When I was young we collected coins in those blue books. We checked all our change. Buffalo head nickles were still in circulation though fairly rare. Someone gave us a huge five gallon jug half full of pennies to look through and we found a lot of Indian head pennies. I still have the coin books. When we took a vacation in the Rockies my mother went into a bank and bought a lot of silver dollars (only possible out west then) which we gave as birthday presents for years. I still have a bunch of them.

Egg beater use vegetable oil. On furniture you can clean with Murphy's oil soap, not too much water on the wood, after thoroughly dry you can use lemon oil. Seems to freshen the wood and give it a nice sheen. Do not use any spray wax on it, as that is nothing but build up junk onto of good wood.

Whenever you win a storage, you show up with (2) trucks. One is your keeper truck, the other is your dump truck. That means your good stuff goes one way home, and your crap goes to donation boxes, resale stores,(the ones that will take the stuff), apartment dumpsters(called fly dumping, don't get caught), or the nearest landfill. I love the donation boxes, they can't mess with you as long as you don't leave it outside the box. Great for clothes, knick knacks, etc. Go through the stuff fast, and have no regrets.

The piece of furniture you showed in the part 2 of the Antique storage is called a Buffet cabinet. It's part of a dinning room set. You would keep your linens and some China or other pieces for the table. Candle sticks, linens, utensils etc. These pieces can go for hundreds of dollars

The gear at the top of the beaters on that egg beater was all the rage when it came out in the early 60s or late 50s. It gave smooth action via a bus the older metal gear. Its a rough way if dating them. You can look up the introduction of the new gear on Google or even dating egg beaters on UA-cam. I still have one in the basement.

It was too big an event to bring out the Sunbeam Mixer just to beat eggs for an omelet. The metal ones served well in their day, but I started out with one because the plastic gears were too expensive. Things were different. Hand held electric mixers were all I had for many years, but it took a strong arm to use them!

Great find. I hope you try and return the pictures to the office to try and find family. I recently found out that my nieces have zero pictures of themselves as children due to their parents defaulting on their storage unit. They both have families now and would like to be able to compare photos. They visited recently and we went through photos and gave them all that we had them in them. Storage unit videos kind of make me sad now that I know someone personally who's family lost theirs through no fault of their own. Much respect to this man who had some pretty awesome things. You get to be the stewards of those items now. Have been watching you guys for over a year now. It is fun to see your evolution.

I agree. I recently won an auction bid on a boxed lot that had one item I could see and wanted. When I went through the rest of the box I found a bunch of photos, and a letter that was written to a man by a woman who had given him up for adoption. It was amazing to read. But the MOST AMAZING part was one of the pictures having an older woman who I thought looked familiar. In the margin of the letter there was some barely legible pencil writing referring to that photo… and that woman is a relative of mine! There are under 300 people in the whole U.S. with my last name, and I’m related to most of them. I’ve done some genealogy stuff and turns out the woman in that pic is a second cousin of my Dad. Dad passed away in 1968, so it’s a real challenge to explore that side of my family. I’m still searching for the folks in that photo. The auction house wasn’t interested in helping me connect with the seller of the box. ☹

The turquoise necklace could be worth $100. Love all the antiques and vintage toys! The first piece of furniture is a buffet. I have one that looks similar. I bet you could get $250 or more for it. Mine is mahogany. Yours might be too. The coins are a great find! So is the old View Master! I loved how you were jumpy about finding a mouse. It made me laugh. Love you guys!

Lots of old costume jewelry is worth big bucks. A lot of high end designers made costume jewelry and signed their name on it. Others may not have names but dealers can recognize patterns and tell you what it's worth also. Google lens may not have anything comparable so as I said before go check with dealers in an antique store and they can give you price ranges. If items are marked Germany or Italy they can be worth $ also because of era's they might be from.
You're finding great stuff. Reminds me of when I use to buy storage lockers. It excitement of finding each item and then finding what they are worth.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned that certain items are worth more money on one coast than the other. Where it something might sell on the East coast for $50.00 because there are more of them then on the West coast they are hard to find and could sell for two to 10 times more. It's really interesting so you need to do your homework before you sell. Hope this helps you.

Those medical machines - Hairy Tornado mentions a company you can sell them through as you can’t sell on EBay

One thing Locker Nuts does is empty a tote on a table and then load another with its contents sorting as he goes Sounds obvious but it is a methodical way of checking what is in each tote rather than assuming what is in it based on the majority of the visible stuff As you know when packing things up people may stuff things in totes where there is remaining space rather than what it says on the box label
I’m sure you do this off camera anyway but as my granny used to say if you do the prep ie having a sorting table and rubbish bins you only need to handle the items once

WD40? Can I suggest that, given that it’s a food prep item and may end up being bought by one of these people who like to live like it’s 1960, you consider using a food safe mineral oil instead. Just for safety’s sake.

The white and silver round medal that said made in Italy is usually Argento 800 (Silver)made in Italy .
Normally one would receive it as a gift when one has a baby and one would put that over a cradle or those big Coach Carriage of course to protect the baby.
    Have fun you guys!
    Arrivederci!

The old coins in the jewelry should be individually checked, lots of old $2 and $5 gold coins were made into jewelry when owning gold money was made illegal. I was just going through my late wife’s jewelry and found coins made into jewelry. We had been married 50 years and I had forgotten all the jewelry that I bought her over the years. Trying to remember when I bought it for her before giving it to our daughters and daughter in law.
I watch your videos because I love seeing the fantastic relationship you have with your wife. My wife and I had so many similar interests and it was fun sharing them with her.
