As an amature clean freak I personally enjoy all the knowledge you give about what products to use for which situations and why. I have a friend who grew up in a family that owns a string of dry cleaners. He has taught me how to get all kinds of stains out of all kinds of materials. Now you are teaching me how to get stains out of carpet. Just more info I can use in my ever evolving effort to make it look like no one lives in my home lol... I'm kidding... mostly
That’s impressive well done. The problem that remains, in more serious cases, is urine right down into the pad and subfloor soaked into the plywood. That will create lingering Odours beyond the carpet itself. In that case the pad would have to be pulled out remove replaced and the plywood, possibly treated and sealed with a primer sealer prevent offgassing of odours. Yup you guessed it. I’m in the restoration industry.
@skillybiskuit12 doesn't work. My cat used an area behind the couch and I tried everything like that. In the end I ripped up the entire floor and there was urine down to the stone underneath.
I love that you do two passes, and you also actually wait until the stain is lifted to move on to the next section. a lot of carpet cleaning companies just do one pass, or they clean each section equally, even though some stains need a little more elbow grease !! very satisfying and I like your explanations. You take pride in your work and it shows ! love this channel just found it today lol
Thank you for the intro information. My cousin is a carpet and cleaning pro in Michigan. I usually ask him for help regarding stains, odors, etc. I’ve only ever seen the incredible results when he has rescued my floor surfaces, back in the days of having to live in rentals, etc. Truly amazing. Now I’m learning more so I’m able to assess services in my area. 😊
Ppl commenting abt removing the carpet, need to learn to read. The owners of the house want it cleaned enough to sell. The cleaner suggested to replace the carpet. But owners are not willing to make that cost. Owners just want it clean enough. If the owners inform the new buyers, they can possible replace it
I’m just in disbelief that they walked barefoot on that carpet and got into bed! I’m not the tidiest person by any means but I do hoover often as we’ve a dog. (I’m not too keen on dog hair in my sheets). Our current house in the States had lime green with yellow speckles, shag carpet from the original build in 1976! It was something to behold. We pulled it out and someone paid us for it, even though we offered it for free. They wanted it in their basement. We were absolutely gobsmacked. But they loved it and we were pleased for them.
I like the talking. Normally People don't talk in videos like this. Makes it feel like we arent connected. This is a really good side of this stuff we never get to see or hear about
Rinse agent is definitely important. Bringing the final pH down will prevent people (maybe babies or kids) from getting rashes if they’re ever crawling around on the floor. Final pH of about 6.2-3 is perfect.
I like you talking about products and methods. Having a separate playlist with no talking, just crisp editing of you cleaning is a good idea, too. I personally can't stand the noise of the machines, but some folks do.

Super satisfying to watch! Seems like the culture now is to tear up and replace carpet by default. This keeps some material out of a landfill and gives the next resident peace of mind that the carpet is nice and clean. I’m not in your area, but this video gave me a ton of info on what to look for next time I’m hiring this kind of service.
Yes love the teaching as to what you use and why you're the best carpet cleaner I've seen in a while very through which we had your company here in Cincinnati def learned alot
Excellent job cleaning and chemical selection. I used to clean carpet and upholstery for a well know company here in Michigan and I can assure you that there's nothing like returning trashed carpet to it's former glory. Well done. Your skills and knowledge are quite impressive. 👍🏽

Yes I agree, much of what I do in my cleaning is watching other companies use products and their methods. I love unchained it is the best for pet urine. CRB is a great tool. Don’t forget to pre vacuum first though.
Hello there Mr. Carpet Cleaner man . My name is Peter, and I'm a Vacuum tech. The people that Own the store where I work used to also clean carpets. I would very much recomend you to use a more Heavy Duty Vacuum Such as one of the Riccar Tandem Air Models ( R30D or R40P ), or a Kirby. Shark Vacuums are just surface cleaners, therefore you're not cleaning deep down and getting all the deep down dirt under the carpet pad. Plus the also tear the carpet fibers apart to beat the brand. Riccar & Kirby are the only vacuums that truly clean deep down .
This vacuum doesn't have a brush roll and I've never had any issues with them causing problems. I understand what you're saying. I've used a Kirby before. They work but are way too heavy. If you didn't see. We utilize a counter Rotating Brush, which is approved to clean carpets with which is what brings the deep soil up more. We also utilize machines with 600+ CFM and between 13.5-20 inches of lift. I've contemplated some other vacuum options. It's just not in the budget to test others out when they're all $500+ each for those. Thank you for commenting and for the suggestions.
