This is a great tutorial for some complicated screens. They should have given a simple bracket order option with limit & stop price. This is what happens when people who don't trade, design the screens for traders. If we forget one step like day order vs GTC, it can have a totally different outcome.
@shortthestrike can you set an OCO by using percentages instead of dollar amounts on the web based TOS? Like take profit at 20% and sell at 10% loss? Thanks!
The instruction for the Option spread OCO is incorrect - you have to Buy the Call option to close it out - not sell it - if you had originally sold it…
@@shortthestrike That makes perfect sense, thank you for the info on that. What are the pros and cons of each? Are you aloud to detach a screen and have multiple screens on the web version.
Hope this helps!

Can the OCO also be applicable to European style index option like the SPX or XSP?
I have set this and it immediatly closes the entire trade??? what am I doing wrong?
My TD screens look nothing like your screen WTH
I think that is because this video is on using the Website for TOS instead of the TOS app.
My think or swim looks nothing like this, why is that.
This is for the web version of thinkorswim, you’re likely on the desktop version
