The song is 40 years old. She performed it soooo many times live. Even in her last tour when she was 70 and it was just as explosive an good as ever. R.I.P. TINA!
One of these days you gotta watch her from when she was with the horrible but talented Ike and their Soul Revue. You will not be able to look at anything except shimmying, shaking, sexy Tina and her girls, the Ikettes dancing like whirlwind and blowing up the stage with her explosive voice. A true, gorgeous, dynamic one of a kind force of nature. Thank you so much for everything Annie Mae Bullock / Tina Turner RIP. More Tina but check out all of her music not just the later years.
Se nunca ouviu essa música sendo músico, wie tipo de músico é ele? Impossível... mesmo que não gistasse do estilo musical ou da própria TT.... impossível nuncs ter ouvido...
Maybe if Wave heard the original studio recording with the background synths it would click. Though excellent in its own right, this version is a bit of a re-interpretation of the original; it has quite a different feel and is also being played quite a bit faster. If someone has only heard the original a few times in passing (it happens), they might not necessarily recognise it from this. Also, be patient with the younger generation listeners; recently at work I got blank stares from _most_ of my younger colleagues when I mentioned the likes of Led Zeppelin (maybe it is a sign I am getting old 😁)

You claim yourself to be a musician and have never heard of this before?
