The end song was super cute :) When I was younger and didn't care about money I use to dream about staying in grand places. Now that I'm older I know that my money is better spent on experiences and not luxury.
Remember the FOUR RULES to happy expatism here dude. DO NOT violate these rules. You have been warmed. 1) Never get married legally here! 2) Never open or invest in any business. 3) Never buy property, its not yours anyway. And 4) "The four hour rule", aka "Next island" rule. Always live at least four hours, or at least next island away, from her family. That being said, Puerto is the only city in the country that ranks up along with Dumaguete. If it only had a Valencia 20 minutes above it. Enjoy!
I agree with Jim W. They are taking you for a ride on the apartment price. My best advice to you would be hide yourself and let your gf go check out apartments and find one, come to an agreed upon price, then you just show up. Surprise! If they suspect an expat might be involved, all of the sudden your 8,000 pesos apartment triples in price. I do wish you luck. 😊
First thing that came to mind was---you are both heaven sent for each other. What will be will be. If you know in your heart and gut what you yearn for---go for it-- not the dictates of others. Only you will know what you want. Although weird---to each-- his own. Dubai is very rich (in oil, materials?)-----Philippines is rich in natural resources-- mainly-- THE GOOD PEOPLE!
Enjoyed, Here is a suggestion: "How to set up a gas stove", I don't know how, even as I had one in Malaysia 2 years, it was set up when I moved in and I never changed it. (Ok I did not cook much) - I have to buy a gas bottle? Why should I give a nice new bottle up when I refill, I will get a crappy old one back - What type of tube clamps? - Do you have electronic ignition on your stove? - How to a get a good seal on the bottle? - Should I get one of those pressure gauge add-ons?
I certainly enjoyed this video looking forward to many more. I was in Puerto Princesa in February this year and plan to return when my wife and I once again visit the Philippines.
I might just do that, last time we stayed at the Aziza Paradiso hotel. We were thinking next trip maybe we would stay at El Nido but maybe a couple of days in Puerto Princesa first because we loved it there. It will probably not be until next year. This November we are touring the North Island of New Zealand. My wife is from Cebu and we try to visit every couple of years. We live in Melbourne Australia.
Cool, they actually just started a "double decker" bus service between Puerto Princesa to El Nido. Looks very nice and will make the trip that much easier between the 2 locations. I hear that New Zealand is very beautiful.
so happy for you man, you've already found peace and happiness, even in a simple life in p.i ... good luck to you,to your girl & the little one ... peace !!!
Thanks so much , I just subscribed to your channel... Looking forward to checking out your vids. I see that you previously lived in Utah, I am sure that was a big move for your family.
Thanks for subscribing. Yes it was a big move. We built our home there on the Island and now we are back in America for a little while to get some money saved up to move there permanently. I will look forward to your videos as well. Thanks for watching.
I just came across to your channel. I'm inlove with your lifestyle guys. I wish I could find an apartment like that in somewhere else . I just wanna settle next to the beach and Palawan is a great idea. I just clicked the bell to keep posted. Thank you for sharing . Happy new year to your family 👍
Very nice apartment bro..I wish you luck w/ur family to have good life in Philippines..I'm Christopher from Seattle,Washington.take care and good luck for everything in ur future..
I would suggest a generator that uses LG (liquefied gas) and I think it can be delivered to you. I was in Palawan on Sep. of this year (2018). I liked it. Stayed at Citadel Bed & Breakfast for $21USD/night. Must book online to get that price. Bargained & hired a tricycle motorcycle driver for the whole day. Avoid the underground river tour because sometimes the wait is about an hour or more to do the tour. I would like to retire there someday. Some suggest Iloilo City in Iloilo.
How would you recommend the best way of finding a place to live there? Stay at a hotel for a few days then walk around to look at For Rent signs, contact real estate agents, etc.? Thanks.
