yeah they're so cool
But a relationship is built upon 2 inputs, therefore if you had the "different" or "this👆" relationship with your father you say you wish you had would mean you wouldn't be you. Aren't you happy with you?
Up side is, you can change half of that relationship maybe even the whole thing if it is not too late.
Purchased ours a couple weeks ago. I have used it twice. A tip for people watching:Cuisinart provides you recipes in the instruction manual. The easiest is a no egg no cook vanilla. Obviously you add your mix ins to that but it's super easy. On a different note the mixing piece does not lock into the cover. It sits loose and when the bowl begins to turn the cover has stop on it that keeps the mixer still as the bowl turns. So easy to clean as well with only 3 pieces
@A H yeah that was back then. I've used it maybe 20 times now. Still works 👍 great
@@jaycarneygiants Hi I just got mine and I was wondering if I could.put the bowl in a deep freezer vs regular freezer for shorter time? Thank you😊
@@thesnoozebutton2568 100%! as long as it's frozen solid, otherwise it may not freeze your cream
@@jaycarneygiants Awesome. I didnt know if the deep freezer would mess it up or not. Thank you 😊

You can make 2 batches in one day if you are quick. After you make the 1st batch quickly scrape out the bowl and wipe it down with a paper towel (do not wash under water as it will heat up the bowl too much). If you were quick with your batch 1 clean up and get the bowl back in the freezer you will easily be able to make another batch in a couple hours.
How do you scrape out the frozen ice cream on the sides and the bottom? It is so hard
Ice cream maker: How to get even fatter in quarantine! 😀
I'm in.
😂😂😂😂
Don't forget: They feed bulk GRAINS to cattle, to fatten them up for market. Fat in your diet is NOT what causes obesity. The extreme volumes of carbohydrates in the western diet is what is causing obesity.
😂Laughing in fun - this was so true during quarantine!!
I just purchased it today, you convinced me to buy an extra bowl. Thank you so much for sharing your results, it all looks delicious!
Usually with ice cream makers You're actually supposed to put the machine together and turn it on BEFORE you pour in the mixture or you could break your dasher. The liquid freezes pretty quick and it could get stuck
Booooo
I've had this machine for a few years now and I can vouch for it. I was a bit worried about the long term motor life since it doesn't sound super happy once the ice cream starts to firm up. But I'm happy to report it still works great. Plus you can't beat the basic vanilla recipe as a starting point for some fun recipes.
😂 It’s so loud!! It’s the lid. Turn it on, remove the lid, it’s quiet. Put the lid back, and it’s noisy. I want to figure out a way to lessen the noise. 🤔
This was a fun video. I was thinking about getting one, so I started looking up reviews on here. I found your and now I think I'm going to get it for sure. Thanks!
That was cute. I like every time she summoned her taste-tester. This looks like a good-sized ice cream machine.
When she said her dad would be her taster, I was really hoping his name was Ben instead of Rick. Then I realized her last name is Cohn rather than Cohen. Talk about potential for a real ice cream expert!
Enjoyed the review.Well presented and produced.
Always chill the base before you churn.
You get soft serve , so once done transfer to a container and freeze for several hours if u want to scoop.
Thanks for showing how to use it and the different recipes you tried. Good thing you showed what happened if you underfreeze the bowl. I can see my husband trying waste time and ingredients trying to make 2 batches in one day. ;-) Loved the magic jump trick!
Loved your motivation and your dad’s great tasting spirit !!! Yummmm
You guys are a joy to watch. You are amazing. Dad is amazing. Waiting for my Cuisinart to arrive. Gonna do sugar free since I’m sugar free 👍🏽
My husband purchased ours today and we get it Monday. Can’t wait to make ice cream with our kids.
Beautiful! It was also very nice to see your dad appearing on the video. I am just amazed to watch how you could make your own ice cream at home. Regards from Peru, South America.
This was very informative and extremely helpful. Love the step by step instructions.
@@John, turn in on before pouring in your ice cream. I recommend reading the instructions-they take only a couple of minutes.
Ok but nobody is gonna talk about how big the house is from the bits we’ve seen?
Yea insider jobs must pay a lot
I was thinking the same thing. What is that? A mansion?
Might be her parents house I'm thinking
That's because only spoilt rich girls get non-jobs like this one.
Bruh it’s not even that big
Mine is arriving today!!!! I'm sooo excited to have a machine that doesn't need ice OMG!!! Off to make some treats!!!
I have the ice 100 model and I can say coming from a freeze bowl machine. Being able to do 3 batches in one night instead of once a day is so good
This advertisement though ...
Just bought one, new looking from goodwill outlet for $2.19. Excited to use it.
Have you tried it yet?
@@asiantrailmixx yes I did, last week. Ice cream turned out really good!
Might be worth picking up a spare drum for the maker to have in the freezer for double batch days. Thanks for the demos, I've some stuff to buy.

