You two are better entertainment to me than TV. I have had so many good laughs watching you in this video. I have watched your channel for a long time, and I am never disappointed.
Aside from my Mom's 1960s cook book with all her calculations for "if 7 people are dining, use this much, and then use this temp so all these foods will come out at the same time" I have a cook book last updated in 1942 and one with no copyright. Did you know that none of them have recipes for salmon patties? And they call for far less amounts of sugar. The banana bread I make is actually bread, not a dessert type thing. Old recipes ftw!!!!
You can get stuff to remove the marker from the inside the sunglasses display. The lamp needs a new post and light socket and it can be fixed. Ask your dad. The decorative table can be refinished and sold For the clothes wash with borax and soap and the smell will come out. I did it with my mums clothes after she passed and donated them.
I love the two of you, definitely my favorite people on UA-cam. Drama free and I laughed through this whole video. Thank you for being yourself and sharing your work with us.
I’m cracking up!! 🤣 🤣🤣 “Bar keepers friend, your momma’s cousin”. 🤣🤣😭💀 “Oh don’t look on the eyes of this thing” 🤣🤣🤣 49:53 Your penholder is an eyeglass holder. It’s fluffy on the inside to protect the lenses from scratches.
My Gram taught me that distilled vinegar is natural disinfectant for laundry (also softens water and improves effectiveness of detergent/can use less) I add 1 cup per load. My mother was a horrible smoker, it removed the smell from my clothes. :))) So glad your fans donate towels, blankets, etc, to local shelters and rescues
I have a whole backstory in my head. The older stuff belongs to an older woman named Doris. Doris was a single mom and worked as a waitress for waffle house way into her late 60’s when her smoking caught up with her or she had an injury and she moved in with her son and his wife so they could take care of her. She insisted they put her stuff in a storage unit because Doris is a tough old broad and she wanted to go back to living independently as soon as she was on her feet again. The family moved into a bigger house and decided to put their odds and ends that they didn’t need but didn’t want to get rid of in there with Mamma Doris’s stuff.
Pyrex and Corning ware are made by the same company. They both have some value. My dad worked for the company. They are so usable. Unless you drop it, it lasts for years. I love that pie plate. When I had my family at home, I made deep dish pies. My son still wants banana cream pie for his birthday and he will be 61 on New Years Day. Still using the same deep pie plate since 1960.
You guys are literally the ONLY UA-camrs I watch that get me CRACKING UP with your videos! It feels good to laugh and learn. Thank you for being authentic and silly! Love you both!
That wooden chair with the high back is a pouting chair for toddlers If I remember correctly . In the 80’s when the country decor theme was everywhere you could find these ….most just used it as display with a country doll are bear on it .
The clothes that are any good can be washed in Arm & Hammer laundry detergent and it will get rid of smoke smells. Had a house fire & that's how I saved my clothes.
I just had to comment. I stumbled across your channel a few days ago and have been bing watching since. Y'all have wonderful senses of humor and since I've been pretty sick for awhile y'all have cheered me up. Thank you so much for being wonderful people ❤
To get smoke smell out of purse or pocketbook put baking soda inside purse and place in tote or bag with more baking soda let sit a couple of days. To get bad odor out of clothing add white vinegar in wash rinse or in fabric softener tray and wash it gets nasty smells out like smoke sweat etc.
Try the orange slice cake. It's great and the longer it sits in fridge and you keep putting the orange juice mixture on it to keep it from drying out the more amazing it gets.
Nice old pie plate, like the ones my mom had. I also have them they are at least 75 years old. My mom passed about 12 years ago at 92 and she had those pie plates as long as I can remember.
The pan you thought was a pan with the handles upside down is a saladmaster lid. I bought an entire set from an estate sale. I am a huge reseller and deal with these all the time
it is a butter churn. Maybe newer. Lamp can be rewired. The half table is old. Somebody painted it. Big glass jar is kinda old - I have mardigras beads in one and seashells in my other one. That is a saladmaster lid for the bottom. The display cabinet can be cleaned or painted.
Great video. You two work so well together. You need to find a local furniture refinisher. Many of the damaged and abused pieces of furniture can be refinished and saved from the landfills.
Those blue bowls are actually mixing bowls and they could be crystal bowls so I don’t know what company they’re at, but the corning ware has become very valuable. Different models.
The Saladmaster pan with the handles upside down, or so it seems, is actually a highboy lid for the big pot. It’s so you can put something like a whole chicken or a small turkey, or a big roast in, and have a high lid on it. The handles are not upside down. It just fits on top of the big pan.
Butter Churn for your Booth.. Glass Jar at 17:33 mark would make a wonderful Terrarium.. You could wash towels & blankets & give them to Animal Shelters.. Those Mario pants could be washed & sold as well.. Christmas girl ~ did you mean "Corn Tassels or Silk" instead if husks???
If you know anyone that refinishes things, that small table they may like. My sister has a booth that she sales all her things that she has refinished. Most of those things come from rental properties or apartments where the tenants left everything, so we get called to remove it all. I’ve had lots of good finds with those. But most of the time the places are trashed😟
Binge watching catching up on ya alls videos and this one is cracking me up! "Do you ever think about what you do for a living? Think about what just occurred there." Had me rolling! Love watching you both!
The lamp is super easy to fix. The bowls are not crystal. Nine West is one of Kohl's house brands. Love the candy jar. LOL Thomasville makes good furniture. That piece may be a lower line they have. The golden rose pin that was in the porcelain trinket box is called "The Christmas Rose" and most likely dates to the 60s. They were sort of a "thing" back then. The "fancy pen holder", near the end, is actually a glasses holder for your bedside table. A strange unit, for sure, but you'll do okay with some of that stuff. Some off the recipes sounded amazing!
I'm a crafter and I found your page tonight. I'm positively drooling over all the stuff you're calling "not worth anything". If you were near me I would give you $40 for that cabinet the child drew on. I guarantee if I was near you, you would make your $219 just from my shopping
To clean the inside of the pans, use a mixture of 50/50 water and white vinegar in a spray bottle. Let sit a couple of minutes. This takes the blue tinge and the white residue away. Magic!
That very fancy "pen holder" is actually a holder for reading glasses. I have exact same one. I bought it from Regal Greetings & Gifts several years ago.
We got a storage unit once that😢 had a deer freezer in it. This was in July or August, so it was really hot out. Got the freezer home and opened it to find one thing inside... a turkey. Oh, the smell!! Bought some charcoal brickettes and put them in the empty freezer for a couple of weeks, then scrubbed it out with bleach. It smelled fine after that, and we sold the freezer.
You can grind coffee beans or herbs/spices in that little electric grinder. Julian kept me laughing tonight. Love your videos. Wish I lived close enough to meet you. Hope your new bigger booth is very successful !!
3:22 I recently found out that a “cache pot” is a container you put a flower pot or planter in. You could call this a “Rustic Primitive Hand-Painted Galvanized Metal Cache Pot.”
My bedroom set from 1970 was Thomasville furniture with laminated tops for easy clean up of spills in a child's room. No need to use furniture pilish on the top too. Moms were tired of dusting everything every week.
I think I would take the top off of that red cabinet at the end and replace it with a thin slab of quartz or marble. Actually a decent locker Julian and Kayla. Well done!
Julian thanks for the laughs today! I feel our humor is from the same book. Keeping being you. I know we could be friends you guys and us would have a great time together....
I looked up porcelain Asly lamps, they can be anywhere from $45 - $1250 I saw something similar. Couldn’t that glass wooden case be cleaned with Mr. Clean eraser or painted? Someone would buy it on Marketplace. The red wooden shelves with glass doors also could sell on Marketplace. You may not like them, but I’m sure someone will. Great deal on the storage unit 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
I cannot tell you how excited I was to see that this video was almost an hour long! Thank you so much. It's great. And y'all are so funny. I did raise my hand about the joke being funny. 😄 So love you guys.
Thank so much for watching!
The spout for the watering can is in the bucket with it!
The spout for the watering can was right beside it in-the bucket the cups and saucers were in. Little JB Weld was I’ll take care of it
Yayyyyyyy! Sooo excited! Love these! ( ;
I wanted to get that little Jesus key pin! If you get this message how do I buy that from you? Loved the video, you guys crack me up!
I was yelling the spout is right there lol
I raised my hand, shook my head, yelled at the screen that spout is “right there!” And laughed. Thank you!
You two are better entertainment to me than TV. I have had so many good laughs watching you in this video. I have watched your channel for a long time, and I am never disappointed.
The spout for the watering can is in the bag the can is in! It can probably be soldered on. It's too cute to throw away
I agree it would look good but even nice without
I kept yelling at the screen “Julian the spout is right there!”
I was shouting at the screen I then thought I am shouting at a screen they cannot ear you lol
The spout was in the bag
I was yelling at the tv..there’s the spout!! It was such a cool painted can.
I was doing the same thing. Saw it immediately!
The first lamp is not broken. The bulb socket just needs to be pushed back in again. They come apart like that so you can re-wire them if needed.
Just what I was going to say.