Cool video. Is it 19k furnished? I retired recently and I'm moving to Cebu. Enjoy your story about leaving corporate life and moving to Phil. Is cheap transportation available? Taxis, tricycles etc. Well done!
Thanks Terry, yes it came furnished for that amount. Congrats on your retirement, I am sure you will enjoy the Philippines! O yes, transportation is very cheap here in Puerto Princesa. I can take a tricylce into town (10 miles or so) for around $.50 one way. Also, it's very cheap to buy a scooter or small car here. Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any specific questions.
i have a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt too but i only pay 4000 a month, it's in the country but has modern conveniences like aircon, internet and cable, sometimes i have the other room rented to bring in revenue, have a motorbike too, 100 pesos for gas every 3 days, the beach is 10 minutes away on the motorbike.
Good job, I don't understand why some people show their place and don't include cost.. I'm coming in Oct with the thought of making it home. How is the internet in Palowan..
Thank you. The internet is not the best. I get about 5 mbps (LTE speed) in my area, but there are some places in Puerto Princesa with DSL connections which can get a little bit better speeds. It's tolerable for now but I came in with the mindset it will be slower that I am accustomed to.
Thanks for the video and I look forward to watching many more. My girl is coming to the states via a K1 visa. Hopefully we will move back to the Philippines in 5 to 9 years. She is from Davao but is will to go anywhere. We plan to have kids. I was hopping to find a place for $200 a month.
Thanks for the subscribe Michael. I hear Bohol is beautiful as well. I plan to visit there this year sometime. I went to Cebu last year but didn't get a chance to make it to Bohol.
Just subscribe . Good luck and enjoy , I know it's more fun in the Philippines. Live simple , appreciate the people your around with and your a happy camper.
Hello Jeffrey, unfortunately it does not and it is not cheap. We have the 2 bedrooms which are air conditioned and our electricity bill was around 4300 pesos last month.
im a new subscriber and has been reading some comments here and other uploads...what can i say...i don't understand the hate..for all you all know a lot of those bad comments actually came from fellow pinoys who are just ignorant or just plain envious...really bad...just continue with what you are doing..you are doing a good job...btw im a pinoy based in Dubai..
I'm really enjoying your vids, and am happy to give a hearty "thumbs-up" but the musical intros interludes, and outros are really stomping on the rest of your audio. I have to keep running over and backing it off until you go back to your narrating. Do you get the same thing on playback when you watch? Thanks. Peace, Russ~*
Thanks Jack, I am having a lot of fun doing it. Hmmm, I'll look into the audio as I am sure that is annoying for you. I'll see if I can clean it up in future vids.
you know what i like the most : the video is Asome your family is Super but to take that Change one Shoot .. ohhh man you are took the risk but you have a point here Quaility of life .. we live only once. Best Wishes 😊
Good luck to you. I may of missed another video. But how did u end up in the Philippines? You obviously are a younger guy, did you just save up, and try and get something going over there for income? Or do you have income coming back in from your home country?
Good to see another You Tuber setting up a channel and sharing their experiences. Not sure if it was on this video or another when you said you would setup a business in the Philippines, I would recommend you take it slow with minimal investment, many a foreigner has tried that and some have succeeded however not as many as should have. I will be moving to Cebu/Bantayan Island in early 2017 and hope to do likewise (succeeding in a new business :-) but I know it is risky and I will really do a LOT of research (including taking my time and negative thinking - what could go wrong and what are the repercussions of failure) and very lightweight (small investment) testing of the market for my venture(s) with incremental investment as it produces desirable results (profit). I wish both of you the very best in the Philippines!
I have pretty much the same plan, I am going to take a few months to understand culture and market better and then start very small and make very small moves. Thanks again for all of the good advice. BTW, just subscribed to your channel.
Hello, actually it does... we have two wall units (1 in each bedroom). However we do not have one in the living room/kitcen. I would hate to think what my bill would be if I did, he he.
we are renting a 2 room up and down apartment with 2 bathrooms in metro manila for 8000 pesos only. I would suggest that you should find another apartment that one is not worth it 19thousand apartment here is like 4 bedrooms already.
