Taj, Michael’s nephew, said that the last thing that his Uncle told him was that they were going to do films. We already know how Michael was in the music industry, can you imagine him in films?! Fun fact about that: The speaking voice of Michael Jackson is Michael himself, but the singing voice is not Michael because apparently he was obligated not to sing so they hired someone else to do Michael’s singing parts.

It wasn't that he was obligated not to sing he thought that would be the most obvious so he asked The Simpsons produces if he could just do the speaking part and not sing
@@kaleahcollins4567 his contract with SONY did not allow him to sing, so that's why there's someone else singing the song. Michael also was supposed to be on Quincy Jones' album, and SONY would not allow him to do that either.
I really adore his appearance in the Simpsons! It is very funny! Sad that it is not in rotation... So cool to see Michael in yet another form! It's amazing how much this man did :)

The Simpson’s episode with him is so iconic and they should definitely bring it back. Shame on them for taking it down! One of my favorites of MJ from back in the day was the California Raisins commercial I heard it through the grapevine. I especially love the clip of MJ describing what the raisins should look like. LOL

LOL when you got lost watching “Cast Away.” I think I own that movie and if I have it I have to watch it with you I have not seen in a long time and if I remember right I was lost too. As for the Simpsons it’s a shame was removed but I appreciate that you highlighted it and hopefully it will be returned into streaming services in the future.
I had never heard of Miss Cast Away. I loved how they incorporated him into the movie. I had also never seen The Simpsons episode with him. Did you notice the telephone extensions to Geraldo, Larry King, etc.? I liked that addition. Great video!

Sad they took this Simpsons episode down. I feel like that Leaving Neverland doc has tainted MJ’s legacy forever. I wish the general public could go back to appreciating him but I don’t see that happening 😥 now whenever I talk about his music someone always trashes him

I wish Michael had done more movie and TV appearances during his career! He was such a great actor!!! Have you ever seen the 2004 movie 13 Going On 30 starring Jennifer Garner? Michael wasn't in it but there's this one scene in the movie where Jennifer's character goes to a party and asks the DJ to change the music to a 80s song. What is the song she requests? None other than the iconic Thriller!!! She does the dance and pretty soon everyone else there joins in and it's a fun scene. I wonder if Michael saw the movie himself and had a big smile on his face when he was mentioned.....?

Believe it or not, Kipp Lennon actually came back to The Simpsons to do the singing voice for MJ's character AGAIN!
The episode "Mr. Lisa's Opus" from Season 29 (which was 8 years after Michael died) shows MJ's character, Leon Kompowsky, briefly returning and singing a new verse for Lisa.
THAT episode is on Disney Plus, but not "Stark Raving Dad". Go figure.

It's been a while since I've watched the simpsons episode! Reminds me of my childhood, the 90s etc. Fun fact is that I've only watched the original episode not too long ago. The version I knew was the french version, but they kept Michael singing in this version thank God! We were actually singing "___ it's your birthday~" growing up when it was my or my friends birthday. What a throwback!
Anyway, never saw the Miss Cast Away one! The movie is soooo corny I cant 😂
