That statement doesn't make him God. If we assume "I AM" is the name of God (which it isn't) Jesus basically just said "Before Abraham was, God." That's a no brainer. Has nothing to do with Jesus though. Now if it said "Before Abraham was I am that I AM." Then you'd have a case. And even when you compare the Greek for this verse and the Greek for the verse in Exodus, they're not the same statement. Jesus never claimed to be God.
@@sub7se7en Is correct. Jesus' statement does not coincide with Exodus 3:14, because there God did not say “I Am who I Am”, but rather “I will be what I will be”, that is, he would be the liberating God of the nation of Israel. Here he was not asserting his eternity, but rather his omnipotence as sustainer of all, including Israel. But the affirmation that God makes of himself in Isaiah 43:13, in this case, he affirms his eternity, and this coincides with John 8:59. "Also before there was a day, I,...". The Jews had the Old Testament, including the book of Isaiah. Surely they had already read this passage from Isaiah and remembered it when Jesus made the statement and compared the two statements. Hence their judgmental reaction when they picked up stones to try to kill Jesus (John 8:60). You are also right that Jesus never claimed to be God. Explicitly, Jesus never said “I am God”. But he also never explicitly declared “I am a man,” even though he was. But Jesus claimed for himself attributes and prerogatives that only belong to God. For example, he forgave sins (Luke 5:20; 7:47-48). In these two cases, none of those who had their sins forgiven committed direct offenses against Jesus. Unless he was not God, there would be no reason for him to forgive these sins, because here, no one offended him directly, therefore, the sins were against God, and he being God, forgave these sins. And not to mention the several times he “modified” the law (Matthew 5:21-45), given by God to Moses on Mount Sinai (Exodus 34:1-28). Something that no “mere” mortal human being, not even the holy angels, have the authority to do, as the law was given by God himself to Moses. Only the author of the work has control over it. Jesus being the author of the law, could and can change it, alter it, modify it and even revoke it. Something he did. Some laws he modified (Matthew 5:31-32, 38-42, 43-45), and others he added or emphasized (Matthew 5:21-30, 33-37). Jesus is God, but while he walked here on this earth, he made it very clear that he was in submission to the Father, because the form he took (Philippians 2:7) was not for him to glory in himself, but in everything he glorified only the Father. Even when he used his divine prerogatives and attributes, he expected confirmation from the Father (John 5:19), and he did not glorify himself, nor did he desire the glory of men, but only that of the Father (John 5:41 ; 8:54), and all must honor the Son as they honor the Father (John 5:23).

Bruh... the ram that was stuck in the bramble that God sent to Abraham was symbolic for Jesus having the crown of thorns and being sacrificed instead of us🤯. Now that is steadfast love.
I've read that story a few times and the correlation didn't occur to me until I saw this video! Truly amazing how everything, every element in the Bible connects back to Jesus.
What then would you say when you realise, that on that mountain Abraham was speaking to second Person of the Holy Trinity who they sometimes refered to THE angel of God, or word of God. The same entity that spoke to Moses from the burning bush.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Something else to notice is that prior to Abraham attempting to sacrifice Isaac, Isaac asks him where the lamb is for their sacrifice. Abraham answers with the below verse. Genesis 22:8 (KJV) And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. You'll notice however that the one Abraham offered was a ram. That's because the lamb Abraham was talking about was Jesus. Genesis 22:13 (KJV) And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
The crown of thorns in the burning bush was a nice touch. Interesting note: The Sea of Galilee and the surrounding lands are well known to be pretty legendarily haunted. The reason the Apostles were freaking out under the assumption Jesus' approaching was a ghost was probably because they grew up with stories, or possibly even their own sightings, of things exactly like that. In fact, the stories of the Demoniacs that Jesus and the Apostles encountered were also in that same area, indicating that, at least in some respects, the men's fears were well-founded, as was Jesus' insistence that He transcended such assumptions - and by extension, _so should they._
@@zanir2387 Mt. Hermon, the tallest mountain in the area is considered to be where Lucifer and his demons landed when they were cast out of heaven. Many of the era considered it to also be, at the time, the current "highway" for demons to enter the earth.
Someone had a theory once that maybe the reason we don't see many ghosts these days is because they were way more common before Christ died and resurrected to save most and forgive most who already died.
Notice how the thorns trapped the lambs horns, and the thorns on Jesus head? This is also written in the old and new testament. It's amazing that there is no coincidence in the Bible. None at all.
@@Psalm22_16 it doesn't mention thorns, just a "ram cought up in the bush by the horns", and that image is just an imagination of an artist, because there is supposed to be a "lamb" (Genesis 22:8) and then Abraham and Isaac got to the place and there is a "ram" (Genesis 22:13). And i thought Jesus becomes a lamb that Abraham prophecied, but wasn't there yet, but that image in the animation is probably accurate. "Abraham rejoiced when he saw My day" - probably in that moment it was about Jesus taking place on the altar instead of Isaac(and all of us)

