Thank you for your videos. I've got a bit of a different scenario. My wife's 2015 Ford Fiesta air wasn't blowing at all. I first replaced the fuse, but it still didn't work. Next I replaced the relay, and it worked on all 4 settings. I took it for a short drive and the air was working fine. I parked the car in our garage and then restarted it to double check if it was OK, but and once again the air wasn't blowing at all. Do you think I should I replace the resister? Or maybe the blower is bad? If it's in the wiring I will take it to a professional mechanic! Thanks again.

So if it's not blowing any air, on Any setting at all, what most likely needs to be replaced? Thanks alot btw

what mostly fails us the resistor I would change this first because us the less expensive part. and very simple to change on this car

@@joelxgdsame, no air whatsoever. Was told to replace the blend door actuator and that would do it but numerous online sources say that has nothing to do with air blowing just vent control modes...
If air isn't blowing at all does it come down to a failed Blower motor? That's a pain to replace behind brake pedal assembly

Would this fix work for a vent that won’t turn on at all? When starting my car it clicks behind the glove box and the dial doesn’t work at all..thanks for any info

@nextdoordarts3770 that sounds like your heater door recirculation actuator has stripped its gears. It's a cheap part, under $30usd and is accessed through the glove box. It takes 30 minutes to swap out. Good luck!

I lhave this problem that when I place it on 1 and 2 and it doesn’t turn on, unless, I place it on 3 or 4. Another thing I noticed that it’s also blowing hot air instead of cold air when I turn on the AC.

    • @JVFIXLLC

You could have a temp blend door issue too very common to fail.

I just changed that part on my own just now. It solved one problem. Now it turns on for sure on the lowest setting. My next problem to resolve is getting it to throw cold air.

    • @JVFIXLLC

that could be a sign that It can be going bad. the resistor is not to expensive is like only 20 bucks so I would definitively would change that first

then you will need multimeter to see what is missing in your connector power or ground and also could be a blown fuse it needs testing to find out. and also it could be the resistor even if it's new

U need to check your blend door motor for the mode door to see if it moves and also check the linkage to it. Sometimes plastic could break over time.

Just to confirm, What exactly needs to be looked at if the car isnt blowing Air at All on Any setting?
I replaced the little green $5 fuse in fuse box for blower motor, and the Relay next to it shows good voltage.
So is one of these resistors what could fix not blowing Air on Any setting?
Your video showed it blowing on setting 4 only.
