Definitely a nice bar, but as someone who does not need an auto-unwind bar (yet), the best thing about the Navigator pro and all the modern bars is that shops are selling the old (but still excellent) models at much discounted prices :)
I tried Click bar, Navigator and COS bar from Cabrinha. IMO the best one is the COS, follow by the Click. While riding with the Navigator I tried to release the security more then one time and it didn’t open. Did some online search and looks like the Navigator as some defect on the security… you have to be lucky but better don’t joke with security
Hi, Petar! Tell us about your kiteboard and the fastenings (stiffness, design, bottom shape). What angles? Do you zip them up tight? I'm looking forward to a video about this!
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar I just gave you a topic for a new video. I myself know everything about boards well, because I’ve been skating since 2000. You don't have to do it at all! :)
exactly, who ever bought the Navigator PRO bar before watching this video might have got the defected version of Navigator PRO, as I did 😅but got the replacement of the CL QR. From now on who ever buys the Navigator PRO it should come without any defect :)
depending for what discipline you want to use it. I personally love to use the one 50-55 from 8m above, as I'm looking to have quick kite loops. but normally is recommended to use 50-55 from 10m above, and from 9m below 45-50
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar Thanks!! I have a 9 and 12 kite, and the 12 is the one that I use the most, but I was afraid that the 50-55 would be big for the 9
I wouldn't add knots into lines because it can decrease the strength of the dyneema by up to 80%.. the steering lines probably won't break but it's best to find a different solution :)
Exactly, definitely we don't want to add knots on the lines of the bar. On the lines of the kite is definitely safer as the line is very thick so there is very small chance of the line getting damaged.
Adding knots on the 3mm steering leader lines are absolutely no issue. 3mm dyneema is way over spec in terms of breaking strength. In fact, bars from many different manufacturers have multiple knots on the steering leader lines so you can untie or tie knots to adjust leader line length.
I am very disappointed of the new Pro bar. I work for a North School with 50sails and 50Bars… My personal Bar was unusable after 2weeks. The Chickenloop plastic opened up exposed the rope and the wearing was so bad that since 1month I am trying to find a replacement in Brasil. Of course I brought 2 more backup Bars. On the second Bar: after not even 1month the plastic covered centerline where the savetyline runs through has detached from the QR and at the depower trim piece. So it’s sliding freely up and down. We glued the top but one can’t glue the bottom part to attach it back to the QR. So the bar is getting stuck if I pull it all the way down because the plastic tube is dis attached from the hole it was in before…. 2years of redesigning and testing…. It’s a bad jocke!! Hope they fix all the issues I mean how difficult can it be😮 I would buy the next generation if they improve the quality😊
ok, I`ve been using the Navigator Pro Bar for 2 weeks: the front lines became a bit longer like yours. You told the bar worked perfectly for you. I thought all 4 lines must be equal sizes.. do I need to switch the knots on the back lines to make them equal with the front lines?
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar No, it doesn't. I released 1 knot on back lines (standard) to make them a bit longer, so now I have similar settings, shown in your video at 2' 32'' By the way: did you remove the additional knots you had made on the back lines after 1 week?
Yes visually is the same, but you shorten the bar for 2.5cm on each side, together 5cm smaller the bar is. You will feel that the kite reaction is slightly bit slower than when you have it on + setting.
I fly evo dlab and I do foil big air. I hate click bar, so I have used a trust bar. Just bought this navigator pro, will sawap pigtails and add a V split. Hope it will arrive soon
Hey Niels, glad to hear that you are happy to see me :) I'm doing fine, thank you, at the moment very busy with settling the school and the team here in Dominican Republic, Las Terrenas.
Haha they are playing with line length. I'm not the fan of north bars, as they are bulky :) prefer duotone trustbar, core does nice one too. But pro bar looks to be much better than normal one.
Buy the Navigator PRO: infinitysport.si/en/kitesurf/kites-and-bars/kite-bars-lines/12570-north-navigator-pro-control-system?aff=2

Yes, definitely good to have the option to buy normal Navigator bar for less money :)
I use Duotone click, and I can’t imagine using a bar without auto unspin ever again so I will definitely go for navigator pro
Good choice 🙌🏼

boogie loop at las terrenas at 45 seconds?
Yes, I was with the 10m Reach and it was around 18 knots, landed the boogie just on the limit hehe
Which size of the bar should I get?

I’m sorry to hear that. Just to clarify, did the CL open because that small metal piece popped out?

Yes theoretically all 4 lines have to be equal length. Now when you ride with the Pro bar and you pull the bar completely, does your kite back stall?
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar No, it doesn't.
I released 1 knot on back lines (standard) to make them a bit longer, so now I have similar settings, shown in your video at 2' 32''

@@lomaleks1332 I was having a knot on the back lines of the kite, and yes after a week I removed the knots.
I didn't get the bar width settings: when I flip the toggles from + to - the bar, visually, remained with the same length. Could you clarify, please?
Yes visually is the same, but you shorten the bar for 2.5cm on each side, together 5cm smaller the bar is. You will feel that the kite reaction is slightly bit slower than when you have it on + setting.
My sessions are 50% looping 50% untwisting front lines. So all the down sides worth this upgrade
ohh yeah, now you got yourself the unwind system bar?

This is the technology of Core
that's nice :) on core bar you also have to make sure to perfectly untwist the front lines?
@@kitesurfexperiencebypetar in core is high v bar so it’s different, I don’t know if I need to make sure untwist the front lines