The small chair with heart cutouts is called a Pouting Chair for timeouts for disciplining children🤗
10:35 Recipes sell. People buy card files full of clipped and handwritten recipes and printed family/church/club cookbooks with limited circulation.
I have a ton of church and local cook books from my trips cross country. Guess I better get them listed
Aside from my Mom's 1960s cook book with all her calculations for "if 7 people are dining, use this much, and then use this temp so all these foods will come out at the same time" I have a cook book last updated in 1942 and one with no copyright. Another hour of throughly enjoyable entertainment!!! Better than anything on TV these days!! Can’t wait for another storage unit!
This unit really feels like they had a few units that didn't sell so they bundled three or four together and sold it to you
Use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to remove the pen/marker from the cabinet. Launder the clothing and bedding at a laundry mat. Then you can donate.
Add vinegar to the water and it will help remove the stink.
Or he can just sand it out.
I do estate Sales for a living and I always tell people I go thru people's drawers for a living. 😊
😂😂😂😂
😂😂
I love the two of you, definitely my favorite people on UA-cam. Drama free and I laughed through this whole video. Thank you for being yourself and sharing your work with us.
The display case is not that bad - you could probably sand off the scribbles without much difficulty.
Julian was on a roll cracking us up with the jokes in this video! Kayla you must always be entertained!😍
I’m cracking up!! 🤣 🤣🤣
“Bar keepers friend, your momma’s cousin”. 🤣🤣😭💀

