The guy who bought this house originally is Russian Oligarch who made his money in aluminum and "blood money". He was also heavily connected to the Russian mafia. He became a billionaire because mysteriously a lot of his competitors started to disappear when he started to build his corporation.

There are a few neighborhoods in Brooklyn,Queens and Staten Island were you will find homes that would make you believe you are in Beverly Hills and the first hint is when you see all the Greek Romanesque statues and Carrera Marble throughout the exterior Yet for obvious reasons many of the Mobbed up owners prefer to remain below the radar as if many people would want to believe it is plaster Paris that the statues and exteriors are constructed with.Todt Hill in particular has many multi million dollar mansions and in BK nearby the Verrazano Bridge are amazing homes that spend about 20 thousand dollars a month in adornments during the Christmas season,most likely paid with side money earned from extortion I mean construction money!😅🤣

Odds are based on human emotion, even if you could go back in time and invest in Apple, Amazon and Google when they first IPO'd, you still wouldn't. You'd be too afraid these companies are nothing more than a flash in the pan.
It's now the same attitude with cryptocurrency. Many people are panning it calling it a scam, fraud and saying it's going to zero. Not understanding the incredible technology behind the blockchain and why it really is the "next" Google, Apple, Amazon of our time.

You know there are other ways of building wealth right? If you start at 18-20yrs old and deposit $100-$200 every month into an IRA, because of interest and an ETF like SPY, you would literally have a little over a million waiting to be withdrawn when ur like 55-60 that’s tax free as well. Many ways to build wealth it’s not just ppl who win a lottery or born into money you know

I highly doubt wealthy residents who live in that neigbhorhood want a shopping mall in their private neigbhorhood or even an apartment complex. People live in Mill Basin for privacy.
