You should switch the wheels from left to right in either axle so they match directionally, they look amazing 👍🏼

You're right, I think that was an error not realizing the direction of the wheel design when they mounted the tires. Need to remount those tires with the wheel design in the right direction.
I saw that too! Wheels look great, but maybe a bit more of a silver colour instead of the grey?

Just wanted to thank you guys for doing the mullet mustang series. It was fun to see you two outside of your comfort zone ( ford, drag racing, the wigs etc.). Us S197 guys really appreciated it.

I was going to prefer the original wheels no matter what, until you showed the new ones and yeah, I still prefer the original. They just look perfect. The exhaust sounds amazingly good.
Finally somone mentioned the ibus app been trying to tell people about it for years but nobody seams to listen. Glad to see somone finally doing it here in ontario

Really nice work guys, have been following this build from the start and the final result is next level. Love the stance and attention to detail throughout. I'm a purist myself but those E34 M5 "throwing star" wheels are so cool! Makes this a very unique car. Looking forward to the first drive!

I'm definitely in team chrome, however I think the facelift kidneys look better. As you've said, the Style 65s are an amazing wheel for the E39 and if you'd ask me, it's the best wheel you can put on them. Still, the ones you've chosen for yours are pretty cool, too.
Looks amazing!! The wheels are perfect but they look to be directional and rears are on the wrong side. Polished lip would have been perfect!

I like Dave’s idea about making a set of 2 peace E39 M5 wheels, those would be sick, the ones on there now would look better on an E34 I think but that’s just me
@@lamboferruccio No, Vanos rattle on the S62 isn’t problematic, period. It’s just the noise of the gear mechanisms at idle. It does not hurt performance, nor is it more likely to fail. BMW revised the design of the spring diaphragm in late 01, and added an oil accumulator in late 00 to eliminate the scary sounding (but harmless) startup rattle. Vanos rattle is not timing chain slap or anything.

imo chrome has no place on cars post 1980. Always thought chrome trim around windows looks gawdy, and what is with that stupid chrome strip they put on the trunk/rear hatch of almost every car made between 2000 - 2015, it's horrid!

I love the throwing stars, but they're one generation too old for this body style. There's a bit too much mass with them as well. They're fine! I like them haha.

@@1one3_Racing I like those wheels, but wish they were 5 spoke. 4 spokes remind me of those work wheels which only look good on the AE86's.
@@kc550 I almost bought that model of Celica Supra in the early 2000s with those exact wheels on it but I think they were 15s. But you know, 5M-E at 150hp turned me off!

I prefer the original wheels. They look more modern than the “throwing stars”.
Those "throwing stars" just look terrible I have some friends with e39's and these cars look amazing with bbs newer style r20 wheel's with small profile tyres

I dig the chrome grills, but prefer the facelift version with the wider frame over the cir-1996 OE grills.
