Just some other reminders/FAQs/things: 1. You may see quantum medals, these aren't used yet with the current version of the feature, but may eventually be used for expansions for your main city. 2. The only thing carrying over between seasons are quantum shards. No troops, goods, coins, supplies, nor the settlement itself, will carry over except for the shards. 3. Remember to work with your guild! This isn't a feature where you can do everything yourself! Goods and units ARE NOT pooled between guild members. I'll update this comment if I see any more common questions being asked :)
Thanks for the video! One question though, the spreadsheet takes 5 days to set up the village before building any form of boosts but by day three I can barely keep the fights up without any boosts. The problem for me is that once I start building boosts my output of buildings becomes so bad that I can't do anything afterwards. Any advise on this?

Give it a shot first. Personally I find it more interesting than spending the same or more time just autobattling in GBG. Takes you back to the early days of starting a city in FoE :)
I've done all auto-battles in my rinky dink beta world with no attack boosts and have done decently with ballistas. Looking forward to doing it on my main with Forgotten Temple and Tourney grounds backup
Thank for the great video, very helpful. Flotte's guide is also very useful. Wish it was an actual spreadsheet so I could tinker with it, but beggars can't be choosers. So far I've got a positive reaction to QI itself. Manual fighting with IA troops is not something I've done in a very long time, but I expect that will mostly be necessary early on and if you want the progress bonuses and don't have the required troops. Wish they had buffed the settlement buildings already, but I can see why they want to wait for Polynesia. Power guilds on my server are already dominating, but what else is new. Thanks again for the content.
Great, more daily tasks in order to keep up. Now we have to 1) check our city, 2) campaign map, 3) PvP Arena, 4) space settlements, 5) cultural settlements, 6) GBG, 7) GE, 8) Events, 9) Quantum Incursions. This game is just becoming too much. It’d be different if these tasks were actually fun but most are just button mashing to get rewards. Hope my guild doesn’t mind if I sit this one out.
same here, i hate it, i tried it but never liked it, not a fan of IA or manual battles, and this is just same age, fighting an AI over and over, rebuild same old town over and over..its extremely repetitive and boring, the rewards are ok , as it stands only reason to do it would be for expansions, but they take so long after u get the 1st, i wouldn't bother to do any more seasons.
thanks for the breakdown, talk about how the mighty have fallen, the game we were all addicted to when farmers ruled the fighters that performed like the trained monkeys in GvG are all gone..130k diamonds sitting here, might as well use them before retiring from the game.. or maybe they put an element in to resurrect game play..such a sad pale reflection of a previously addictive game.
We have a disagreement amongst members of our guild. Some suggest doing all the nodes we can before we hit the boss. Some say take the fastest path to the boss and move thru the difficulty levels as fast as possible. What do you all think?
Really kind of depends how powerful your guild is. If you have a lot of members and make it to high levels anyways, then go ahead and take all the nodes. But if you don't reach high levels all the time, skipping those nodes can help you get further through levels, if not reach higher levels than you would otherwise. It's a balance between rewards, and there's not really one right answer. Additionally, if your guildmates have fewer QI boosts, the lower levels could help everyone get rewards and contribute, while reaching higher levels faster could limit those members to donation nodes. Just something to keep in mind.
So, with this running at a different time to GbG it looks as though there is no longer a window to switch guilds without losing rewards for either this or GbG?
Excellent video. That was my reaction to qi on beta. What am I supposed to do? My settlement isn’t laid out well, so enthusiasm is low. Have to rebuild it before figuring out what to do next.

QI is extremely tedious and not fun. It feels like a job. I'm not going to be playing it. I watched the video, i started playing it with my guild, but many have the same feeling: it's just too much of a time suck and not fun. It's also obviously pay to win. Honestly, i think I'm just going to quit before FOE takes over my life. I've already been playing for 8 years, but i guess all things must come to an end.