I was thinking the same thing . It's over priced from what I have seen. Thing is unfortunately a forienger is best to stay out of the picture when priceing things . Even our paper work for the car registration . My wife's sis in law said for me not to follow .if they saw me the price goes up .
analiza bello where in manila? my last name is also bello and my father is from zamboanga. and yeah where in manila cause im spending 45k a mth in eastwood city
Cute kid...I have question..after leaving Dubai did you ever consider coming back to the states and just start a business here instead of the Philippines with all there restrictive laws for foreigners?..
Thanks Joseph, I did consider it but my heart is here in the Philippines now and really want to make a life here.. so didn't have much of a choice in the end.
Hello Joel, Sure ...will do. There is not much to choose from if you are looking for free weights and such. The gym I currently go to in the Sunrise Hotel is probably the best I have seen at this point. But will def do a vid on the topic soon.
Your so lucky 🍀 to meet a pilipina cause she is a working hard woman some pilipina that kind of career she is like a princess but I her she is wonderful girl mostly business women is hard working and humble 👏👏👏👍👍👍🇵🇭
Yes, Palawan is more expensive than the Philippine average I'd say. We lived in Digos Davao Del Sur 2 bedroom 1bath 2 air con (why in the bedrooms and not the living room i'll never know?) 7000 Pesos.
Ha Chad, looks like the trolls found you. No worries, oil always floats to the surface and the dense stuff sinks to the bottom! Looks like you are settled finally. I sent you an email earlier. Keep the vids coming!
I totally agree on the last comment! Your monthly rent for an apartment is way too expensive and I find that crazy. Remember, you're staying in the province where the the cost of living is low and the apartments there should be a lot cheaper, too.
(Cenomar Cenomar) .....William here from the Canadian province of Ontario. Enjoying your wonderful story as well as others that i follow. Having said that I have been fact finding as much information as i can especially legally speaking. I would like to see you have your lovely companion provide a Cenomar certification from the Government (if she was married at any time this will be proof of her status ie: divorced). It is most serious because its jail for you if someone wants to tell the authorities. Some friends i follow cannot stress this importance enough. Then you can put it away and have the wonderful life together that the three of you deserve to have. I look forward to your vidoes as a window into what is possible. Take care
how old is her sister living with you? does she share some of the bills? thats some of the culture in the philippines relatives moving in for free but if she got no job and help you guys like cooking and laundry and chores in the house thats good.
She actually moved to her own apartment last week. However, she does have a job and was helping out a lot when she was living with us. So it's currently just Ave, her daughter, and myself.
I like the style of video's you produce. What are you shooting with? It looks like you could use a Rode external mic (with a dead cat muff) to help with the sound. Best of luck with the sister living there. LOL LOL. I went through that exact situation in a place twice the size of your current place. That didn't end so well. I ended up kicking her out because she wanted to lay on the couch all day and do nothing when I was out of town because she was the older sister. Plus after 6 months or so I just wanted 24/7 privacy and got annoyed with always having someone there. Keep those videos coming. Ingat
Thanks J.C. I actually have 2 cameras (GoPro Hero 4 and a Nikon DSLR). Would love to have a Rode mic as those are awesome but I need to save up for it first. I have an external mic but it's not the best. I am lucky in the sister department, he he, she is great. Has a job and she really helps out around the house with cooking and cleaning. So far no complaints from me. But like I said, I think I got lucky :)
INTELIGENT AMERICAN ...YOU DONT NEED TO GO TO THE GYM ...YOU NEED TO HAVE MONEY TO SUPPORT YOUR FILIPINO GIRLFRIEND AND HER FAMILY...THATS ALL THAT MATTERS IN FILIPINO CULTURE.... LOLOL
Suits and Shorts, I'm happy that you are very happy in my beloved country . Instant family. Be a good Dada now. Hope nothing breaks your heart. Be very careful with your money. Maybe you should check on investments groups. They seems to have a good return. I just want everybody to be safe and secure in my homeland. God bless us all and always.
