- Going back to basics for a beginners coding guide, I'm writing a complete breakout expert based on a published strategy including tips and optimisation.
Part 2 of 8
The strategy was published by TradePro and is a time range based breakout trading USDJPY with 3 stage take profit.
As a beginners guide I'm taking things slowly so I have to break the tutorial down to multiple videos. This is the first part and there is a link to the playlist below. I will add further parts to the playlist in the coming days.
The code is for Metatrader 5 but is almost the same for Metatrader 4 and I'll try to point out the differences as I go in the videos

Hi . Can you do a video or replying explain how to code indicator for zone to have a color but the color /shaded area is transparent. Making the zone have a lighter look . ?
im new to the whole EA scene, wanted to get your opinion on this. Is it possible for an ea to make 5-10% per month consistently risking 0.5 - 1%? or do i need to trade another strategy either via manually or another EA?
The EA can only automate your trading strategy. If your strategy is profitable the EA will be profitable

If you don't have the source code you should go back to the developer.