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices the Riccar R40P is heavy also. More budget friendly heavy duty vacuums I recommend are the Riccar Spirit, or Cleanmax Pro Series
Great video. I do not like carpet, but I can appreciate the outstanding job u did on cleaning the pet stains and just the all-around everyday dirt that was embedded in the carpet. I really enjoyed your explanation of the cleaners u used and the method that u have for the cleaning ... good job !!!!
Thank you. I'm glad someone commented that. Most usually tell me how much better the video would be if I stopped talking. Lol. It's not really the purpose of the channel, but I also do none talking videos.
Forever welcome. I can understand I think about the ASMR videos that many love. I feel like videos are best with talking, learning is a favorite of mine and if I ever have any questions, I'm sure one of the videos may have the answer. @@HoweyJR_ Obviously because it's nasty AF to have pet urine stains in the padding probably down to the concrete with that mess. It probably still smells regardless of how well this guy cleaned it. The majority of those stains are coming back for sure.
We bought a house where the seller “cleaned” the carpet but we knew they had a dog we saw peed on the carpet. We decided to replace all the carpet because it’s gross and glad we did because the pad was disgusting. The carpet guys who were replacing it said there’s no getting that stuff out with a carpet cleaner. So yes, the carpet may look OK on the surface but the pad underneath can not be thoroughly cleaned.
If it's in the pad, yes, but if it's in the carpet, only it is possible to get it out. They install carpet. Not clean it. Of course, they'll say that. Chemistry has come a long way, but I fully agree. If it's past the carpet. The pad and sub-floor may need to be dealt with as well. This one needed to be replaced for sure, but when you're selling. There is no added value in putting new carpet in a home for the sale. At least not in our area based on real-estate agents. We always suggest replacement first when we see carpets like this. Thank you for watching. Have a wonderful new year! ✨️
It's a clean, for sale kind of situation. It absolutely needed replacement, but it doesn't make sense for the seller to do so because there is no added value to the sale of the home.
Thank you for the feedback. When I make videos, I try to have a combination of talking and non-talking videos so those who want to learn can have that as well.
I had my carpets cleaned by OXIFRESH they don't extract after using crv they just spray and crv and let it dry nothing was ever removed. So happy to see you do it correctly. Amazing results
"If" they used encapsulation cleaning products that is part of the normal, but pre-vacuuming, applying encap product, crb, and then pad extraction is needed. Sometimes, post vacuuming can be necessary as well. We had a client a while back that had this done with just product and crb and wasn't happy. After we finished our water tank was pretty dirty. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I hope someone in your area does better work for you next time.
I love learning how and why. I can not believe how good the carpets look. Really nice work!! Do you know anyone in Michigan that cleans as well as you do??!
I’m very interested in why you chose certain chemicals over others. I don’t clean carpets for a living but I use my Bissell extractor quite a bit to remove stains and soils from upholstery and carpet. Is there a publication somewhere that I can refer to on how to chose the appropriate chemicals? Thanks for the great videos!
It depends upon the situation. If the carpet is just soiled. You use an alkaline prespray and then rinse with an alkaline neutralizing rinse. Most soils in the United States are acidic, so alkaline is what helps suspend them.
If the stain is alkaline based, such as dried urine. You'll use an acid to help break it down, and then I'll use an acidic neutralizing rinse afterward. Another thing I'll evaluate is if the urine contamination out ways the soil load, I'll rinse with the acid. If the soil outweighs the urine or is only soiled and no real stains. I'll rinse it out with the alkaline neutralizer. Hopes this helps.
Our nephew own a pretty big carpet cleaning business. He has been pretty honest regarding the fact that cleaning the carpet is only the top surface. Everything under will re surface later. Hi 👋 welcome to the TopIV Thompson Pierce show 😅😂Thank you for supporting me to save this planet, no worries 👍 I'll pay for it when I get my paycheck check, God blessed us with this battle ❤we got this as a team, amen
Yes, but ideally its best that the carpet has pre-spray in it while running a brush machine on it. You may not really notice it, but a CRB on dry carpet may wear the carpet fibers out faster.
Thanks for the informative video. I agree with your comment about customers thinking their carpet is cleaned as your still using the CRB, I get similar comments too. Always say that I'm still doing the preparation and yet to actually clean their carpet. Great work, keep it up. You have a new subscriber.
Unchained is a molecule modifier which breaks the urine molecules so any urine Unchained touches removes the urine. Now the padding is a different story water claws work a bit but I don’t like them so once in the padding it’s there for good unfortunately.