Did you say, "₱19,000 per month"? WOW, are you living in the rich neighborhood? Must be a huge place, I was looking at a 100 square meter 3 bedroom apartment with 2 baths for ₱12,000 per month in Santol Road, Bgy. San Jose, Puerto Princesa City. How much is the month cost for sending a child to school there?
Nad, you are absolutely correct. The Philippines is not the retirement paradise everyone says it is anymore. Being in the US, I would rather find a place in Central or South America. Its a lot closer if i want to travel back to the US. But we all know why some go to there.
how do you stay after 30 days . I am a American that want live in the Philippines but the law is i can only stay 30 day passport and a return home ticket.
no you actually can stay longer than 30 days you just have to extend your Visa. when you arrive you get a 30 day free visa after that u need to just extend it which of course will cost money. not sure where you can extend it. I stayed 30 days last year in manila.
It seems too expensive. Reading from the comments, I sort of understand why some people get rude about you having a single mom gf but it doesn't mean its necessary. We didn't know her situation before you plus the kid didn't do anything, she's an innocent child who needs a male role model in her life and you seem like it. It's your choice, your family and your doing a great job. #stophating #godblessyourfam
People also need to know that palawan is a lot mor expensive then most other providences. In kalibo you can get something like that for 150$ a month. Probably even bigger. Hey wait you were in Dubai cool we lived there from 2012 to 2016. We know. My husband was working 12 to 16 hrs a day and we made 10k a month and still didn't survive. 6 of us but still. We are trying to permanently move to the Philippines also. Palawan is beautiful. Haven't been there yet been to Boracay Bohol ..and Cebu. And Manila
No way, obviously you were guessing. Condos rental in Metro Manila and in a prime location like Makati, Ortigas, The Fort and Eastwood were far too high.
Think you can do much better for 19k a month. That is on the very high end to be honest. If you go out of town by San Manuel rent is much easier on the pocket book. My small 30sqm 1 bedroom is 6k a month. But there are so many places to rent in Palawan. Is it true chez rose closed down?
I just read thru some of the comments below my original comment and WOW it can get harsh and very real on You Tube. I am not sure how much you know about the Philippines and the culture and laws so I will hit some high spots for you and if you already know this just skim over it. First advice - Just take all things in stride, always be careful in your plans and be aware that Filipino culture is not like yours but it has many good points and some not so good points just like our culture. 2. Use your good judgment as to what you are willing to do regarding following or deviating from the local culture. When I am in the Philippines I just sort it out as I go and I am not afraid to take a opposite route from the local culture if it is in my/our (I'm married) interest, example loaning money or providing support to anyone other than my wife. 3. I have to be honest at this point I do love the Filipino culture and their friendly attitude however they really do believe that we foreigners have an unlimited supply of money that is theirs for the asking so be aware of that. 4. Filipinos cannot get divorced so if they are married it is for life. There are exceptions if they marry a foreigner however that requires a lawyer to provide the details and the expense of that. 5. Some foreigners meet a lovely lady and get down the road in a relationship to later find out they are married. Anyone can get a NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) certification of non marriage for their girlfriend if they ask. This is a real legal document from the government that you can trust. 6. Just so you know foreigners cannot own property in the Philippines with the exception of a condo. 7. If married your wife can own property with you listed in the owners section as "Her_Name" Married to "Your_Name". Your property rights are extremely limited. My wife and I do own property so this I know first hand. 8. When setting up a business there may be rules where you may be able to hold a minority share with a Filipino (your wife preferably) owning the majority share if legally done properly. Let me know if you have any questions and if I can I will give you my best advice, I have have lived there previously for a year and 1/2 and done years of research since I first got married about 6 years ago because of our plans to retire in the Philippines. I probably cannot answer all your questions and some answers may fall on the side of opinion of what I have seen or experienced but do not know for certain. Always get a 2nd or 3rd opinion ;-). I can see that you are a great person and with proper knowledge (I'm not saying my information will get you there) you can be successful and as important - HAPPY in the Philippines
Thanks so much. This was extremely helpful advice, some I knew and some of it was new to me. I will definitely be very cautious on my new life her in the Philippines and keep one eye open. I agree with you too, there are also many good things about the culture here and sounds like the good outweighs the bad. :)
I know this is an older video but some observations; the people whose comments I've read aren't (for the most part) worth reading. Their profanity laden words are worth nothing. Another thing is I find your videos well worth the time to watch. I see so many trolls on you tube it makes me wonder whether they even went to school. Keep up the good work with the informational video work.
