      It clicked for me. Identifying what tick he turns then minus one tick solved all my timing problems. I was also rushing moving on the mage hand which messed my timing up even more. This is all covered in the video, I'm just dense.

    Hey video game bot, when ever I try to run the head like you do olm hits me in the middle when I run across is there a reason for this or am I doing something wrong?

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  6 місяців тому +1

      2 possible reasons:
      Youre clicking 1 tick late. Your character needs to begin his attack on the exact same hit that olm turns his head. For example, if he turns on tick 2, you need to click on tick 1, and your attack will go off on tick 2.
      OR your staff is on longrange. It MUST be on accurate. Long range does not work.

    Is there a difference between a splash and a 0, will the head go to middle on a 0 from the right too?

  • @JFat5158
    @JFat5158 Місяць тому +1

    So when you splash, what exactly determines if his head goes to the middle or not? Its messing me up as i usually run too far to evade his head when he instead turns to the left instead of the middle.

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  Місяць тому +1

      Its semi-random. The best way to counter this obstacle if this:
      if you splash from the right, always run left and "assume" he will turn mid. if you see him turn left (instead of mid) you quickly double back on yourself and change directions. there is only a 1 tick window of reaction time.

    If I am off cycle and run all the way to the left side, and Olm turns their head to the left before the tick number (or i miss the timing), would it be better to wait for the tick number again before running to the right, or should I be running to the right side right away and try to correct the timing there?

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  5 місяців тому +1

      In your example you are saying you run left (to try to reset his cycle) but mess up from the left side? If that's the case, I suggest running right, and try to reset it from there. No point standing still and tanking a second hit on the left side (or potentially a nasty spec, like portals)

    if you're going to use a visual tick plugin at least get the ticks right. you're attacking on tick 1 you're also clicking the hand at tick 1. "if I run on 2" no you're running on 1. You move the tick before the head turns. nothing here is done on tick 2. This video was not properly explained.

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  Місяць тому +1

      @arnoldmarke please allow me to correct you, friend.

  • @arnoldmarke

    You're attacking the tick before the head turns. Which was tick 1. not tick 2. you kept saying "if I run on 2" which was incorrect. You run on 1 so you dodge the attack on 2. You attack on 1 so you dodge the attack on 2. you don't run on 2. you run on 1. If you're going to use a visual tick plugin at least pay more attention to what's being displayed.

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  Місяць тому

      @arnoldmarke I think you might be confused, friend. If he turns on 2, we need to click on 1, so we begin moving/attacking on the same tick that olm turns his head.
      If you run 1 tick earlier than olm turns his head, you will find yourself in his field of view (because he hasn't turned his head, and you ran straight into his vision a tick early) and you will tank a hit.
      Tldr: you always run on the same tick he turns his head. In order to run on the same tick he turns, you must click your mouse 1 tick BEFORE he turns.