I have one and I don't understand why people like it. The blade is pretty far away from the edge of the bowl so the ice crystals are quite large, making the ice cream fairly grainy. No matter what type of ice cream base you're using and how well you make it, if your ice cream is grainy it tastes like the cheapest generic stuff in the supermarket. I even went to forums to ask about that problem and nobody knew what I was talking about. To this day I don't know if it was some sort of defect in my machine, if I'm not using it properly, if my standards for ice cream are too high, or if everyone who rates this well can't tell the difference between grainy and smooth ice cream...either way the machine sits in my cabinet collecting dust.
Hmm..
(IMO) if what you mean abouth grainy is on that like oreo bits are very small i Guess you try
Using half the amount of oreos on the start and when almost or nearly finished pour the remaining oreos
To get the ice cream at least be a bit more filled with chunky oreos
I don’t really Understand the Situation very well and i hope this helps.🤷🏻♂️
@@stravander3948 See...this is exactly my point. I'm talking about the texture of the ice cream itself, not its mix ins. Do most people not notice that cheap ice cream is grainy (large ice crystals) and expensive ice cream is smooth (small ice crystals)? When talked about this on the forum it seems like half the people didn't know what I was talking about and the other half thought I should use a gelato or frozen custard base instead of an ice cream base. I already had and the results were more or less the same.
I don’t get the ice crystals that give it that grainy feel.
@@yogtheterrible you are supposed to freeze the ice cream for another 6 hours after you make it. the machine only takes it to "wendy's frosty" texture. it gets to real creamy ice cream texture after you freeze that.
Did you have the paddles spinning before you poured in the base? It's possible the base started to freeze before it got a chance to churn properly
I love everything about it..and it was worth it. You both are so lovely 😊
Great vid 🙏🏽
‘Course, if you are an ice cream fanatic, you could get extra units to freeze and make ALL the ice cream you wanted!!!!! 🤗
I looked into that! Replacement feeezer bowls for this machine were over half the cost of the whole machine. 😂 worth it.

I was gonna make this cool icecream joke..
But I *froze!*
Shutup
@@indahpratiwi4308 that's cold 😔
@@Passionforfoodrecipes Don't care about nonsense comment. Be your seft. Your joke is funny to me😘😁
I've got one of these, to be completely honest, it needs 48h in the freezer and is only good for 1 batch.
yeah... this may have more to do with your freezer. The recommendation in the manual is to make sure your freezer is set to 0° F
Galanz deep freeze.

