When you're young, it is a fine line between idealistic & realistic. You're probably doing the right thing and follow your passion, try new things, with plenty of time to "readjust" if dream projects don't work out. Regret is something you think back about when you're much older, recalling what one "could of, should of, but didn't". Living life is about the choices we make when we're young, and it can often change one's life trajectory, for better or worse. Good luck. All the best.
