How you determine your leg in and leg out candle, how many candles in basing?
Thank you! Me personally mostly visually. Has to be a clear shape. Leg out: explosive. Base: I like a few candles (3to6). Leg in: not really relevant. Leg out is the most important.
Thanks Bernie for putting the effort into making this video on youtube, I've been trading on and off since the late 90s and find your never to old to learn something new. The area of trading I'm still trying to figure out though is if institutions are trying to push a price lower and they control 90 % of the market why would the price then go higher? If an institution wants to buy a stock between $160 - $165 that's as high as its going go, So if it passes this price level who's the person(s) buying? There'd have to be another institution willing to pay $170 to make it go higher. Which makes me wonder why if these institutions are prepared to buy at a higher price why they'd want to push it lower for?
Just check the higher timeframes like Monthly. If you find great imbalances there, this is usually the bottom or the top.

Hello, glad I found this channel, I've been watching several of the videos and finding lots of value here. The course also looks interesting mostly for the community aspect. But I was just wondering, in this video it's stated that if there are more buyers than sellers and vice versa, that price will go up or down because of this. What if say, there are more sellers than buyers, but the buyers orders are much larger than the sell orders? Would the buyers not absorb all the selling and still be able to push price higher? Just wondering your thoughts on this. Anyways, thanks for the great content again!
Thank you for your comment! Yes you are absolutely right. The “more” and “less” is a reference to QUANTITY of orders in general not “people” of course. One big fund can absorb thousands of retail traders…

Hey, love the content. Have found it very educational. You mentioned that most of the major market movements are from the institutions, in that case, why wouldn't retail traders just wait for these big movements to happen and catch the trend, or even catch the reversal when the price returns to the demand/supply zone? Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks
That’s the whole point right…institutions move first and we follow…we can never be first. So u got the concept correct.
I think this is where psychology and trading your edge comes into play. Most retail traders are either greedy or fearful and don’t have the patience to wait for a institutional demand or supply zones since they are at extreme ends of the market & price most the time will tap this area just briefly. Giving a small window of opportunity for those patient traders who wait for the set up. Either the set up is there or it’s not. Alerts at these key areas help to solve the problem of looking at the charts all day and only when the opportunity presents itself. Instead of squandering your mental energy looking for what you think the market is going do is wrong mindset. Right mindset You react off what the market is telling you hence a supply or demand trade. SET AND FORGET

What timeframe would you recommend to base suplly and demand zones on? you said in globex video to look for zones from 8 to 11am right? but what if there is older untouched zones ? how much a zone should be touched to became invalid ?

Our tools only work on Tradestation. Wherever you place your trades is up to you.

Supply demands zone, I would define as the area that a strong move initiates, which you should always look for the last counter direction bar. Inside its lower timeframe, we can see the ranging condition you described (but may not look perfect)

Thanks, nice content as always and most adorable kid ! If you have access to some 1 min intraday data, I can check this approach (and any strategy by the way) empirically for you if you want. I mean using statistical methods like ML and sig tests in order to find the optimal solutions and accurately answering the when questions.

You Zones have to be covered by HTF Zones 4h zones have to be covered by daily etc.

Does this supply and demand/unfilled orders apply to the forex market? Because it is said that the central banks move the prices of currencies and there's no buying and selling pressure when it comes to currencies
Of course it’s applicable to all markets in the world. And yes there is “buying and selling” pressure.
Sir I would love to ask what is the difference between a willing buyer or seller and an active buyer or seller, and what is the equivalent of a willing buy or sell order in the financial markets?
Willing means you have the INTENTION but you are not filled yet.

Cause you said intention does this mean they haven't placed order to buy or sell or they have and they haven't been paired to equivalent opposite?