Yes events aprox every 2 months Thats when i either advance have enuff goods etc -OR- Hold as i am Now artic Future this lev is slow with ship collecting collect lots them boost to lev up buildings = new soldiers as in the knights pavilion x2 seem to get plenty of Artillery cruising the game over time even the older tanks hit well if boosted by G.Buildings etc attack %1,200 def 870% Irish game + buildings just got into guild battle grounds 5 maps i play and Boom do you collect every 2/6 hits say :) lev 1 map to lev 40 done alone easy as pie tap others if says attack . good luck

We are trying this one out. Our guild never played GvG but now 15-20 of our guild members going to at least try it^^ I'm relying on ubernerd to give me the info how to play that^^
NO ONE used GvG, because it wasn't worth it at all. But Quantum Incursions have great rewards that are worth the little time you'll spend playing it every day.
@@TheLordoftheThings1M Surprisingly, there WERE still a good number of Browser players who loved the strategic control aspects of GvG, and doing the co-ordinated battles at a set time - right up until the end. I'm not one of them; trying to do battles in GvG was a VERY fiddly and awkward process. I rather hope that encounters in QI are more streamlined/faster (as well as rewarding of course).

When choosing goods buildings or even military buildings you can not tell which building produces what you want because they have no identification except icon symbols which is little help.

i think you can simply donate your free units and any coins or supplies when donation nodes come up wjich will help plus neo coöossus is gpod for ypur main city too.
I find manual fighting on mobile next to impossible cs there is less info on range and how the units move. Could you comment on how to best fight manually on mobile please?
Quantum shards are mentioned several times but nothing on how to earn more of them. Once I set the initial settlement down I'm out of shards and I don't seem to earn any to build up my settlement. So how are we supposed to acquire quantum charge without purchasing them with real money. This event is gonna require money to play that I'm definitely out
@@UBERnerd14 have played three complete sessions and have never earned 1 Shard so please tell me how I'm supposed to get these shards because once I set my base city like you mentioned in your video, I do not earn any more shards and therefore cannot build or expand. I just tried it using Karotte's guide. QI appears to be nothing more than a diamond scam. I fought about 5 battles, but I already lost 2 units and I don't feel like spending diamonds on QI, so it won't be long before I can't do any fights. It's a complete waste of time and diamonds. 😑
Don't spend diamonds. The units heal over time like in your regular city. Fight four or five times, let your units heal and go back in later and fight again. No need for diamond spending.
Question here..... have noticed that if you aren't a participant in a node (on level 3, so cost to open is 2k), then the next node becomes 4k and if you don't do it the following is 6k, etc.... can players get completely locked out of QI if they miss a level or can you miss a level and this cost resets to start the following one?

You can go back and complete skipped nodes, unless you're talking about where the officers have to choose a path. Once you move up in difficulty, any unfinished nodes on that level can not be returned to.
Maybe a wierd question, but what happen if i switch of guild on the half of a QI? So after this GS i want to go to another guild, what happen to my season and my total competition on QI?
Seems pretty boring. We produce huge amounts of goods, medals, and all ages of troups yet, none of that matters for a new feature. Very lame. I can see the shards and other specific currency for Qi but what a waste for a guild not not even using the donated medals. Seriously, Nothing from your city helps at this time. Even worse is NO Great Building helps Qi. Why do we even use Great buildings anymore?
Uber I don’t understand flotte’s first layout. She’s got the wrong orientation to the butcher. It’s not 3x4 it’s 4x3, ( whichever is the opposite from her design), so it doesn’t match her layout. Or I’m missing something fundamental.
Rotate it 90 degrees in your head then. It's made with the top of your city as the top right corner of the screen. I agree - I think the top of the city is the other side, but the one Flotte uses is kinda standard for layouts.
Great rewards, a feature that is more than just autobattling... it's not something that will appeal to everyone, but it's different from something like a GBG or GE
only the reward its fantastic to see that inno said we want to make it less time consuming meanwhile you get 12week champions quantum quazzy nonsense that eat your time
QI is the worst... did you notice that they DIRECTLY implemented pay to win in competetive gameplay now (it is competitive, right? if not it would be a very poor replacement for gvg tho) ... ingame currency plus quantum pass or whatever... and all your main city progress is irrelevant in QI and the QI rewards are just the next step in inflation aka nerfing the progress you made in the past and pushing you towards spending money on the new game mechanics... just another cheap cash grab 👎👎👎 ...also now that the QI rewards are now the most valuable in the game, so with QI they pretty much nerfed diamonds (no function in QI) to make competitive players actually buy (the newly implemented) ingame currency instead of building diamond farms... Inno is nothing but a bunch of gready ******* at this point, screw these guys
So true. They almost lost their shit when covid hit. They hired a bunch of people then a few years later laid a bunch off. All the new crap they're putting in the game is to keep ppl from having multiple worlds i.e. diamond farms and spend more money. It's sad really, the game used to be fun. Now it's just greedy.

