I first saw the Thriller 40 trailer on TikTok & i was like ooh i gotta see this. It was on Halloween when i first saw it. I can't wait to see the documentary. The Off The Wall & the Bad documentary i watch those during Covid. I got tired of being bored & i wanted to watch something interesting and that's when i came across both documentarys on both of those. I really enjoyed watching both Off The Wall & The Bad documentarys so i know im gonna enjoy this one of the Thriller 40 documentary.
This one is not directed by Spike Lee tho ... let's see

Damm, is anyone else upset Spike Lee didn't get to finish his MJ Doc trilogy? I really enjoyed his perspective of going through each song and giving in-depth stories of their impact on culture or the music industry. I wonder what happened, BTS. Or if him expressing he'd go after MTV for banning MJ, had something to do with it?

Does anyone have that footage of one of the behind the scenes people saying how "Beat It" was going to be cut and in the meeting Michael cried until they said fine keep it and on a dime he stopped crying and said thank you.... Why didn't I write it down....

I was lucky to see the documentary last year during the Thriller 40 album celebration and I was in one of the lucky cities selected by the Estate (aka Sydney), and believe me, without spoiling anything, it's AMAZING! I cannot wait to see this again! Love your review and preview of the documentary, just awesome! It's so good reliving the era, the very era that made me a fan to begin with.

In addition to the people who were interviewed for this doc, I also hope they include comments from people who are no longer with us, like Bruce Swedien, Eddie Van Halen, Walter Yetnokoff, etc. They all had a part in the success of Thriller and I hope they're acknowledged in it

Hi, Randall! 👋🏽 I’m so excited for this doc, as the Thriller album/era holds a special place in my heart. Not too crazy about Nelson George, but I hope some of his attitudes about Michael have changed. Fingers crossed it eventually gets a DVD/Blu-ray and digit copy release!
I totally agree with you, I so hope his attitudes about Michael Jackson the person has changed bc Michael is not only the greatest music artist, humanitarian and phylanthropist but also he is an innocent, kind and a wonderful human being.
What was his attitude towards Michael?
