This last 10 year of kids was bad already. Now they expect top dollar. I’d train you for $15, but $20. I don’t hire them anymore. Just do it by yourself and buy better tools. My customers agree.

@@Jr2728 I live in the Bay Area. Meals before today were like 12 something. I'd put money on it that combos don't pass 20 bucks. It's still a lot when you have a family, but by yourself it's not a huge deal, and you shouldn't eat out that much anyway

rents can only go up 8% a year unless the tenants move out then the landlord can charge the new tenant whatever they want. Unless it's a single family home then rent can go up as much as the landlord wants or if the building is less than 15 years old.

I think they want fast food places to shut down. Think of the health complications people have that live off of fast food. I've seen people that look fit and healthy get a job in fast food, and a year later they look unhealthy.

During the slow hours, We only need a few employees.. So as soon as it gets slow after lunch rush... 2/3 of staff will be sent home! Dinner Rush too, as soon as its over and we get caught up... I'm going to be sending most the staff home! Thats per my District manager... But i agree with him!
Won't matter if you get a better quality/educated person flipping burgers because of the new wage hike. Sales will take a huge dump because people can't afford or refuse to eat at a drive-in.

If you are getting minimum wage it is because you are not a valued employee. Your boss would pay you less but the government will not let him.
Yeah, raising minimum wages never works out. However many times it takes for certain political parties to understand this and make the same mistake over and over again, let them consume each other. 😉

Of course the prices will go up…at least by 25 percent. My husband bought a western bacon cheeseburger at Carl’s Jr, just the burger no fries or drink and it cost him $9.84. That’s ludicrous. However, the price of that same burger alone will now be about almost 11 dollars. This is what voters with zero understanding of economics wanted. Enjoy what you voted for, Californians.
