Why is no one talking about book called “The Art of Seductive Power by Juliet Arden”? Just look at that energy, it's exactly what those celebrities embodies!
when the video talks about how being silent and not speaking as much can be good because you don't risk loss, I disagree on this part because rejection is something you should learn to face. If everyone is silent or even too afraid to talk first or be vulnerable with someone, you wont face rejection but instead be safe with the walls people put up. Rejection is something you should learn to take if you want good confidence. Let your walls down and be human with me
I do not agree because actually oversharing can be very dangerous this is because we humans only know our thoughts and intentions but we dont actually know anyone elses so we rely on their words and actions to tell us whats in their head or what they’re true motives are. So when you overshare too much of your life not only are you giving too much of yourself away but people may misunderstand your intentions this is why we must think before we speak
@@obeyme7588 yes this part is true thinking before you speak, and oversharing can bad if you share the wrong things to the wrong people. Society is contradicting because you are expected to be yourself to build true connections with people by putting yourself out there, but at the same time not being too much of yourself or you can come across as weird. It can be risky and so i can see how you think. I feel that not being secretive doesn't necessarily being quiet, but filtering what you say and what you don't in a way that doesn't "overshare" our vulnerabilities but make our strengths shine.
this is not about not speaking up or being afraid of rejection. I think it's more of strategically shuting up so you can benefit from the situation. You are silent about your intentions so nobody can sabotage you and you can achieve your goals more easily without other people's intervention.
In a simple sentence: To follow all the laws naturally, make yourself and other people feel free combined with adding some authority to your life and others
I love how you explain these laws in your own words and with your own examples instead of just quoting the book. Most other videos I've seen that talk about this book are not this creative unfortunatelly I really want a part 2 now 🥰
Oh my, my political science professor told us to read this book but nobody really paid attention to it, now I see this is a great tool for self improvement
7:02 - You know, I have a deep need for authenticity and a deep need for power through influence. I find myself strategically creating my public appearance to make it gain the most public power; rather than being authentic. Oh, I kind of hate the first one... in my first job, I was pretty overlooked by my supervisiors, but I still took my time and did some effort to get knowledgable in the job. I was not the fastest so my numbers weren't best, but my knowledge was something the team I was part of could used very well, also networked to get more core info, most of people recognized that including my friend, but my boss didn't and he kept on playing favourites with my friend, denying me the oppurtunities even when I asked for them for him... I was not even trying to outshine the manager yet he lacked the human touch when communicating with those people I worked with, stood up for the wrong goals and overlooked something that could been put into a better use, I had a good skillset for my position but I could be better if I was allowed to be paid for doing my thing, but I wasn't beacause this person failed to recognize it. Made me feel like I was triggering something in him without trying. Sometimes thinking I should have tried harder to get what I wanted but if I was demanding it who knows if the manager wouldn't start seeing in worse.
I enjoyed your work on this for so many reason. You shared a real life resource we could revisit on our own. The pop culture visuals were relatable. It’s cool to see what a channel could look like without the owners face. And I loved the call to action. Very open ended and inspiring. ❤
Hey I appreciate you sharing the 48 laws of power. It's so helpful to me. I love it that it says 'Court attention at all costs'. That's so true. People in your life bring about opportunities. My friends describe me as naturally charming and likable, and my friends bring about so many opportunities and blessings in my life. I understand it's important to network and attract opportunities in this life.
I totally agree that knowledge like this isn't inherently good or bad-it's all about how we apply it. The comparison with money as a tool really puts it into perspective. Great content!
I love it that the thumbnail is from Wolf of Wall Street. I absolutely love that movie and I think it's important for me to go back and re-watch how she got the guy wrapped around her finger. Men conquer the world, and we conquer men!
@Yourgoodwitch I disagree, it's primarily manipulation tactics with only a little bit of actual good advice. For example, one of the "laws" is to do kind acts for others to get them to lower their guard, so that you can take advantage of them and they won't expect it. That's a d * ck move if you ask me. I do think it's a helpful book though, so that I'm not naive and I question EVERYONE'S motives.
Actually he wrote another book, way too similar to this is called "The art of seduction" and talks a lot of things about history and the big seductor of all time like Marilyn Monroe, Cleopatra, Cassanova
