    Those look like food saver bags there, I might try one of those for my first test and for sealing, the food saver machine can seal that open end up real well. But I like your idea of the sealant and tape too.

      I've never had a leak from the bag ends. It usually will leak a bit around the fitting. I used plumbers putty. :)

    Do you by any chance have the plans for the stabilizer and rudder as I only seen the wings and wing templates in the google directory you supplied, which by the way I want to thank you for providing that to us. You da man..

      Hi. I just used the image of the Devient in the build folder and scaled it up. It has dimensions.

    Excellent, nice work! You inspire me to build again. A motorized glider with composite wings and tails would be a good combo for small flying area.

      well my friend, we both know how to make them light. Just the motor and added battery weight would be a factor.
      Thanks for the kind words 😎✌️

      thanks my friend. Good to be back.
      Yes, been playing with pigments, and I may have found a good solution.
      Tinting the resin I think is the way to go.
      Cheers! :)

    Really great work! Love it. A little acetone will take the graphics right off that arrow shaft. :-)

    Good morning. What did the dollar store sell that you repurposed into mylars?

    • @amonus-air2160
      @amonus-air2160  Місяць тому

      hi. They were sold as binder/report covers. I wish I had bought more cause I haven't seen them since. lol.
      There nice due to the thickness ( .5mm for tail group) and as all mylars I use for vacuum bagging , I'll use the thickest I can get away with. ( .8mm for the wings)
      Thanks for the question.

      Hi. I use a Extruded Polystyrene Rigid Insulation, aka XPS. The stuff I use can be found at HomeDepot under Owens Corning FOAMULAR NGX CodeBord XPS Rigid Foam Insulation Board; 1-1/2-inch x 24-inch x 96-inch R-7.5 SL Edge.
