Looks great! Would love to see what the cabinet looks like installed with microwave installed. Do you have a picture? I would like my Over the range microwave cabinet to bump out but we don't have a vent to the outside so I'm not sure if we can use a deeper cabinet like this if the microwave vents out the top. Do you know of a solution for an over the range microwave that vents out the top if you want that nice built in look like you made here?
Hello @Woodworkingwithwes, I’m currently in the process of planning to build a microwave upper cabinet for our condo. Just out of curiosity, after you put the cabinet back on, didn’t that cause your lower half of the microwave upper where the microwave is installed to stand off the wall approximately 1/4” or 3/8” (the width of your cabinet back). How would you recommend avoiding this stand off from the back being installed so that the side panels for the microwave fit flush against the wall?
Great work! Thanks for sharing your craftsmanship!
Thank you for your kind words...I appreciate you visiting.
Thanks for the input. I sure needed your guidance and instructions. Muchly appreciated