@Raquel Nava sorry, my office staff has been out sick, so I wanted to check and see if someone talked to you. Can you do next Wednesday the 10th? 8:30-9:30 am arrival?
Great job looks 100% better then it did and no am not going to make the comment of the pee been in the pad or the subflooring due too I know the house is for sale and most people will renovate after buying the property due too it’s a little outdated
Someone who understands, thank you. Unfortunately, the homeowner passed away, and the family was selling the home. Usually, it's put in the sale that it needs to be replaced or a flooring credit will be applied to some sales. Cleaning it helps make the home more appealing to view it. Thank you for watching. 🙏
Main issue I've noticed with rotary extractors is that they have a tendency to overwet. Which is not great if the room has alot of urine or spills which can just wick back. I like them most for heavily soiled traffic lanes.
I always mix it before my machine has been on to long. That way, my water isn't too hot because of the o2 causing potential problems. Pure o2 and enzymes (most) shouldn't be mixed over, I believe 110 degrees. That way, you're not worrying about killing the enzymes and, of course, the o2 potentially exploding on in your sprayer of choice.
thats awesome deep cleaning and i was going to say if you upgrade your shark vertex to the new shark strados because it has new features like new powerfins hair pro technology and odor neutralizer and you can get the new shark hydrovac with it and a bissell proheat 2X revolution hydrosteam pet so if you go to any place that your truck mount is not good enough to reach like apartment homes and the bissell revolution hydrosteam and shark hydrovac for the hard floors and area rugs will help even with your truck mount can use with the rinse function so what do you think about that
We don't really have huge apartment complexes here. The ones we do have our machines are actually strong enough to run 300ft-400ft of vacuum hose and still clean affectively. I'll have to look that vacuum up. Thank you for sharing.
Well, you convinced me to look into the Shark. Watched a review on it, and it looks promising. I ended up buying one for both of our vans. It was about time for an upgrade. 😊
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices yep it was time for upgrade the shark vertex to the new strados but the motor pitch is bit loud that i watched some people review the strados and they have to call shark to maybe remake the new design of the strados and vertex but with hypervelocity suction and reduce the noise so the pitch is quiet
I love learning. Would have been okay with even more details of how the items work, why they work, maybe pull out some of the chemistry in how you order them.
Thank you, Aaron. I appreciate that. A lot of people say I talk too much, but then this video is my most popular one. It's kind of hard to dispute that. I have lots of videos on here where I talk about what I'm doing and why. I hope you find some value in them. Thank you for watching.
Most rip it out. I've had new home owners rip out brand new granite counters tops because they didn't like the color, so that's part of the reason why it's especially not worth it for carpets. You risk losing some money when doing it to sell your house. It's best to just give a buyers credit if they ask.
It's called ultimate all fiber rinse. You can get it from tmfshop.net. I'm assuming you are at least using a portable or truckmount? Otherwise, I wouldn't purchase it for use. Dilution ratios are on the bottles.
@Somera-op1sm I can't recommend using these products with that machine mainly because I've never used one and don't know if it would help or be a strong enough machine to be able to extract it out well enough.
Ghostbusters bro , keep on collecting ghost skills, and be a hero for this planet earth , dont give nobody the video ,and keep it till we put them back wher they belong , great job
Switched or half-hot outlets were popular in builds from 1957 to 1982. Because people wanted the switch to activate a comforting nightstand light verses an overhead boob light.

Absolutely, this job needed a lot of attention. Thank you for watching. How's business going for you?
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices well you know how summer is for us:)
Pretty busy.
this interests me it makes a huge difference to the carpet when its done
The smell before hand must have been crazy! Thanks for the video!
I must be a little desensitized because it didn't seem bad, but the UV light said otherwise. There were lots of hidden stains under UV.
I am watching because I want to start my carpet cleaning company and need to learn about it. Need your good advice.
Hi 👋 welcome to the TopIV Thompson Pierce show 😅😂Thank you for supporting me to save this planet, no worries 👍 I'll pay for it when I get my paycheck check, God blessed us with this battle ❤we got this as a team, amen
Is it possible for non carpet cleaner to own a CRB and use it?
Yes, but ideally its best that the carpet has pre-spray in it while running a brush machine on it. You may not really notice it, but a CRB on dry carpet may wear the carpet fibers out faster.
Yes your information helps
Thanks for the informative video. I agree with your comment about customers thinking their carpet is cleaned as your still using the CRB, I get similar comments too. Always say that I'm still doing the preparation and yet to actually clean their carpet. Great work, keep it up. You have a new subscriber.
