Making the most out of the Light Wind !

- I'm currently in Las Terrenas, gearing up for a quick and enjoyable light wind session. Although I truly miss the thrill of winds over 25 knots, I'm making the most of what I have.

Let me know if you find interesting this kind of content? 🙌
I think your english is great. I'm an advancing novice/struggling intermediate and find that watching you work on things and sharing thoughts is really helpful. Including your acknowledgement of right of way is also great. I can see the pre-load pop and edging technique, which is what I'm currently working on in Lake Michigan area where choppy conditions are almost always present..... so softer knees.
Your instruction along with a couple of others is the best instructional content available. I don't subscribe much but do so for those who produce top quality, which is 2-3 creators. Most others aren't detailed enough.
Amazing, thank you for your support :))
This "live session" concept is awesome! It's very inspiring to watch your session progress tricks after tricks, and with your style and flow. I was thinking about your session during my last session and I had my BEST session yet! I don't think it's a coincidence, I think it gave me some kind of flow that I did not have before. I literally went from struggling to board start and falling every 10meters in my prior sessions, to going 100+ meters AND upwind after watching your session! 🤩 Seriously it was like another person was on that board.. very odd (but best feelings ever haha). So thank you! And please make more of them!! 🙏
Haha nice to hear that my video inspired you to be more smooth and successful in your sessions, I will do my best to do more of them as soon as I have some time to do so 🙏🏻 at the moment too busy with settling my kiteschool
That "front roll floating" trick at 9:48 is soo cool!
Thank you 🤗
This is pretty cool Petar! 🤘🏼
Thank you Pablo :))
I agree. This format is excellent for us mortals. We enjoy your progression and can learn much from you. There are enough pros showing us their best of tricks.
Nice, I'm glad you enjoyed, more to come :)
very nice !!!
Thank you :))
great video ,honestly you should do more of these live commentary videos with minimal editing. to explain how to do tricks or other scenarios. not many people doing it in this way
Great, I'm happy you like it, I will keep on doing many different videos with live commentary :))
Hehe this was a funny way to be with you on water, please more Petar
Great, I'm happy you like it :))
Hello Petar, great video and good inspiration.
I think doing the same tricks on your right side and seeing the kite movements would also be very nice.
Thank you, I will keep it in mind for next time 🙏🏻🙌🏼
This format it's usefull !!
Maybe also some basic unhooked tricks in this format....
Cheees.😊
Ok, I will think about it next time.. but I'm avoiding unhooked moves because I had too much problems with my knee and it still bothers me sometime.
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar ok ok I understand I'm a doctor....😊
Hello Petar,
Its nice to see you having some fun on the water, I thoroughly enjoyed it and its so motivational and inspiring.
I really enjoy all your videos as they go to great length explaining everything anyone wishes to know / why you do it the way you do it, and what happens when things go wrong.
Could i please ask you to do a waterstart tutorial video as most people usually get stuck there for long time including myself.
Its the most frustrating part of the sport and at this stage is where most people sadly give up.
There's a lot of waterstart videos out there but am adamant that yours will be the best because you go the extra mile explaining in great details the physical side of the sport and that's what makes it so easy to understand.
By the way don't worry about your english, it's perfect with great sense of humor. 🤣🤣🤣
Hey mate, thank you so much for your support :)
Actually at the moment I'm working on a water start tutorial for which I hope it will be out sometime in October. It is going to be a very different water start tutorial and will be done in 2 episodes, so lots of work a had of me :)

Many many many thanks, can't wait. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hello mate, I just want to inform you that unfortunately the Water Start episode will not be ready so soon.. I have a lot of work around my school in Las Terrenas and I have big difficulties to find enough time to finish my WS episode. Until I finish it you will be probably already jumping hehe
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar
Hello mate, thank you for the updated, appreciate taking the time to let me know about the delay.
My boardstart is improving every time i go out, and am now riding consistently both directions NOT upwind yet will be working on that from now onwards, it's difficult in my area due to waves and rocks instead of sand 🤣 am very happy with my progression in the past 6 session considering how long and how much i struggled to get there.
I'll be using a gopro camera from now to view and analyse to try and connect any mistakes.
Keep up the good work and hopefully will see you at your beautiful spot sometimes.
@@BADASSBASSBOY69XXX sounds great, keep on going and hopefully see you one day in Las Terrenas 🙏🏻🙌🏼
Really nice man! Did you use a waterproof mic or were you sure you didn’t het wet 😉 Looked less then 15 knots to me by the way
hehe Yes, the mic should be water proof until 1 meter water deep.. if I don't drown the mic should be fine :)
I wish I can kite like you .... Since weeks I waiting for wind in Germany
ohh I hope for you that it will come back soon, for me 5 days already was too long to wait 😅
Didn't get wet! True pro
hehe looks like :)
Do you use the big 55cm Bar for the 15?
yes I use Navigator bar 50-55.. From 1 year ago I use the big bar with all the kites, also with the 8m kite. I used by accident once 50-55 bar with 8m and it was an amazing session and just after the session I realised that is a big bar, so like that my kite is faster in loops and I loved it :)
please, make a "how to backroll-salto-transition"
I'm sorry, I will not be able to do this tutorial so soon, as I'm making sure to cover everything you need to know before learning backroll salto transition
I really want to find somewhere for a kiteboarding holiday. Where would you recommend that's relatively cheap?
Vietnam is the cheapest place I have ever visited, and it's great for kitesurfing all year long, but the best months are from December-May.
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar Awesome, thanks :D
Not very educational, but cool to watch. It would be interesting to see how you approach different wind conditions in this format!
Great, yes I definitely want to do this kind of video in 30+ knots :))
Ja estive aí este ano em Março
nice, and did you enjoy it ? :)
How long are you in LT for?
I have been in Las Terrenas for 5 months, and if everything goes well with our kite school in here than I will be here for many more years to come :))
Oh nice! This is where I learn't and I go down every Winter. Maybe we'll cross paths. Love you vids! 🤙@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar
@@adrianconte1005 Nice, see you one day soon :))
That's not light wind 3 knots is light wind
