periods of time, but as long as you take care and rinse your gear with freshwater is should be ok
@@BryceMarchetto check out the shimano tranx they are good saltwater baitcasters we use them here on the west coast the 200 and 300 sizes would be good for inshore
@@BryceMarchetto Check out a product called ReelX oil and grease for reels. It’s made from a company called Corrosion X and I use it in all my baitcasters living in Florida. It prevents the salt from getting into the bearings and I use the grease for the gear and pinion and put a light coat of grease on the internal components and have had no issues with using casting reels in saltwater the stuff is amazing. Still rinse the reels with fresh water after use but it will prevent any corrosion issues
@@BryceMarchetto thanks man! I recently bought my first baitcaster. A daiwa tatula. Currently running ~100 of 40#. Was trying to see If It was worth taking when fishing back country canals for larger snooks
Hey man, just wanted to let you know that this is my friends property and it’s private so you can’t be sneaking in here if you wanna come fish sometime reach out to me and I’ll get you set

Niceee. What part of Fl
Wow i never knew that you could use a dc reel in saltwater
As long as you rinse it off after 👍🏻

Glad you picked up that line man. People are SO disrespectful.
I've had 3 400 lexas and my 300 lexa isn't anywhere near as good as the 400, must have different guts.
Is that a Mike Acconeli power series rod ? If so would you consider selling it ? I would be interested in buying it off you.
I probably won’t sell it but they sell them for cheap on American tackle 👍🏻