Awesome job as usual!
Awesome vid, but to everyone watching, NOTHING gets urine out of carpets. They need replaced
False. But go off
Unchained is a molecule modifier which breaks the urine molecules so any urine Unchained touches removes the urine. Now the padding is a different story water claws work a bit but I don’t like them so once in the padding it’s there for good unfortunately.
Amazing family business both you and Adamdo a fantastic job.
Thank you! Hey, did you get scheduled?
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices no I haven’t heard from you.
@Raquel Nava sorry, my office staff has been out sick, so I wanted to check and see if someone talked to you. Can you do next Wednesday the 10th? 8:30-9:30 am arrival?
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices that’s ok no worries the week of the 22nd works best
@Raquel Nava is the 22nd ok? Same time?
I couldn't believe it when you got your shark hover out, the best hover I've ever had 😊
what a gratifying job
Mmmh, yummy. Very good job. I like your videos.
That is an amazing clean. Urine never dries completely it always ends up as a gooey mess and stay like that…..
What vaccum are you using here? In market for one and that looked pretty good.
I really appreciate your tutoring. Excellent job!
Thank you, Jeff! I appreciate your feedback.
Great video! How were you able to mix the enzyme prespray with peroxide (pure o2)?
I always mix it before my machine has been on to long. That way, my water isn't too hot because of the o2 causing potential problems. Pure o2 and enzymes (most) shouldn't be mixed over, I believe 110 degrees. That way, you're not worrying about killing the enzymes and, of course, the o2 potentially exploding on in your sprayer of choice.
Amazing work always 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
thats awesome deep cleaning and i was going to say if you upgrade your shark vertex to the new shark strados because it has new features like new powerfins hair pro technology and odor neutralizer and you can get the new shark hydrovac with it and a bissell proheat 2X revolution hydrosteam pet so if you go to any place that your truck mount is not good enough to reach like apartment homes and the bissell revolution hydrosteam and shark hydrovac for the hard floors and area rugs will help even with your truck mount can use with the rinse function so what do you think about that
We don't really have huge apartment complexes here. The ones we do have our machines are actually strong enough to run 300ft-400ft of vacuum hose and still clean affectively. I'll have to look that vacuum up. Thank you for sharing.
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices no problem and you can check out the shark hydrovac and the bissell proheat 2x revolution hydrosteam
Well, you convinced me to look into the Shark. Watched a review on it, and it looks promising. I ended up buying one for both of our vans. It was about time for an upgrade. 😊
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices yep it was time for upgrade the shark vertex to the new strados but the motor pitch is bit loud that i watched some people review the strados and they have to call shark to maybe remake the new design of the strados and vertex but with hypervelocity suction and reduce the noise so the pitch is quiet
when your doing the rinse are you also doing an acid wash as well or is that separate?
I love learning. Would have been okay with even more details of how the items work, why they work, maybe pull out some of the chemistry in how you order them.
Thank you, Aaron. I appreciate that. A lot of people say I talk too much, but then this video is my most popular one. It's kind of hard to dispute that. I have lots of videos on here where I talk about what I'm doing and why. I hope you find some value in them. Thank you for watching.
I can’t believe how dirty some people are. Your end result is incredible.
Thank you for the kind words!
I don't care if its pro cleaned i would not want to buy previously urine soaked carpet, you did a great job
Most rip it out. I've had new home owners rip out brand new granite counters tops because they didn't like the color, so that's part of the reason why it's especially not worth it for carpets. You risk losing some money when doing it to sell your house. It's best to just give a buyers credit if they ask.
Awesome job !!!
We need to buy that for carpet because our carpet is dirty and need to be cleaned
It's a CRB Carpet Cleaner, I was thinking the same thing, keep my carpets fresh & fluffy. But you still have to pickup the dirt. 👍
Please show acidic neutralizing agent, quantaty and where to get it.
It's called ultimate all fiber rinse. You can get it from tmfshop.net. I'm assuming you are at least using a portable or truckmount? Otherwise, I wouldn't purchase it for use. Dilution ratios are on the bottles.
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices I am using big green vaccume shampooing machine
@Somera-op1sm I can't recommend using these products with that machine mainly because I've never used one and don't know if it would help or be a strong enough machine to be able to extract it out well enough.
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices Can you recoment some nice products for me to clean pet or kid urin or pooped carpets or matresses?
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices Or something to finish bad odor and stains.
(These outlets were never marked in any way. You had to plug-and-find-out.)
