@@TheJols If you're ever thinking about going to Hiisi Base but don't feel like you have the crowd control, try some alternate areas. Getting good at Fungal Caverns is way easier than getting good at Hiisi Base, and getting access to fungal shifts will let you manage the difficulty of the rest of the game, which can ease the learning curve by a lot. Magical Temple is tougher but if you're looking for key spells like teleport or add mana, the flying wand enemies in here have a pretty high chance to have them after they die. You can even go to the ruined alchemy lab and try doing some alchemy to get potion utility you haven't been able to find, if you have good damage (or at least, are good with the tablet). None of those places are as chaotic as Hiisi Base is, although the dps requirement for the Lab is pretty high, and they all have key tricks to learn how to deal with them.
I love that the devs ask mod makers about quality of life improvements that the community is using, and then implement them in the vanilla game. That’s awesome.

2:40:07 What you're describing about dunk-bot 2.0 is called "scope creep" in the software world, where the scope of the project keeps expanding as you come up with new ideas and try to implement them all. Plenty of huge multi-million dollar projects have sunk under their own weight due to this, it's a really normal thing to struggle with. One thing you can do to combat this is determine a fixed scope now - a limited number of core features - and decide to release just those features, just to get something done. You can call this your "minimum viable product". Then when you've done that, you can expand the features to include the next thing. Just a thought that might maybe help you with your process. Even if you do bring in outside programmers, nailing down your scope and giving them that will help them to complete the project in time. Scope creep affects managed projects just as badly if not worse than self-made projects, so bringing in outside help won't necessarily get the project finished unless you can solve this problem. If they're good they'll walk you through the process of scoping the project, but if you can scope it yourself you either may not need them, or you can be a good client and help them do their jobs more quickly and get a better result which will save you a lot of pain and money in the long run.

I knew of Noita back in 2019 when it first showed up. It had a short phase of big hype but I never came to try it out myself and then completely forgot about it. Only recently UA-cam randomly put one of your videos in my recommendations. It was the video with you doing the sun quest and I was blown away by how huge this game is. I since then got into the game myself and now I'm sad I didn't try it out earlier. I'm having a blast sofar! Even though most times I am the one who gets blasted but I'm only 180 hours in so far so that is to be expeted. Noita truly is a game about knowledge. Having watched a lot of your videos by now I have to say they immensely helped. Especially when it comes to wand building. Or just a couple of little but yet effective tricks, like using the statues to kill steve or using heart mages to increase your hp to ludicrous amounts. Great content! I hope I can someday catch you on twitch but beeing from germay there is a slight time zone issue with that. :)
On the topic of taxes, the reason they can't tell you what you owe is because they don't know what deductions and dependents you're going to claim, nor do they have a perfect idea of how much money you made. If you have an employer making regular withholdings throughout the year they can sort of know a rough estimate, but you might have sold a car to a friend, or have won a lottery, or did some side gig that paid in cash, and you being a good citizen, report it at the end of the fiscal year. Once you report all that, then they can do the final calculation, and part of the investigation is making sure you're actually entitled to the deductions you claim. Some are pretty obvious from the outset as being yes/no, and if that's all you report, then they'll be able to come back pretty quickly with the true amount you owe and compare it to what you calculated. That's kind of what tax software does. It has all the deductions and whatnot built into it, and you just plug it in.
Honestly, I don't think the devs view the multiple chest trick as an exploit or problem, at least the way you did it (without save scumming or world resets). Since you've got 85 uses of it at absolute maximum, and it each time you reset the timer counts towards your run's polymorph death clock, extending the rain is basically playing chicken on your dodging/not using it in the future. Since it already has a hard upper limit, is tricky, requires luck to use early, is relatively slow, is potentially lethal to screw up, and doesn't provide anything you couldn't get elsewhere, I wouldn't be surprised if it's on the list of "keep an eye on it, but at this point its just amusing if they can pull it off" things.
@@rnd41r at 75 polymorphs, you'll get a "the gods are very angry with you" thing. at 85, they'll be "furious"... and the next polymorph you experience will be permanent. Not a guaranteed death or run killer if you get something like a hell worm, but good luck doing anything after that without wands, potions, perks, and possibly as a sheep.

It's called a credit score, and it decides if you can buy a house (or if you're trapped paying off landlords your entire life), buy a car (or if you're unable to get to decent employment which could increase your score), or get any loan, (or if you're permanently incapable of starting a business or making other meaningful improvements to your life). Frankly, what we really have is worse than what scaremongers lie about China having.
Here in NY the traffic cameras are the only reason some people consider stopping at the traffic lights. Even then the drivers are so horrible that a lot of them just blow through them anyway so long as theres a ~60% chance they wont be hit. Theres so many laws here that theres almost no instance in which a person ISNT breaking a law at least once per day, and because of that a good number of people just ignore laws in general.

so i have a missing island and im doing my sun quest i got the normal sun in its home and that's where i save quit, but its my 6th attempt at the sun run. first couple of try's i kept blowing the sun off with the bombs but this time im not having no issue not even one close call with the sun pulling me in but i made my first sun in the mines im planning on making my dark sun right at its home cause it'll be safer

Debt is a huge part of America! I can remember the moment I turned 18 and getting bombarded by credit card companies very well. Every company is rushing to be the one that you are in debt to and is begging you to sign up for their credit card, even offering “free” money in the hundreds of dollars just because they are that confident you will spend so much that your debt to them will earn it back for them. Pretty messed up and crazy, I know.
I would do this at the start, spend a good half hour geyting the chest up abd looting, rack up hundreds of extra max health, then get killed by fire before I make it to the portal lol
Joking aside... I would love to see a run on UA-cam that actually shows off The Tower (like, intended route, not the cheese version). Could be any of your god-runs; since it would be a good way to showcase some of the stuff people don't usually play with. Tower, and Skylands come to mind too. And maybe a few of the other zones (or mini-zones) I can't currently think of that aren't usually worth visiting.

i tried launching this seed as a normal run and it starts me out with water potion, something wrong seems to be going right over here.
that's because regular runs and daily runs have different starting flasks, yours will still be the same seed but just with a different starting flask

Debt can be an amazing wealth building tool if you allow it. A mortgage on 5 homes then allows them to be rented and later sold for profit.

Tower is worth going through simply for the music that plays there, it fits the chaotic nature of the tower perfectly
