If we're talking longevity, Knee has to be the goat. Arslan's been dominant, but not 2 decades dominant.

@@zer0cx110EVO Japan didn’t exist during most of Knee’s gaming career. The FGC wasn’t as big. Worldwide tours just became a thing recently. Kind of unfair to judge Knee off of brand new accolades when he is partially responsible for the growth of the competitive scene
@@jimdino77 still there in the USA Evo. Arslan has accomplished more in a shorter period of time. Arslan also won local TT2 and T6 tournaments. 5 times Evo champion and twt champion. Arslan is now regarded by many as the GOAT of Tekken
@@jimdino77if the FGC scene wasn't that big then Knee should have more chance to win the EVOs with lesser people to worry about. If you spend 20 years to get promoted to assistant manager and someone in 5 years reach the manager rank in a company it's not your longevity but their skills and talents.
No excuses IMO knee had the longest chance to pin down his Evo streaks over the years with no Pakistanis to worry about until 2019.
So it's actually unfair to put knee at the top when better players were absent.

Tekken 4 say what you want. Tekken 4 has some of the sickest combos people have found in recent years using the stages in that game.
Justin again casually dropping an episode anounced with a legendary guest.
There was a time when JDCR was kinda invincible, around Tag 2.
Every final was like JDCR vs Saint.
JDCR vs Saint (EchoFox finals) existed T7 season 1 not Tag 2, Tag 2 was JDCR vs Knee
He was godlike even in early T7. He was winning so much that there was a tourney where the trophy was already marked with his name and then he lost unexpectedly and it was a really awkward moment for the winner to lift up the trophy lol. I can't remember which tourney it was, I also remember Knee losing to JDCR most of the time then and people were saying he can't beat JDCR anymore.
Robot JDCR was insane. Always thought that he would stay dominant until the very end of Tekken 7 but the Dragunov nerfs hit him hard

Even thought they definitely know that Arslan now is better, also Atif is so damn scary.

Hopefully Knee catches up to them as i love to see Knee VS Arslan grand finals again.

It’s official: canonically, Heihachi is the strongest character in the Tekken universe because he doesn’t have the devil gene and yet due to his martial arts abilities is still able to compete with Kazuya and Jin.
If that’s the case then why Heihachi wasn’t able to beat Jin in T3 and T4?

Japanese are known for being racist. It's clear now that Arslan is the GOAT because he's completed Tekken before Knee. People say Knee is Goat due to longevity, but they don't realize that Knee played for decades and still couldn't complete TEKKEN. Fanboys need to learn to let go

I honestly did not know Harada acknowledged Knee because everyone keeps saying he wants Knee to lose. Unless both are truths which is definitely possible.
Tekken is always been popular in Pakistan from the early days of arcade like in 2000s. The only things holding Pakistani players back were the visa issues and the lack of awareness about these tournaments as such, otherwise, they would have dominated international Tekken then as well. But that being said, this shouldn't take away the fact that KNEE is any less of a legend; he achieved a lot and definitely played a vital role in inspiring many current Tekken champions (including Arslan and Atif).
Tekken 5 vanilla is my favorite Tekken as well, you got great taste Justin

Remember Arslan Ash has won 5 EVO's in a short time, and he is the only Triple Crown FGC player ever. However, even in EVO 2022 where Arslan came 3rd, he was 9th, in KOF. That is an incredible fucking achievement to come in the top ten in two main stage games at EVO.
First the criteria used to be the number of Evos a player has won to give the title of best tekken player, but now as Pakistani player has won more, criteria switched to popularity. It's funny 😂

For Tekken has to be Arslan Ash, Ash might be the FGC Goat in general. He's coming for Wongs 9 EVO"s. Even though some of the EVO's Wong won were in dead games, and some of those EVO's had 300 or less competitors, while Ash is winning EVO's with 1500 or more. Tekken 8 EVO had more than 4500. ASH might be the greatest talent the FGC ever produced when he is finished. To put things in perspective, Atif Butt crushed everyone at EVO, and lost to ASH.