Great video. New subscriber here. How did you meet your girlfriend? I watched all your vidseo but could not find any detail about it, simply that you met her while traveling in the Philppines.
19k per month so expencive for this apartment,,,its more better u buy it.well,im a filipina but i live in Taiwan,,the reason i try to watch your video is to learn more about puerto princesa ,since im planing to try to start a new small busines.
Yes, we agree and actually moved to a new house this week that rents at 12,000 pesos. You can check out here ...ua-cam.com/video/GLR-7ORHEiQ/v-deo.html&lc=z13icpug3wascnvmb22kd5mhvnyutxb4404 Also, please let me know if you have any specific questions on Puerto Princesa that I can help with (suitstoshorts@gmail.com)
Can't even imagine P19K for something that small with 4 people living inside ~ packed in like a sardine can esp if friends or family is invited over...Didn't see the bedrooms but they gotta be tiny too...No Thanks...It's not even worth half what the landlord is charging you and one would imagine you could use the additional 8K to 10K in your pocket every month that the landlord is ripping off of you...Get out of that place ASAP is my advice to you...Looks like you have a nice gf/family but does she have a job/earnings...?...Does her sister have a job...?...Are they helping you offset some of your expenses or just dragging you down...?...Many an expat in the Phil have a Golden Rule...NEVER date a single mother as you do not know her back ground...Could be married as there is no divorce there which spells (could spell) big trouble in many ways ~ Could be more kids that you don't know about (it happens)...Not worth it, besides you're supporting someone else's kid (a dead beat dad that ran out ~ Why would she be involved with a dead beat ~ Says something about ones character)...
I enjoyed watching your video. I know Philippines can be so cheap, but you have a full life ahead of you and it seems like you're living in expensive apartment. You may have made money before, and choose to move in a cheap country but took a HUGE responsibility (girlfriend, kid, and sister)? Sounds like they are taking advantage of you. A handsome expat in PI will always find the best fish in the sea full of Dori (beautiful and perfect fish)...LOL
taking advantage? ha! you're the one to talk Mrs. Dubrovnik. let them live their lives, a nice girl is difficult to find. He's very lucky to have her if you ask me. So get off your moral high horse and spare them the condescencion. ~a not so friendly reminder from an irked Filipina~😤
angel_dust, show us your picture. You probably have difficulty finding "nice girl" because of your attitude - reflects who you are. There are millions of nice girls especially in Philippines. People who thinks that her situation is not taking advantage probably because they one of them. Sucker/leeches are far worst than condescending.
The end song was super cute :) When I was younger and didn't care about money I use to dream about staying in grand places. Now that I'm older I know that my money is better spent on experiences and not luxury.

I was expecting it's a two-storey apartment for that price. i think it's quite expensive. For Ph standard, it should be a big house already.

Thank you, yes I love being able to get fresh fruits and veggies... hopefully will help me get in shape too, ha ha
Oh Gosh I am now completely in love with Ave's daughter!!! :))) What a miracle of nature, you are surrounded by charm )))
I certainly enjoyed this video looking forward to many more. I was in Puerto Princesa in February this year and plan to return when my wife and I once again visit the Philippines.