they pronounce it “queasy-nart”?🤔
i always thought it was pronounced “cuisine-art”
Cuisine is pronounced queasine tho
Never thought about it but Cuisine-art makes sense...I've always pronounced it qui-sin-art? But queasy-nart Does have a slightly unsettling stomach churning ring to it. LOL!! ; )
SAME
There is no "e" in cuisinart.
TV shows back in the day would say it as they do.
Very good video!
Just made ice cream for the first time in my 60 years of life and OH MY GOODNESS! So much better than store bought. My next batch will be chocolate. Wish me luck!🍨🍦💪
I don't know why because it's a ivecream maker review video but I really enjoyed this video.
We are about to start using a new ice cream maker so thanks for the ideas. Do you guys have any other videas?
You’re doing a great job, and I love your dad‘s shirts..
Great video! I am going to try to make the gelato!❤
Just bought one! Thank you for your review! - and Dad thank you too! And who are the clowns who gave this video a thumbs down???? Clearly they need to eat more ice cream to be happy!
I have that exact same book. I just need the icecream maker now 🤣
What about the cleaning of the parts/machine? Simple and dishwasher safe? Thank you!
This will be the reason I buy! Thank you! The dad was the funniest 😂
Thank you 🎀
i love it so much and I purchased second freezer bowl.
great idea.
I would be concerned about longevity. The blade is plastic being used in a cold environment.
Presumably that's a cheap replacement
The break very easily. Also, it's terribly loud.
It’s not a blade, it’s just a churner. It doesn’t need to be made with anything different
@@djosephine I think the technical term is dasher. That's what I've seen and called in Old cookbooks.
Plastic blade is so it dosn't scratch the bowl, the coating on the inside is important to the freezing process
How do you scrape out the frozen ice cream on the sides and the bottom? Do you have to wait until it melts?
I have an ice cream bowl attachment for my KitchenAid stand mixer. I don't see much difference. I thought this would make the bowl cold, but I still have to put it in the freezer! Is there any ice cream machine that does not require freezing the bowl, like just plug it in & press start?
I'm glad I watched this. Now I know I need 2 freezer bowls lol
Love watching you on here
Lol I just got it and didn’t realise you had to freeze your bowl. So I guess I better go do that
Does anyone have a problem with the cream freezing to the inside of the bowl? Do you feel this has an impact on the churning/chilling? On average, how long do you run the machine to get a thick consistency???
It's about time a nice icecream maker for home owner
I'm surprised this thing is still being sold. Ours is around 6 years old already
We get see some cool parents coz of this work from home
Lol gramerzs
hi there! i really want to buy that machine so where can i get the recipes for ice cream, gelato, sorbet, etc?
please answer my question, thank you!
I just got mine and when I turned it on the motor made a sort of sandy gritty sound. Did that happen to you?
Nice family and you done great x
The eggs make it so much creamier. My favorite thing to make in mine is a honey Gelato, it's amazing 😊
one thumbs up for the ice cream maker and two thumbs up for the host , nice job .
Gotta love your dad's bright shirts!!
I have very little freezer space food in it too would this work?
Woww.. I would love to have this machine at my home😍😋
We should ice cream mukbang together then!
I hope people realize it’s not the machine that makes good ice cream, it’s the recipe
Please elaborate. How can i make ice cream today?
LOL
Looking delicious
Don't you have to heat the egg/cream mixture first to not use raw egg?
Very nice posting. My daughter gave me one when she moved, but no one can find the instruction manuel.
How do you remove the icecream that is frozen rock solid onto the inside of the bowl? I can only get maybe 50% of the icecream out, the rest is frozen onto the bowl. Only a knife works and that scratches up the bowl
Very entertaining!
I bought this ice cream machine 2 months ago and I actually have used it pretty often, you can make very delicious and good textured ice cream. I would recommend cooling down your mixture till it's really cold, maybe even pouring jt over into another pan to cool it down completely before pouring it into the ice machine
What do mean ?
You’d expect it to have a freezing system incorporated :/
K. KFlana Could you give the model name please?
You need a compressor and those machines cost over $200.
Not for that price. If you want a compressor, then you have to think at least double the price, starting from $200. Thats why this machines are quite cheap. This one is probably the best for pre-freeze bowl machines, but there are some cheaper, even on the same brand. One with compressor is better yes, it doesnt take space from your freezer, always has the right cold, you can re-use it all day and gives better texture overall. But its expensier, and only really worth if you are going to make many ice creams or you get tired of fighting with the bowl and that sometimes is not cold enough, like I did
They make one with a compressor. It cost $300 vs $99
here for the awesome dad...and the ice cream!!
Can you buy one of those pieces that you need to put in the freezer so you have an extra one so there’s always one in the freezer while you’re using the other one?
Yes!
I like the big cup that u have. I want to buy that cup. So give some more information about the cup
What do you use for a video editor?
Very nice video
It's just a standard icecream maker, in germany you can buy them for ~30€. They are not very useful because they block your freezer with a huge bowl.
You dad kinda looks like sam the cooking guy but with more hair, great vid thank you!!
I wanna buy one for sure i gotta wait till i move in my apartment
how tall is that bowl cos my refrigerator is french style door and not sure it fits there
please share ingredients in desc - great vid!
This looks really good! Of course I'm not talking about your dad's shirt
one of the major differences between ice cream and gelato is milkfat %. Most gelato is made with milk 4% and no cream. True gelato does not exceed 20% air incorporated.. many times 15% is seen afaik.
Look at thrift stores for used ones. I got one that was like new for $3 at a local thrift store.
Lucky! My eyes are peeled!
Make sure you turn it on before adding ingredients. I poured ingredients in before putting paddle in and adding the top. The paddle froze to the sides and I had to abandon the operation and let it defrost. I was barely able to pry the paddle out. I froze it for 5 days before using it so I think it was too cold as well.
There's also the ICE-20C model which is cheaper and less noisy.
Looks like a cookie n creme ice cream to me ☺️🍦🍦🍨🍧 looks good 😋😋.
Nice, I dream of genie reference 😂
I love ice cream more than I love life
You use heavy cream for the ice cream?
I didn’t ask or search for this video, but I’m not complaining
Hahaha.
NEED to know where you got the red dress lol
Instead of Oreo, I started using Whole Foods Oreos, they’re a lot less sugary than Oreos. Three quarters of the tray, I remove the cream and leave the wafers. Coconut ice cream with Oreos are amazing combo.

Thumbs up cuz your Dad's shirt is awesome.
I like your Dad! He's fun!
I wonder if you can purchase multiple bowls.
What is your base for the ice cream?
Your dad is cool and good job on the ice cream 👍
I was surprised by the noise, is that normal?
You should always have the machine assembled and running before you pour your ice cream base into it because it will begin to freeze on contact. You need to have that paddle moving to ensure slow ice crystal formation.
Also of note. The difference between ice cream and gelato is texture which is created by different churning methods. So if you have the same paddle for both ice cream and gelato, you're not making gelato. You're making ice cream out of a gelato recipe.
The difference between American Ice Cream and Italian ice cream/Gelato is not the paddle.let’s the amount/percentage of butter fat..Ice cream by US law must contain minimum of 10% fat. Most are made with 15 to over 20%. Gelato is made with minimum do 3’ish %..up to 5 or so… The more butter fat the most air is incorporated into the mix…with less ft you have less air…that’s by gelato is denser than American ice cream… Flavors are more intense with gelato than American ice cream because the higher fat the more is sticks to your tongue..blocking flavor more than gelato..
Not true.
@@wineitfoods very interesting, but I will always prefer the texture of ice cream over gelato. Gelato seems "gummy" to me...if that makes sense
