    1) Better to keep Dry Yeast ( both active and instant yeast) inside the freezer ( ice compartment of the fridge) .
    2) Normally , they have expiry date on packets for almost 12 to 18 months.
    3) Normally, 2 Cups ( 225 gm) of flour need 3.5 gm of active dry yeast. Active dry yeast can be substituted with 25 % less instant yeast. ( 25% more dry active in place of instant yeast)
    4) Please do keep in mind, large amount of yeast doesn't make your bread good. in fact it can spoil the taste. So, don't over dose it.
    5)As per our opinion- Veg and Non Veg are concept for things that are visible from naked eyes. These yeasts are eukaryotic, single-celled microorganisms classified as members of the fungus kingdom. Something similar to bacteria that present in curd or in our gut too.
    These yeast are used in various vegetarian products too.
    1) इन दोनों ड्राई यीस्ट को फ्रीजर ( जहाँ बर्फ जमाते हैं ) वहाँ रखना चाहिए ।
    2) पैकेट पर अक्सर 12-18 महीने का एक्सपायरी लिखा होता हैं।
    3) 2 कप आटे/मैदे के लिए 3.5 gm एक्टिव ड्राई यीस्ट के जरुरत पड़ती हैं। एक्टिव ड्राई यीस्ट को 25% कम इंस्टेंट ड्राई यीस्ट से बदला जा सकता हैं। उसी तरह इंस्टेंट ड्राई यीस्ट को एक्टिव ड्राई यीस्ट से बदलने के लिए 25 % ज्यादा ड्राई एक्टिव यीस्ट उपयोग करे।
    4) यीस्ट को बहुत अधिक मात्रा में उपयोग करने से ब्रेड अच्छी नहीं बनती हैं, बल्कि इस तरह से कई बार स्वाद ख़राब हो सकता हैं इसलिए यीस्ट को ज्यादा उपयोग करने की भूल न करे।
    5)हमारी राय के अनुसार- वेज और नॉन वेज उन चीजों की अवधारणा है जो नग्न आंखों से दिखाई देती हैं। ये यीस्ट यूकेरियोटिक, एकल-कोशिका वाले सूक्ष्मजीव हैं जिन्हें कवक के रूप में वर्गीकृत किया गया है। कुछ इसी तरह के बैक्टीरिया जो दही में या हमारे आंत में भी मौजूद होते हैं।
    इन खमीर का उपयोग विभिन्न शाकाहारी उत्पादों में भी किया जाता है।

      @@will-kf1li Aap apne pani ka temperature check kare- pani ya toh thanda hain ya kafi garam. Pani ko luke warm se thora kam garam yani jisme aap apni finger asani se touch kar sake bina koi discomfort ke, hona chahiye. Ek bar sahi pani ke saath sahi amount me chini dal kar activate karke dekhe- activate karne ke liye use warm place par hee rakhe. Yadi fir na ho toh sakta yeast ki power kam ho gayi hain.

      You need to work your own setting for replacing dry yeast with instant yeast. But, normally dry yeast is replaced with 25% less instant yeast.

      We don't use soda/ yeast in our pakoda. Use little curd and 10% chawal ka aata to make pakoda crisp and soft.

      Oh fresh yeast hain. usko gungune pani (bas thanda mara pani bahut halka garma jisme aap apni finger dal sake) me tukde kar ghol kar fir us pani se aata lagte (gundhte) hain.
      1 tsp Active dry yeast ke liye (lagbhag 3 to 3.5 gm) = 2 tsp sugar pani me mila kar usme 50-55 gm fresh yeast ke tukde karke dale. (Pani utna ho jisme yeast ghul jaya na jayda na kam aapko andaz lagana padega) Ghol ko 5-10 minute rest karne de. jab wo ful jaye to aap upyog kare.
      Bhature ki recipe me jitna doosra yeast hain uske hisab se apni fresh yeast ki matra nikal le.
      Kitne aate me itna yeast milana hain uske liye pinned comment ko check kare.

      Aapne kaun sa yeast use kiya- yadi active dry yeast ho toh usko pahle active karna padta hain- yeh mandatory hain. yadi instant dry yeast ho toh use driect flour me dal sakte hain. Yadi yeast active nahi hua toh aap us aate se roti ya poori bana le usse bread nahi ban payegi.

    Can i activate instant dry yeast in lukewarm water. For better results. My yeast is bright star dry yeast. No mention of active or instant. But its tinny like hiwvu have mentioned in the video

      Small roundish=active dry yeast=activation is must.
      Smaller than roundish, longish (tiny) = Instant dry yeast ( you can add directly to flour/dry ingredient)
      We have never done it.but, if you want, you can do that.

      Yes, they are different.
      Yeast = a type of Fungus (fungi)
      Lactobacillus = Rod -shaped Bacteria responsible for curd formation.

      Next time try using little less quantity ( if recipe require 1 tsp use 3/4 tsp) just rest it for some more time.

      Kisi bhi do ko proof karne me kam se 30-45 min lag hee jate hain. Yadi thanda weather ho to aur time bhi lag sakta hain. Aapko dough kitne der rakhna hain yeh aapki recipe par bhi depend karta hain.
      Yadi bhatura/kulcha /naan bana rahe hain- 30-45 mins rakhe.
      Breads/buns - min 1 hour ya dough double ho jaye tab tak

      Yeast gives fermentation. Fermentation/fermented product is really beneficial for health, Source of vitamins B. Curd is also kind of fermented product.
      Bread, Poori, Bhatura= Yeast
      Baking Powder = leavening agent by releasing gas/air to Cake ( similar desserts)
      Anything excess is bad, even food too.

      Aap yeast se kyu khaman dhokla bana chahti hain jab eno salt se asani se ban jata hain.

      These can't be done at home unless you lab set up or manufacturing unit . But you can make wild yeast at home and it can last up to infinity with little care.

      जी हाँ आप यीस्ट उपयोग कर सकते हैं पर घोल में खमीरा उठाने के लिए आपको उसको गरम हिस्से में जैसे गैस स्टोव या हीटर के आस पास ही रखना पड़ेगा