Thanks very much Ron, if you come back through to Puerto Princesa please message me and maybe we can meet up.

Well done sir, congrats! Very envious......working on relocating to the Phils myself, just returned from Cebu and Dumaguete.
Thanks Derek, hope you find yourself over here very soon.

Very nice apartment bro..I wish you luck w/ur family to have good life in Philippines..I'm Christopher from Seattle,Washington.take care and good luck for everything in ur future..
Boy, that electricity bill is a killer! i do advice you get a generator as electricity is not that stable in Palawan.
Hello Dodi, yes, was a little more than I expected during the first month. We have had a few brownouts while I have been here.
I would suggest a generator that uses LG (liquefied gas) and I think it can be delivered to you. I was in Palawan on Sep. of this year (2018). I liked it. I pay $160 for electricity in one bedroom in the states..😂..give me that bill..lol..
I missed this one earlier so I'm going back to catch up, thanks for the info on your apartment and the pricing, wow Nicole is a cutie.
Yes, she keeps us smiling everyday :)
I'm Filipino but never been. How's the WiFi.
How would you recommend the best way of finding a place to live there? Stay at a hotel for a few days then walk around to look at For Rent signs, contact real estate agents, etc.? Thanks.
Walk around and ask around....

How are you now, settled already? I see from other vlogs that Cebu is very cheap, cheaper than Palawan.
Hi nice little place! What small business you thinking about? I'm from the uk. Married to a filippina with a 5year old boy.
have you replaced that camera that focusing made me motion sick.
Great video, new sub here. I hope to move to the Philippines in a couple of years ... Thanks for sharing
Thank you very much. Do you have a specific place in the Philippines you are considering?
Suits to Shorts I believe I would be interested in living in the western Visayas. Good luck my friend ...
i have a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt too but i only pay 4000 a month, it's in the country but has modern conveniences like aircon, internet and cable, sometimes i have the other room rented to bring in revenue, have a motorbike too, 100 pesos for gas every 3 days, the beach is 10 minutes away on the motorbike.

Wow abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables
very nice video !helping me to go there !

Nice video, I just subscribed. I move here after retirement from the Army 3 months ago in April. Currently in Bohol but where you are looks amazing
Thanks for the subscribe Michael. I hear Bohol is beautiful as well. I plan to visit there this year sometime. I went to Cebu last year but didn't get a chance to make it to Bohol.
My wife is from culion, Palawan. I’ve spent a lot of time in PP and coron. If I had 5k USD a month, tax free, I think I’d be fine, right?
You're not benching properly. That's not even half a rep. Lol
And it shows.
Yes the bar is not even touching his chest.
Great post, looking forward to more best of luck.
Thank you for the infos on phil. More please.
Sure :)
Nice 2 bedroom apartment. Public market is the best place to buy. It's a lot cheaper than the Mall supermarket.
Most of these problems can be avoided by just common sense. Choose people carefully and talk to highly educated people only.
Just subscribe . Good luck and enjoy , I know it's more fun in the Philippines. Live simple , appreciate the people your around with and your a happy camper.
one of the best dude i ever met in my crossfit class
Does the electric bill include aircon?
Hello Jeffrey, unfortunately it does not and it is not cheap. We have the 2 bedrooms which are air conditioned and our electricity bill was around 4300 pesos last month.
Thanks for sharing your life
I have really enjoyed the process so far, just hope I can start to bring useful information for everyone. thanks :)
im a new subscriber and has been reading some comments here and other uploads...what can i say...i don't understand the hate..for all you all know a lot of those bad comments actually came from fellow pinoys who are just ignorant or just plain envious...really bad...just continue with what you are doing..you are doing a good job...btw im a pinoy based in Dubai..
I'll see if I can clean it up in future vids.
you know what i like the most :
the video is Asome
your family is Super
but to take that Change one Shoot .. ohhh man you are took the risk but you have a point here Quaility of life .. we live only once.
