He’s as rich as any man can get. Having a special place on earth to call home that you’ve known all your life with friends and family who genuinely love each other. It gets no better.
I love Alabama. They are without a doubt THE best country music band ever. Randy is from the Old America that I love and I am sad that it has gone away. He is Genuine, Sincere, Real, Honest, True, Good, Loyal and A True Southern Patriotic American. We love you Randy. Thank you for sharing your God given talent for writing and singing songs. You have enhanced this world and given to us beauty in your songs. Thanks again and God bless you and your family.
Randy Owen has a kind heart. You can see it when he talks of family and home his emotions come to the surface. Now I know why I’ve always loved Alabama’s music. Tried a true to his roots.
@@lindaroper2654 Mam, the walk of a Christian is more than how you think they should speak. None are worthy of God's gift, but I have seen how Mr Owen treats people and gives of his life to the less fortunate. I wish you the best, but I'm glad that you are not the gate keeper to heaven.
I am 52 years old saw them in concert. I drove up to his drive way and saw his house. I feel a deep connection with this group. What a legend. Would have loved to have have met this man and shook his hand. Alabama has been a part of my life since I was a kid. Love you Randy !

I love that all 3 of them are just grounded and normal everyday people. Randy using an old jubilee to cultivate the land instead of a 100k tractor. They are just wonderful people making sweet mountain music. Their music is amazing and timeless! They have a song for every mood that you are in. I love you ALABAMA!
Beautiful Farm I understand exactly what he talked about. Born and raised "Country"... Lived and traveled around the country but have settled right back where it all started. In the deep woods of Georgia.
Went to many a Alabama concert in my younger days in the South ..... Never once went home feeling like I didn't get my money's worth .... Talented bunch of guys that put everything into the show.... Good Ole country boys that never forgot where they came from .....
This is true. The last time I went to see them was just a couple years ago.. David Allen Coe and Alabama. Drove all the way to Indiana. And it’s impressive how Randy has kept that beautiful voice of his. A lot of singers aren’t so lucky. But those tickets were worth every penny!!
I know the feeling he gets on that land. I have a 40 acre farm that my parents bought in 1951. I passed the land on to my son a couple of years ago to insure it stays in the family in case I go. I feel like a different person everytime i step foot on that land. Its my heaven on earth cause it was my momma and daddys.
Easter weekend 1987, my husband and I took our kids and drove down to Fort Payne from Sikeston Missouri, went out to the cattle barn, they have HUGE Limosine cattle out there, or they did then. We went to that overlook to have a look at the canyon, drove up to Randy's house, and later, to Jeff's, then rounded it off with a trip through their museum and a look at a tour bus. So nice to be in a little town where the people are friendly and it feels like home, even to a stranger.
I went to see Alabama in Cedar Park, Texas last year. I have loved your music since the first time I heard you. Still referring to your father as Daddy makes me so happy. I lost my daddy in 2013 and I still hear from him in music, in the calm nights and especially during my hectic days. Thanks Alabama for keeping this lady grounded in good country music. Randy has the heart of home. His and my Alabama. My Alabama is across the state in the NW corner of the state, Where Indians roamed and my uncle talked about them living in the cave across Shoal creek. My daddy skinning cats off the rail road bridge into Shoal creek. Life was pleasant there too. Chards of arrow heads lie there from the past. An Indian Mound ravaged by time is at Dalton Bottoms. Daddy said there were 6 more up to the train trestle in Iron City, TN back when he was a boy. There was rumors of Jefferson dropping gold in the water at Savannah Ford. This ads to the mystique.
