I want to mention this cause I'm so angry. From around half of the video the editing program started lagging (probably cause I filled it with 9+ hours streams?) so I had to edit without being able to clearly see what was happening on screen and using sound queues and other stuff, so I'm sorry if it ends up kinda clunky :D

Lets be fair, if you enjoy playing noita for fun, CBT is also on the table, and anyone that likes that typically isn't right in the head.
I don't remember where I said that I was right in the head

@@ticklord *digs with a earthstone for 30 minutes to get a minigun and start the run*
Cognitive behavioral therapy or the other CBT?
One thing that I find really cool about noita besides how amazing and interesting the spell making system is
Is just the fact of the bosses and how they are all unique (besides three legged spider albeit its more a tutorial), and or have quicker ways to kill them, to list my top 2, 2nd place is with the alchemist where due to his gimmick he rewards using wands that do shittons of damage in a single hit
And my favorite of course is with squidward where you know how spell making often kills you? Well if you make a wand which has a high likelihood good and use it on squidward, he replicates it. So for example giga sawblades than boomerang, hit him, he replicates it and then proceeds to use it, resulting in squidwards death
One of the best explanations and descriptions of the game that I've ever seen (that wasn't just moaning 'Perkele!' while in the fetal position).
You completely encapsulated why we masochists love Noita.
Subbed.
Thanks!
My saddest death is having polymorph disquise itself perfectly with the strange fungus and just having my own projectiles instantly kill me.
Oooooooh I think that happened to me too...
Amazing video man, I adore how you managed to capture the unending feeling of excitement and discovery this game brings and wont stop bringing, as a seasoned player myself that has been watching all the streams I must say I could not be more impressed with what all you managed to find on your own though I will say, there are still some things left to be done, the biggest and most prestigious quests of the game you have not yet completed and I hope yo be able to see you go back to clean it all up setting a proper end to it, either way you know I'll stick around and support ya. Happy noiting
Thanks! Maybe there will be another stream of Noita in the future, to go back and finish what's left...
Isn't cruelty squad and ultrakill also Finnish?
Yep, they were on the meme towards the beginning. Along Baba.
Cruelty squad is a fever dream

This video is really heartwarming. I love how excited you get when discovering new mechanics and places. You have the right mindset towards Noita and your commentary really adds a lot to the video. Noita is one of my favourite video games and I am glad I could witness you playing through and enjoying it. By the way, you either missed (or deliberately ommited) something very important about the orbs of hidden knowledge and the "final" boss. If you were to return to the game, you should probably consider reading the wiki at some point. There are some really cool spell interactions and tricks, which aren't realistically discoverable without data mining (like the exact mechanics of divide by spells for example).
Thanks! I think I mentioned what you're referring to between orbs and final boss!
Don't forget there also slavics with stalker, dark wood and whatever else there are, those also don't give you a break from time to time. Truly the games of all time
OHH yeah darkwood is really cool
as someone who lives in poland, I can confirm that darkwood represents our land perfectly

@@Gabriel_Ultrakill Pyro and albino already played and stopped it

The title says nothing until the person goes for 34 orbs run (10 hours). Good luck, you'll not be ready to finish this task so easily, because it requires skill which is not the main point of this game, but TONS of luck.
I'd argue skill is a large component of success in Noita. Knowing what spells do what interacts with what and the limits of the resources available to you. If you learn enough you can make the starter wand easily carry you through a loop (though you'd find better wands instantly anyway)
@@ticklord as long as you find the necessary spells, it depends on luck purely. Trying to make weapons of gods using whatever you have (tablet/friendly fire/slowly drowing enemies in water and using electricity on your wand) - goal of survivability
@@Par9000 first floor is easily cleared with just spark bolt, you can even do mines with just spark bolt. Finding upgrades and the pieces to make overpowered combos is basically guarenteed. Stop believing that you got "unlucky" and start actually looking at what you are given. Yes sometimes you do get noita'd, but a lot of the time that's still user error

Love that Frapollo decided to make a Noita video, I’m 100% down for frapollo to start branching out the content.
Now I wanna see DunkorSlam react to this vid.
Somehow ended up here after watching your Digimon World video. You sir have earned yourself a subscriber, and thrown me into the deep-end of Noita.
One of the best Noita vids on YT. A+ gameplay, editing, and humor.

Frapollo. If your ever looking for another game to "channel your inner masochist" might i recommend the Caves Of Qud.
I myself have over 400 hours in it and cant even get halfway through it because i have NEVER seen a game so purposefully made to be broken yet no matter how much you break it, it just laughs and goes "oh? how cute, my turn"
I would share a bit of my experience but this great wall of text is getting rather long. And it would be a shame to spoil the experience. So heres a quote instead.
If pain and suffering are the extra edge to your enjoyment. Your going to have a great time! Sseth.
Caves of Qud is on my list!
@@frapollo94 thank you so much! But I cant help but think of all the trauma that will soon follow from it. So here are some tips "you'll need them"
The way you move is best with the number pad, strange but it works, you can also use ctrl with the number pad to attack anything next to you.
L is to look. Gives you rough information and lore.
0 is auto explore, it will search the map for any loot and stop when there is danger.
You can use 7 and 9 while in the inventory to quickly change to other menus.
A is for abilities. But there you can also bind them to something like ctrl+A, or shift+X
Space is to Interact with things next to you. From closing doors, talking to people, to arming traps.
+ and - let's you go up or down and stairs which it will automaticallygo to the stairs. "Good for when you forget where they are" - can also open the map when on the surface.
And there many many things you can do in the settings. Quite the intricate system isn't it?
Dude I've literally been looking for a video like this for weeks now, thanks man I didnt really like the gameplay of noita but everything else keeps me really interested
A lot of these starting rules remind me of fear and hunger: knowledge is power, combat is deadly
That's surely a reason this game stayed in my heart