Best Wishes 😊
Thank you so much, it hasn't been easy but I do not regret it.
Good Luck :)
Amazing Hope i see you In October me and my Pinay wife We Will be There :)
Hope We Can Met :)
Good luck to you. I may of missed another video. But how did u end up in the Philippines? You obviously are a younger guy, did you just save up, and try and get something going over there for income? Or do you have income coming back in from your home country?
never mind. found the video:)
What’s up with your camera’s focus?
Is it very easy to live in the Philippines and find a decent job there? I am kind of considering to live in the Philippines some days.
I'm assuming the cost of electricity does not include running an airconditioner?
Hello, actually it does... we have two wall units (1 in each bedroom). However we do not have one in the living room/kitcen. I would hate to think what my bill would be if I did, he he.
we are renting a 2 room up and down apartment with 2 bathrooms in metro manila for 8000 pesos only. I would suggest that you should find another apartment that one is not worth it 19thousand apartment here is like 4 bedrooms already.
Thanks Analiza, we actually did last week :) We found a 2 bd house for 12,000 with a lot more room. We are very happy with it so far.
Suits to Shorts Palawan is a tourist attraction that is maybe the reason why the apartment is so high right now.
Analiza we are going as a family to Manila for the first time. Where is the apartment you are talking about?
Hello
I was wondering can you do some videos on the gyms over there and what they are like
Thanks
Hello Joel, Sure ...will do. There is not much to choose from if you are looking for free weights and such. The gym I currently go to in the Sunrise Hotel is probably the best I have seen at this point. But will def do a vid on the topic soon.
Sugg: investing property (country of cash) do it in the bank to close the deal.
Thanks Jo, yes I keep hearing that... I definitely need to be cautious.
Rent still cheaper if you compare to US here we rented 2bed in AZ for 850$.
Your so lucky 🍀 to meet a pilipina cause she is a working hard woman some pilipina that kind of career she is like a princess but I her she is wonderful girl mostly business women is hard working and humble 👏👏👏👍👍👍🇵🇭
i pay less than $80 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt so it boils down to location.
I must be something right then :) ... I'll check my email now. Thanks again.
:D
Sorry everyone, I had to repost this video from earlier today. People were having issues playing it. Should be fixed now.
volume brother its too low
Sorry, I'll crank it up for the next video. :)
I think the American men they are crazy why would you go to Philippines and leave behind your beautiful life in America and live in very dirty country
I live in Canada is very beautiful country and peaceful country i have a beautiful house here so Canada is not a dirty country.
Berta BCorkery yeah really? But your ass is still really dirty yuck!
I totally agree on the last comment! Your monthly rent for an apartment is way too expensive and I find that crazy.
Remember, you're staying in the province where the the cost of living is low and the apartments there should be a lot cheaper, too.
How much is land if I want to build my own house.
can I get more info. on the music? DIGGIN!
Can't recall which song this is, but I get most of my music from soundcloud
LOLOL
Zenlife TV maybe that's how your culture is
Zen,it's the SAME in ANY country,..FUCKWIT!!
not true at all times but your thoughts make you expose your background.
Hi..im new subscribers here from korea 🇰🇷 Philippines
Suits and Shorts, I'm happy that you are very happy in my beloved country . Instant family. Be a good Dada now. Hope nothing breaks your heart. Be very careful with your money. Maybe you should check on investments groups. They seems to have a good return. I just want everybody to be safe and secure in my homeland. God bless us all and always.
How you doing. love your videos very informative
Thank you very much.
Are you still in the Philippines?
Did you say, "₱19,000 per month"? WOW, are you living in the rich neighborhood? Must be a huge place, I was looking at a 100 square meter 3 bedroom apartment with 2 baths for ₱12,000 per month in Santol Road, Bgy. San Jose, Puerto Princesa City.
How much is the month cost for sending a child to school there?
