- Just another day on the road. Today take you with me to Philadelphia. I show you all my favorite spots in Philly (from living there in the past) while Camper gets neutered at The Spayed Club and has to stay over night. We have a ton of fun, even do a cheesesteak comparison (+Vegan) & tell you how you can help animals in need. Plus, a Camper survey!

I know my rescue dog's bday, but we also celebrate her "Gotcha Day" - the day we brought her home 💝
Beautiful woman with a good spirit, and I love Prius. Life sucks when you spend 50% of time sitting on couch watching virtual world. You got the courage to go out and live the real world. Hats off!!

When you come on a trauma scene like that, I'd suggest you remind the helper DO NOT MOVE HER, unless there isimmediate danger let the paramedics do that. They'll check and apply a spinal collar and make sure to extract her without doing any harm to her. And medic will tell you the same thing, unless the victim is in really great shape.

Exactly how I went about it. December 25th my little rescue kitty came into my heart. That day is my favorite day because of her. The rest of Christmas pales in comparison. I’m glad you also see it as the day one in the new life is the birthday.

I remember the Liberty Bell when it was not covered by an enclosure.... long ago.
Wow...me too!!! I have a very, very old family photo of myself (& my cousins) as kids all standing around the Liberty Bell, OUTSIDE! It had a red rope enclosure & a sign "do not touch" but I remember that the edges were worn where plp DID touch it anyway!( sorta remember doing the same, as I leaned over rope like everyone else was doing to touch its edges.) It was an incredible day, I can still recall, there were actors on the street in front of Liberty Bell dressed in period costumes of the day it cracked. Obviously, enclosing this national treasure was necessary, but for those of us old enough to remember when it was not, is pretty cool! Glad u mentioned it in the comments, u brought back fond memories for me! Thank u!

My 3 dogs, 2 rats, and cat are rescues, they’re the best.

Philly!!! Omg !!! Oh, the fun I used to have in Philly. Great walking city. Always something to do. Lorenzo's --their pizza is soooo good!!! Forget the cheesesteaks. Philly has the BEST pizza!!!! There was another spot that I loved even more, but it closed😢. Hate it when mom&pop businesses close. Poor Camper!!! Awww he had the snip snip. He may need some peanut butter in addition to the bacon. Birthday: I think your dad was right about May being Camper's birthday, but maybe it should be May 6th. Your friend is doing some of the most noble work that can be done!!!! The segment made me cry. I've got 5 babies of mine own and they've all been the same way as you and Camper met, they found me!! It feels a little more special this way, more like you were destined to be together. More people need to understand how severe this issue really is, there are way too many NEEDLESSLY homeless animals that don't need to be and don't DESERVE to be!!!! If I could give them all a home I would!!! I love the fact that you care deeply about the whole thing, THANK YOU for doing anything at all to bring more attention to it!! I have a daughter and wife that both enjoy the good outdoors and have been troopers peeing in the woods as needed. So, last year before summer I found on Amazon the Tinklebell female urination device that they can use when out camping or paddling their SUPs. It allows them to stand and pee like a dude and doesn't require TP afterward. Give it looksee on Amazon.

They are hyper popular at weeklong music festivals. I have one and it’s always with me on long drives and hikes. It can be a bit odd to adjust but practice you know...

just watched your Philly video! almost broke my heart. miss philly so much. haven't been back in Philly for 9 months. worked near Reading Terminal market. now working from home office. Bathrooms at most drugstores Macy's Walgreens near city hall. most Wawas. lived in Philly East Falls then West Mt Airy. ditched my car started walking and using SEPTA. Great video once again! You did the right thing re Camper. Your folks are awesome btw.

As a native Philadelphian this video made me very hungry. Also I agree with you 💯. I am the 3rd owner of my rescue dog. I got him when he was 3 he's 12 now.
I went to Boston for the 1st time last yr, 1st time on the east coast (I live in Phoenix & o.g. from iowa) and this reminds me a lot of Boston...love those places...it's so cool to see a very different place than where I live now.

The Wawa has good food and free bathrooms. Almost everything that is NPS, lots scattered around Philly, also have free restrooms. Hotels also tend to let you use their bathrooms on main floors; if no one is staffing the front desk, I'll just walk in.
