They're from a town about an hour away from me. Probably the most well known thing to come out of this area , and they get undeserved shade. They just make good , catchy songs. They never claimed anything more.
I have to agree. The music is generic but it is catchy and not bad. Your not going to get any masterpieces like with Tool but you will get a decent song just to have playing. People hate on it because they are elitist and anything mainstream they are against.

they were an amazing band but the era of their genre has passed and the fans has changed, or some kids grew up thinking songs from their time are old, and everything got old.
@@bcherry8953 I will say, Chad Kroeger made an amazing track with Santana though called Into the Night. His voice is so golden on the track with the instrumentals. So he has the potential IMHO, especially when mixed with other bands and people