Yeah, it's not that cheap. Her school is 22,000 per year. Hope this helps.
thanks
new subscriber here, love your videos and you seem so comfortable in front of the camera.
Thanks Paul :) It took me some time but I feel a little more comfortable than when I first started. he he
Nad, you are absolutely correct.
Sarah Shulga someone eles told me expats can stay up to 3 years but then after that they have to leave the country
eric soles that's not too bad! I would love to live there for that time.
Sarah Shulga but it look like all the UA-cam videos i see the expats are married to Philippines women maybe they can say if they are married
eric soles they might be able to stay. my boyfriend is from the Philippines so maybe I have a chace lol
HELLO MATE
AM MYSELF MOVING TO MANILA WHEN I RETIRE ----ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE WOULD BE GREAT
JIMMY
Sure Jimmy, hopefully my vids are some help but please feel free to PM with any questions. Happy to help.
whats the best way to transfer money I.E.my works pension . would bank to bank be best HSBC I SEE HAVE BANKS IN manila metro
Neat apartment bro! I bet your pretty laid back & chill there? I kinda miss "Filipino Time!" 😄 Enjoy your stay there 👍
It seems too expensive.
And Manila
That's the price of an apartment in a prime location in Metro Manila
No way, obviously you were guessing. Condos rental in Metro Manila and in a prime location like Makati, Ortigas, The Fort and Eastwood were far too high.
+E Tan you are referring to condos which are much more expensive, especially in five star locations. I refer to apartment houses in residential areas
Think you can do much better for 19k a month. That is on the very high end to be honest. If you go out of town by San Manuel rent is much easier on the pocket book. My small 30sqm 1 bedroom is 6k a month. But there are so many places to rent in Palawan. Is it true chez rose closed down?
Hello to you! So you recommend San Manuel as the cheapest in Palawan?
That was still cheap compare to Metro Manila. A condo unit with 2 bedrooms costs $500 plus in a not so posh area..
500php is cheap for an apartment
+Chris Smith (The Matrix) $500*
E Tan he does not live in Manila.
does anyone know address on bureau of immigration in manila please
Thank you very much for the kind words :)
AJ ? I did mention trolls.
To wordnmusic: According to my book, you were raised correctly by your parents. :)
Live the dream but be careful with your finance. Don't let the negative comment affect your dream of living in Palawan and making a good life.
Many Thanks Rome, I am being cautiously optimistic at the point.
Great Videos - Subscribed!
You're a straight-shooter, so i'll ask: How Much for a FIlipina (per month)?
19,000 pesos for that appartment? very expensive brother,.,
is this in Palawan?
What's the one thing that you miss about America that you can't get in the Philippines?
Great video. New subscriber here. How did you meet your girlfriend? I watched all your vidseo but could not find any detail about it, simply that you met her while traveling in the Philppines.
Hello Mikhail, thanks for subscribing. It's funny you asked that because we are actually posting a video about how meet later today. :)
You can check out here ...ua-cam.com/video/GLR-7ORHEiQ/v-deo.html&lc=z13icpug3wascnvmb22kd5mhvnyutxb4404
Also, please let me know if you have any specific questions on Puerto Princesa that I can help with (suitstoshorts@gmail.com)
Im from Manila. Your Apartment is only 10k in Manila....19k is very expensive...Manila is very expensive compare to Puerto Prinsesa....omg...
My husband said its cheap 😹
i think palawan is a expansive place to live other places houses are why more cheaper
Done that before. Not doing that anymore. I dont want to be the clean up guy for someone s mistake. No thank you.
i lived ther for 3 years
I enjoyed watching your video.
Thank you Mel :)
taking advantage? ha!
you're the one to talk Mrs. Dubrovnik.
let them live their lives, a nice girl is difficult to find.
+Mel Dubrovnik when it comes to leeching, you know it better than I do.
angel_dust leeches have no brain -lack of intelligence therefore they wouldn't know they're leeching