i so totally agree with you Adrian ... i don't need more pointless, time consuming elements to drudingly do, and i hate all the boring battles and fighting as it is ... and hows about inno look forward, and not take us all back to iron age beginning with nothing ... might as well just start another new city at least its more fun building a city how you want it and built just to do more fights ... Geez. really inno if you want to make more money out of us you got to do better than same old same old ... we need quick easy fun things along side our city not full time jobs !

I wasn’t interested in this quantum thing but I just found out that you can buy expansions with quantum medals, so here we go 🏃♀️

QI looks VERY different to GvG. It's more of an odd mix of Settlements, GE, and GBG.
NO ONE used GvG, because it wasn't worth it at all. But Quantum Incursions have great rewards that are worth the little time you'll spend playing it every day.

You gain more shards from the pass and from some of the node rewards. Doesn't require spending :)

No. For a member to participate, they must build a settlement and complete nodes.

You could miss a level. It costs 2000 action points to move over each node

Sort of like switching mid GBG or GE season. You won't be able to compete for the rest of the season.

Is the incursion limited to Iron Age only? Can you use Traz to stock Iron Age military in your main and carry over to incursion battlefield ?
No troops or goods carry over. But yes, it is IA only.
Seems pretty boring. We produce huge amounts of goods, medals, and all ages of troups yet, none of that matters for a new feature. Very lame. I can see the shards and other specific currency for Qi but what a waste for a guild not not even using the donated medals. Seriously, Nothing from your city helps at this time. Even worse is NO Great Building helps Qi. Why do we even use Great buildings anymore?

You can't yet. That ability will be added later.
Uber I don’t understand flotte’s first layout. She’s got the wrong orientation to the butcher. It’s not 3x4 it’s 4x3, ( whichever is the opposite from her design), so it doesn’t match her layout. Or I’m missing something fundamental.
Rotate it 90 degrees in your head then. It's made with the top of your city as the top right corner of the screen. I agree - I think the top of the city is the other side, but the one Flotte uses is kinda standard for layouts.

yoes it matter which side you buy expansions, or best to just choose 2 adjacent expansions

Eventually there will be multiple Incursions to choose from, so an officer is needed to make that choice. Currently though, there's only the one.

Great rewards, a feature that is more than just autobattling... it's not something that will appeal to everyone, but it's different from something like a GBG or GE
only the reward its fantastic to see that inno said we want to make it less time consuming meanwhile you get 12week champions quantum quazzy nonsense that eat your time

QI is the worst... did you notice that they DIRECTLY implemented pay to win in competetive gameplay now (it is competitive, right? if not it would be a very poor replacement for gvg tho) ... ingame currency plus quantum pass or whatever... and all your main city progress is irrelevant in QI and the QI rewards are just the next step in inflation aka nerfing the progress you made in the past and pushing you towards spending money on the new game mechanics... just another cheap cash grab 👎👎👎
...also now that the QI rewards are now the most valuable in the game, so with QI they pretty much nerfed diamonds (no function in QI) to make competitive players actually buy (the newly implemented) ingame currency instead of building diamond farms... Inno is nothing but a bunch of gready ******* at this point, screw these guys
So true. They almost lost their shit when covid hit. They hired a bunch of people then a few years later laid a bunch off. All the new crap they're putting in the game is to keep ppl from having multiple worlds i.e. diamond farms and spend more money. It's sad really, the game used to be fun. Now it's just greedy.

i so totally agree with you Adrian ... i don't need more pointless, time consuming elements to drudingly do, and i hate all the boring battles and fighting as it is ... and hows about inno look forward, and not take us all back to iron age beginning with nothing ... might as well just start another new city at least its more fun building a city how you want it and built just to do more fights ... Geez. really inno if you want to make more money out of us you got to do better than same old same old ... we need quick easy fun things along side our city not full time jobs !
