Street Lamps 'n' Snow -- just some sort of meagre document, a very simple record of a live performance, a kind of monument to one particular evening of warmth and anxiety inside the separate and essential world view of Eyeless in Gaza -- Eyeless in Gaza, two who are, then as now, intent on walking a path distinct from the usual pop/rock hullabaloo and overkill -- One snowy November evening, 1982, cocooned in Le Havre... and... happy.

I loved Eyeless in Gaza in the 80s and I still love them now. Actual as then. I love that voice!!!
I simply adore this band. I love the vocals,and the sound is way ahead of its time
I loved this band and everything Cherry Red put out for awhile. This band was ahead of it's time then and is ahead of now.

They walked into a music shop I worked at when I was 16. I was like Oh gosh (I had a couple of singles by them) ... sold them some plectrums if I recall!

Was and stayed one very original band!
Recall seeing them at a Coventry Pub The Zodiac with Bron Area supporting. Due to another gig on in town I was the sole member of the audience, but both bands played a full set.

@@magicxgarden for a while most of the lyrics where posted on their website. I think they then put out a book of all their lyrics, so the lyrics were removed from the website. Luckily, I'd downloaded most of it.
