Wow! I'm 79 and really impressed you were so brave. That's an enormous change. I have thought of doing something similar but worry about being so far from my brother and health-care.
Health care is a big obstacle, especially if you have a "condition." Fortunately at this moment I don't. But being away from your brother or me from my son and grandchildren is a challenge, for sure. 🥰
Do your homework. Create a budget. And whatever country you choose try inserting the word “ex pat” into facebook search engine. Then you’ll have a better idea of the country. For example Bali has dozens of facebook groups
This is brilliant, thank you! I'm 65 years of age and looking to do the same thing with my wife Julie. We are planning to use tourist visas to move around South East Asian. Time in Bali, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia etc (3 months at a time). Stories like your are inspirational. Thank you! 🙏
I'm so happy for the both of you! What you've both done is not easy. Takes a lot of courage, and sense of adventure. I moved to the Philippines 5 years ago, and then last year my mom came out to visit for 30 days. She was supposed to come out again this year but before she could do that she suddenly felt unwell and passed away. She was healthy but as you get older you become more and more fragile. Anyway, thanks to both of you for posting this nice video...
I'm so sorry about your Mom. My heart breaks for you. Yes, mom is getting more fragile, but that's why I'm close by. In Palm Springs, she was by herself.
Just watched a couple of your videos and one with your Mom telling her story which my son sent me. I appreciated how open and candid both you gals are. I’m just starting to look at the idea off a life style change and the option of permanently living in Bali. Thank you for your videos 😄🌈🙏👏

I think you did the right thing . Our friend at 82 lives there , also near his daughter . I like your chats , but would suggest just rambling on without having the typed breaks . If your daughter is filming and wants to remind you what to talk about , she can join in and prompt you . We loved the one prompt which is what made me think of it .
Wow congratulations mam!! Praying that God keep you health live in peace and harmony and enjoying the time you have left every day is a gift from God I am happy for you !! Give me inspiration how to be brave and walk with faith , something that we don’t see it !

Loved to hear your experiences living in Bali. Also how honest you are when you talk about your money situation. Wishing you well.
Couldn't be more honest. She was in debt. Nothing in the bank. Now she has a savings account because she is living below her means.
I love this. Thanks for sharing your mum's story and encouraging others! So many people feel restricted by age i.e. "I'm too old to do such and such". You're never too old!
So true!
Thanks for posting I appreciate the honesty and info I am 76 have been thinking about Bali
Such an inspiring interview! Your Mama has been so brave and I’m very happy for you both. I live in Timor Leste, which has less infrastructure than Bali, but totally relate to her comments about adapting and learning the new skill of living in a different environment and culture. All the best to you both ❤❤
Lucky to have your daughter so close to you. I am in Canada and will be leaving this country in 6 years when I’m 65 for affordable living.
Your amazing. Woo Hoo
Thanks I appreciate your Woo Hoo!🥰

That’s great news. It makes it all the better that your daughter is there. Stay happy and healthy and enjoy your life.
Awesome story! Thanks for sharing.
The kitchen looks lovely. Modern with lots of room
That's fantastic good for you enjoy and stay active.
So glad to hear your story I’m so thinking about moving out of this country at 72 years old
Do your homework. Create a budget. And whatever country you choose try inserting the word “ex pat” into facebook search engine. Then you’ll have a better idea of the country. For example Bali has dozens of facebook groups
Me as well.
All it takes is making up your mind to do the first thing -- start making piles of keep or donate...😇
This is a wonderful video. I am so happy that they have each other.
I admire your strength and positivity god bless your Bali Adventure
An excellent overview, thank you for your honesty and warmth
Thank you for sharing your story.

I love your story, im 61living in British Columbia Canada, and worry about the same things...❤
Thank you! 🙏
Amazing! Congrats to you and Julie ;)
Ms. Linda you are wonderful. I love the idea that at 79 you are starting a new journey,.
Thanks for sharing I’ll keep Bali on my list
Very inspiring, especially the message at the end of the video.
Am Indonesian and wish you a peaceful life in Bali, the island of the gods.
I’m so very much inspired by your experience and your sense of adventure!! I hope you will keep posting so I can tag along on your journey. ❤
Love your story Mary!!! And love that you are happy, stress free, debt free and with your daughter. And living the life!!!
I thinking Bali now ❤️
Come for a visit and see for yourself 🎶❤️
@ awe, thank you. I’m thinking about it for sure❣️
Your mom is fortunate also to have a daughter I'm Bali. That is a huge factor. Nothing like somehow a family nearby.
beautiful ...sent this to my 80 yr old mom♥
I hope she enjoys it. I just love the moms of the world!
It is the most beautifull video I have seen. I just love your mother for been strong to make that change in her life at her age.❤
Thank you for saying. You are so kind. :)
Yessssssssss live your best life🎉🌎 I’m so proud of you
Thank you for sharing. It is so encouraging for older people to live their best lives. You are amazing for your age. Suksma. X
Great video. Love when she cracks up laughing. Thank you good info and entertaining.
Good for you!!! Enjoy your health and happiness.
You are welcome and all it takes is making up your mind to start purging -- one pile to keep and the other to donate or sell. That's the very, very, very first step!
Very lucky womam. Healthy and beautiful. Very, very Blessed ❤
Great suggestion. Thanks for the feedback :)
You look amazing!
Thanks for sharing!
Sending you loads and loads of prayers and love ❤️. Stay safe and blessed
Excellent choice! 👌 It really can be done!
I am so happy for you! Keep living the good life
It’s so unfair to get old and go through this- crazy - great it worked out
Yep, know of some people who are natives there. One day, I am moving there. Can't Wait!!
Wow congratulations mam!! Praying that God keep you health live in peace and harmony and enjoying the time you have left every day is a gift from God
I am happy for you !! Give me inspiration how to be brave and walk with faith , something that we don’t see it !
Your inspiration continues. I'm ready to leave USA and seek a better a life. Your videos are inspiring!
Welcome to Indonesia. Happy things working out for you
Your mom's a natural!
I am Coming back in January to Bali. Also from California..
