PLASTIC
SCIENTIFIC STUDY - INDEPENDENT:
The claim of "BPA Free" is according to the manufacturer, NOT according to several INDEPENDENT (as in not paid or influenced by the manufacturer) scientists.
There are several studies (US and European) that show that "BPA-Free" Tritan plastic (which is in Vitamix, Blendtec, Ninja....) leaches BPA and other toxic chemicals.

Nice video and good choice of materials.
I saw on another video the bowl is welded to the machine so that it cannot be removed, so that the freezing coils can be directly mounted to the other side of the bowl. Removable bowls often have an extra layer plus air layer, which increases time needed to cool, which increases ice crystals (less creamy).
Vitamix Ascension 3500 and the stainless steel 48oz container addition... I believe the blade inside is stainless only as well.
Kitchenaid 7qt. Proline has stainless attachment additions and you can get 3qt bowl whip combi for small whips. Motor is HP not Watts - quieter.
Cheers!
That unit is essentially a churn for semi-freezing the ice cream mix. The right way is vat to heat mix up to around 160 then through a homogenizer at 3500 lbs per square inch followed by a pasteurizer that heats the mix to 180 then chilled before going into the holding vat for churning. With these units you have to buy ready mix that only needs churning. Pity there was a small manufacturing unit. I would make my own mix. One that would be very low in carbs and no sugar.
Great video!
Awesome video! Thanks for the great advice of how to make homemade diary-free, preservative free ice cream :)
Still using your ice cream maker ?! I just got this same one
I was looking for a such ice-cream maker, but the prices for this one start at $700. Can you give us a link to the store you bought yours?
Ice cream very cold 🤣👌
How do you clean the bowl??
+RawVeganLiving I wipe with a damp sponge or towel.
I'd really like to know where you are from.
Because of your accent I thought maybe austria or poland?
Limlrumerl - I am Russian, I have a very strong Russian accent.
Interesting Review but the lid and spoon are plastic
Your batch has too big volume, upper part of mixture creates some kind of hat and freezing process is not well done. Fill it max under upper beater hand. Enjoy Musso.
Lena, since you asked about other machines, a stainless steel bowl comes standard with the Whynter ICM-201SB model. And while the Whynter ICM-200LS model comes standard with an aluminum bowl, you can buy a stainless steel bowl for it from Whynter's authorized dealer, Ambient at ambientstores dot com. Both of these models come standard with a BPA-free dasher. p.s. I have no relationship with Whynter.
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, BPA-free does not mean that it is truly BPA -free since manufacturers can say whatever they want, but scientific studies show different results.
EcoPeaceful is correct. From everything I have read, Musso is the only home ice cream maker with ALL STAINLESS STEEL parts. Whynter, although a great ice cream maker, does NOT have a stainless steel dasher. EcoPeaceful was very clear, she wanted no plastic, no teflon etc. coming in contact with her food, inclusive of her blender. (I have had three ice cream makers, including a low end Lello; I'd love to have her machine too, it looks incredible.)
Female Borat?
I was thinking of purchasing such a unit until came to this review...this lady is kinda scarry. She sounds pissed.
