on n it's actually 5years × 4 months(remember it's quarterly) + 1month (which is the extra month the company paid as they said the company paid immediately ) which gives us 21 fam. 😊

You use the future value annuity for retirements. So when they give you the value of the retirement and ask you to calculate the months, its just a matter of substituting and do the math gymnastics, vice verse with when you are given the monthly payments. Don't panic panic through it, just read the question as many times as you need to.