I second the vinegar soak in the washer first, then a coupe of washes. For future reference❣️You two are hilarious.

I believe that the pot that's not marked goes upside down on the pot that you put it in that's why the handle is the other way
@@tatianavonegrous5002 you are 💯 correct
There is no markings because it's a lid
It's for canning or baby bottles depending on the rack.
Great find!
Made in America 🇺🇸
The clothes that are any good can be washed in Arm & Hammer laundry detergent and it will get rid of smoke smells. Had a house fire & that's how I saved my clothes.

That big jar I would have as a mini aquarium with cherry shrimp in and loads of plants, it would be so cute!
Just a little sanding on the wooden case and it will look good as new.
To get smoke smell out of purse or pocketbook put baking soda inside purse and place in tote or bag with more baking soda let sit a couple of days. To get bad odor out of clothing add white vinegar in wash rinse or in fabric softener tray and wash it gets nasty smells out like smoke sweat etc.
i’ve used half and half water white vinegar to get smoke smell out of curtains carpets etc
For a couple bucks go to hardware store and buy the lamp replacement, then you have a set
If reselling fails, you can always be a comedian!! LOL
Love your videos!!
The pan that you said has the handles upside down is a domed lid for the large Salad Master Pan. Love your videos. Very informative and entertaining
glasses case>pen holder lined so your glasses don’t get scratched
I love when yall do storage units. Yippee.
Try the orange slice cake. It's great and the longer it sits in fridge and you keep putting the orange juice mixture on it to keep it from drying out the more amazing it gets.

The Pyrex bowls are a lovely colour 😊
We love the storage units with you and Renee!
I love y'all. Love your sense of humor.
table is old, put a nice coat of paint and in the booth :)

Wow I have the whole set of those pots from my mom. They were here wedding gift back in 1956. I use them everyday. Had no clue they had value

You two are so entertaining. I 😂 through the entire video. Thank you 😅
The bowls are just pressed glass unfortunately. The lamp can be fixed, very easy and cheap fix. Sometimes it will go right back together!

