Yes, you can get two more levels of the Orrery as daily specials (daily special itself or in the Epic Anniversary daily special), or possibly as Mini Challenge rewards (may have changed since Beta). Then you need a Golden upgrade, either from Professional League (top 5%) or by completing a Mini Challenge (uncertain, but probably).
what would ypu say if all your worlds were spawning locked gems? the tutorial worked fine. i spent all day yesterday locked out of my main city too..... that was explained in a way that makes sense but i dont think anyone else has this problem.

Nope. Neither the previous Anniversary or Soccer events reset boards automatically. You have to do it manually. Generally, each board should be worth ~50 progress between keys and gems.
what do you do if the event minigame does not work...like clicking on stuff doesn't allow you to move it...should i try throwing my computer out of a moving vehicle?
You can only move free gems, not locked ones. Just click on the gem you want to merge, then the gem you want to merge with. Clicking and dragging won't work. There is a small bug on mobile with it, though.
Zephyr is available in Bronze League or better, but weaker versions (L1) in Bronze or (L2) in Silver. Strongest (L3) version from Gold League. Level 1 is still darn good, but higher levels give more daily fragments of the Metro Station and +6fp per level. They give fragments of the Metro Station, not Zephyr's Fusion though.

Some mornings after the reset the first (doubled) gold chest is worth something like 54 progress while other mornings it's only worth 32. Anybody know why this is? Is it some sort of 'you have too many keys' thing?
Then it's not a bad event. Shouldn't be too hard to hit gold league, but if you want multiple event buildings during the event, they will get more and more expensive.
@@micdy7104 Event Pass prizes are only available for real money, not diamonds. If you buy the Pa$$, use diamonds to get more Energy so that you can play more games to make more Progress => hence more prizes. You might want to aim for 7500 Progress (I think) to get a second Metro Station to max level. The L3 Zephyr's Fusion is nice if you can finish in Gold League, but honestly the Silver League L2 version is also very nice. Alternatively, you can use diamonds to help you finish the Challenge events, if the final milestone prizes are worth it. Stage of Ages level 2 is VERY nice, and you could get a few of these from Challenges as well as a small chance from clearing boards. Upgraded (Golden) "Celestial Golden Orrery" is useful because it gives fragments of the SoA selection kit (i.e. upgrades), so you want to use those diamonds to help get you into at least Silver League, or perhaps complete at least one of the two Mini Challenges. As far as the daily specials go, I'm not convinced that they are worth spending a lot of diamonds. It's a great event to get some missing levels if you previously got a golden upgrade (e.g. for Chocolatery) but your building was not at max level yet. However, the Tower of Conjunction is already looking a bit weak due to the power creep factor. It's ok if you get it to level 11 (including golden upgrade) but the Keymaster's Workshop is much too weak to go for.
Yeah I didn't follow that at all either. Last time I played I finished every board because that's seemingly the only way to progress. You will need, guessing here, 50 gems and at the end sometimes just spawning over and over again to get the last one you need. Playing now, the only alternative I guess is you never finish boards and keep paying for them to restart, unsure how much that costs after the 2nd, 3rd, 10th time.

I usually don't either, but since top 50% was only 2290 on Beta, it felt pretty safe.

You have to click the spawn button (the +) to spawn gems

There are two gold chests - one requiring 15 keys and giving 21 progress, one that requires 18 keys and gives 27.
