Wow Ross i’m red-green colorblind, more on the red side. I never thought to change the candlestick color and this is gonna be so helpful. I was already looking at the white candle chart for the reds and I was like wow this looks amazing. Thank you for the idea I never thought about it.
Ross I have been a day gambler for 5 years and was very successful up around 120,000 a year. Held a stock so long that I was sure would bounce back and lost 45,000. I haven’t traded in 2 years now because of the emotional dread. I’m ready to get back in and was wondering what scanners to purchase. "Volume profile" usually refers to a different indicator (vertical volume indicator). You are using a regular volume indicator.

Hey Ross - Great context and explanation. I think you one of the greatest at this. If there a jack knife candle and had to bail. The confidence in trading the stock might not be there anymore. And just staring at the stock as it move higher, hesitant to jump back in. Especially trading with a small account. Can you overcome this with experience? Price action is everything with news. More referring to large sell orders, or hidden sells. Think I struggle with this and overcoming draw down. Would have 5 straight green days, then one big red day wiping out all the profits for the week and even more. Any tips you may have. Still struggling to overall thread water and stay above water. Still need to turn the corner and trend upwards. Have been trading like 6 months, which is a relative short time when considering the time, it takes to be consistently profitable. Thanks for the videos, lots of learnings.

Stop orders above pullbacks i feel are the best because your only in thectrade whenbthe price comes back to you which means you have a better chance of a continuous run.

I had some from about a week ago at 2.78 but I sold it when it was slow earlier at 6. Then I ended up buying more at 5.90 and sold for 6.25, then did the same again 5.90 to 6.25 sold and then it shot up to 7 🤣 typical. Nm least I took some good profits
@@kilastyles2856 Nice!!!! i actuslly got in at $6 & held through $7. Dangerous route but it paid off at the end of the day. Set a limit order at $7 once I saw it regain through consolidation at $6.60/share.

My ROTH IRA is with ETrade. Do you think their streaming tool has the same capabilities of applying such filters (00:28:00) as you provided in this video?
Also, will the streamer monitor the entire trading ecosystem, NYSE and Nasdaq, Identifying any securities satisfying the filters?