Brass butterflies, Wooden cattails and some of the pictures are Vintage Home Interiors. I have the cattails and use to have the butterflies.

I think the pan that was unidentified was a miracle maid pan. Looks like the one i have and it is not a pan but a lid to the pan.
I didn't get a good look at the shoe house bank but it could be a replica of the old shoe house in york county, PA. Built. In 1949 by Haines shoes
The flowered vase is Tracey Porter depending on size 15-25
To clean the inside of the pans, use a mixture of 50/50 water and white vinegar in a spray bottle. Let sit a couple of minutes. This takes the blue tinge and the white residue away. Magic!
Use regular detergent with either one cup of vinegar or one cup of baking soda to get the smoke smell out
I am glad to be back. Looking forward to watching the video.😊
The big red cabinet is a restorers dream.
Maybe a marble top or not. Jest strip it and refinish it.
Now it's $1000
Blue corningware should be checked out. Sometimes they are worth a lot.
That table can be refinished . I have one similar. It had 13 coats of paint my dad refinished it. Love it I have had it for a out 50 years
The spout was in there, in the bag with the vase and flowers!
Magic eraser will take all of the crayon and marker off of the wooden cabinet. I'd love to have that wooden cabinet
Glue the spout back on the hand-painted can, it was there!
That very fancy "pen holder" is actually a holder for reading glasses. I have exact same one. I bought it from Regal Greetings & Gifts several years ago.

I believe the pan that didn’t have the Saladmaster logo is a lid for the other pan you pulled out after. You said it had an upside down handles.
yep! makes it a dutch oven.
The flower vase is beautiful
My bedroom set from 1970 was Thomasville furniture with laminated tops for easy clean up of spills in a child's room. No need to use furniture pilish on the top too. Moms were tired of dusting everything every week.

Sunglass case was probably free from a store closing or something like that. I bought several jewelry displays when a department store closed.
I LOVE the butterfly candle holder.🦋
I'm glad you found some good items, it is always fun to follow your adventures. Thanks.
Julian thanks for the laughs today! I feel our humor is from the same book. Keeping being you. I know we could be friends you guys and us would have a great time together....
Paint the little table white and sell it. It has cute scalloped edges and someone can decorate it anyway they want to.
i think it’s vintage and cute as heck
That cabinet would make a great display case for your booth.
The salad master pot that isn't marked is a lid for the pot it was resting in. Turn it over, lol
Check inside the box for the Salad Master valves
Corningware is from the 90’s .Put the wood chair in your booth . It’s a great time out chair. My youngest child was born 1993 . You guys did great
Thomasville has a good reputation
That file box will sell on EBay. I listed a vintage one I found at the bins that looked similar and it sold in a week!
You can use the pitcher with the missing spout for flowers. Put some Reynolds wrap on the inside in the hole and dirt won't come out.
I think I saw the spout to that can in that bàg you had the pretty hand painted vase in . Love your channel.
I would attempt the colored glass in the tall wood..with combination of windex.. baking soda n vinegar with soft scub.
Lamps can be restrung with new fittings or even pulling cord tighter.
The broken lamp looked like it just needed a new lightbulb socket
I looked up porcelain Asly lamps, they can be anywhere from $45 - $1250 I saw something similar. Couldn’t that glass wooden case be cleaned with Mr. Clean eraser or painted? I'm dying, Is that Crystal???? Crystal, so much fun! 🤣You guys are so sweet! Great unit!😊
I cannot tell you how excited I was to see that this video was almost an hour long! Thank you so much. It's great. And y'all are so funny. I did raise my hand about the joke being funny. 😄 So love you guys.
Recipe boxes definitely sell. Yours maybe $20 plus. People love to have the cards.
The thing you said was a chair….i think it is a step stool! You can hold on to the handle and step up!
Someone probably mentioned it, but in case.. I believe that was a lid for the Saladmaster, which is why there wasn't a mark on the side.
Saladmaster dome lids do not have saladmaster markings, but they do have the same handles.
Yep, turn the "pot" upside down and the handles will look proper!!!
That little table is something I would buy to paint and put in my booth. They sell well.
You two are the Best --What a great couple ! Can I buy the recipe cards that were in the recipe box?