wait until Frapollo discover what orbs are truly for, that's where the true Noita obsession begins
I have seen so many people play this game, but I've never seen anyone who saw the lava lake, was holding a water potion, and their immediate thought was to go all the way back and over the mountain instead of pouring the water onto the lava. Really made me wonder if you ever played Minecraft or Terraria before. This man truly went into the game already thinking way outside of the box. Starting your first run by going left, not right, was also an immediate evidence of that. Actual crazy gameplay, lol.
Thanks buddy! Yeah I always like to try to challenge the game's limits to see how far can I push before being punished
I havent watched a Noita video so concise and helpful for leaning the game, thank U!
Big ups for pronouncing Noita correctly.

man, that polimorph death hurt even me :(
Can't wait for you to announce FinnFrapCon where all of these devs come together and teach new game designers how to make games that hurt Frapollo's feelings
Now, that would be an INCREDIBLE idea
You may have heard of the dungeon of Fear and hunger but have you heard of the dungeon of Clastrophobia and Spells
Well congrats! Now that's one of my favourite channels, after you've got Noita'd :D
Yhis game is nearly impossible to spoil. Looking at other people's strategies only just help you. A lot of the quests are so cryptic along with the endings that looking up a guide is almost infinitely faster. I love this game and how much it feels like there's more than the seemingly at first tiny world then becoming the olympian size it actually is
@@Knight_Percevel i disagree on the spoil thing, mechanics such as spellwrapping and magical properties of chainsaw are spoilers as an example
@@frapollo94 I suppose you are right about that. The moment I found out that moving a spell even forward or ahead actually mattered opened my eyes and I had immense curiosity. Wand building is cryptic, but it should be discovered. But honestly for anyone's sanity if they wanted to get all quests done I think they should look at hints so it doesn't take a million years, some of them I would have never found out what to do

Regardless how you feel about Finland, you did a hell of a job with your adventures through the holy mountain. Wonderus explanation as well to the "core gameplay."
Hella fast too with as many acomplishments you have achienved, even if there still more for you to see. As above, so below. Happy discovery if you pick it up again, even if it in your off hours keep at it for there are STILL unsolved mysteries even after data miners and all these years it been out.

Imagine my confusion when I thought this is what Rain World was, and I get there and it's cats with non-magical sticks.
And I finally get here and it's "Spell Scripting Programmer (Become God) Wand 4000". I am still VERY intrigued. Maybe I will be less petrified if I ever get into it and go exploring now.

Oh man, this unlocked nostalgia of when I first played. Except I was around for the early access and was there for when they just adding stuff and more stuff and more stuff. Updates are rare since it keft EA but still.
Also polymorph... Even the Gods fear it, and are humbled by it's power. That's my thought when you brought it up.
Great work!
Fear and Hunger looks a bit different this time, must be a weird challenge run
Never heard of noita before, I've seen you play it but i generally don't have enough time on my hand to watch all the vods, but if this video is some kind of super cut i would gladly learn about noita from you
Lemme know how it went!
Now I'm just waiting for The Last Spell video essay where you show your pc specs. Btw I changed my name I used to be Lost Paradise.
Wow something good must have happened for going from lost to feelslikeaparadise
My only real gripes with The Last Spell is how a lot of weapon classes are just straight useless compared to others. Most strategy just involves having multiple longbow/shortbow character with supplimental magic and melee to clean up the rest.
@ticklord Most weapons are what I would consider balanced(I am playing on the most recent version on PS4, which may be a contributing factor as on older versions I heard that balancing was horrible), but they are definitely some really good weapons like one-handed crossbow and on higher difficulties I could definitely see the balance being worse.
0:27 c'mon bro Legends of Grimrock is a certified hood classic. It's not a horror game but a bit closer to old school dungeon crawlers. It has amazing puzzles and rewards the player so well for being smart.
its still weird
What makes ukko dangerous is that their attack is not a normal attack but is equivalent to a powerful "compound" spell that a player wouldn't normally make because it uses very dangerous spells, specifically a thunder charge with trigger that casts multiple lighting bolts, each of these spells deals a lot of explosive and electric damage, if you don't have any health upgrades, I'm pretty sure that a proper hit csn 1 shot you, very few enemies have compound spells
I actually didn't know the compound thing!
@@frapollo94 Nah I made a mistake, I just tried in game and he shoots just a regular thunder charge, it just happens that when a thunder charge hits it releases thunder bolts