I knew the typology of Abraham’s ram but its horns being stuck in the thicket has a deeper level of meaning to me now thanks to that stunning visualization/callback from the burning bush. Thank you.
Here's something else you may or may not be familiar with: As the anime depicted, the language used for the burning bush, in my understanding, implies a thornbush, therefore you have a symbol of the curse overlaid with fire, a symbol of Yah's divine judgement, and yet the bush is not consumed by the fire. You can see an image of mercy and grace towards sinners.
Yes, it is often overlooked because of many poor translations, that Jesus says "Fear not, it is "ego eimi"" when He comes to them on the boat; because it's strange to translate literally, but it's hugely theologically important. Jesus saying, "Fear not, it is I am." is as grammatically peculiar in Greek as it is in English, because He was specifically invoking the Divine Name. It's frustrating that most translations will not do this passage justice, saying "Fear not, it is I." really misses the point.

Glory, Honor, blessings, thanks and praise to the Lord my God, for healing my heart during a heart attack! On March 26th 2022, just past midnight, I was laying restless in bed, and I had a heart attack. My arms and legs became tingly and numb, then my chest got tighter, and then my heart felt like it was being crushed. So I sang out to God and Jesus, about my pain, my feelings, my faults and my inabilities. As I sang, I began to feel like a river, and a hand was on my back, it's fingers where skimming the surface, separating the waters, causing ripples through my body. Then the hand reached inside my chest, lit my heart on fire, and the heat moved like waves through my body. When I was done singing, all the pain was gone, and I looked at the clock, it was past 1am, I had been singing near an hour. Then the voice of my guardian angel called my name from above, and there was a hymn of energy in the air, the same hymn I hear in my dreams of God. Hallelujah to the Lord my God for healing my heart! Hallelujah for His son Jesus for saving my soul! Hallelujah for every day! Hallelujah for every breath! The Lord is Faithful and true! I sometimes worry that creativity and true expression are lost, especially nowadays when movie theaters rerun films from 20 years ago and every story is based on a sequel mindset. For those who want a detailed reference of the scenes here, please pin this comment: Yes, when Jesus walked on water, he did use the phrase "I am." This account is found in the Gospel of John 6:16-21. When Jesus approached the disciples' boat walking on water, they were frightened. In John 6:20 (NIV), Jesus says: "But he said to them, 'It is I; don’t be afraid.'" The phrase "It is I" is translated from the Greek "ἐγώ εἰμι" (ego eimi), which can also be translated as "I am." This phrase is significant because "I am" (ego eimi) is the same expression used by God in the Old Testament to declare His identity, particularly in Exodus 3:14 when God says to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." John 8:57-59 (NIV) 57 "You are not yet fifty years old," they said to him, "and you have seen Abraham!" 58 "Very truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds. In this statement, Jesus uses the phrase "I am" (ἐγώ εἰμι, ego eimi in Greek), which echoes the name of God revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:14 ("I AM WHO I AM"). This assertion highlights Jesus' eternal existence and divinity, which is why it caused such a strong reaction from his audience. John 18:1-11 (NIV): 1 When he had finished praying, Jesus left with his disciples and crossed the Kidron Valley. On the other side there was a garden, and he and his disciples went into it. 2 Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples. 3 So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons. 4 Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?” 5 “Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.) 6 When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground. In this, "ἐγώ εἰμι" (ego eimi) is indeed used without an explicit "he," making it a powerful statement that echoes God's self-identification. In John 18:3, it mentions a "detachment of soldiers" (in Greek, the term "σπεῖρα" or "speira" is used). A "speira" typically refers to a Roman cohort, which could consist of up to 600 soldiers. Matthew 26:63-64 (NIV) 63 The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God." 64 "You have said so," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." 65 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, "He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy. 66 What do you think?" "He is worthy of death," they answered. In Matthew 26:64, Jesus' reference to "the Son of Man" coming on the clouds of heaven and sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One alludes to signiicant Old Testament prophecy: Daniel 7:13-14 and Psalm 110:1 This passage is a key reference for the coming of Jesus'. It describes the old testament prophecy a vision of "one like a son of man" who is given authority, glory, and sovereign power by God. Daniel 7:13-14 (NIV) 13 "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed." Psalm 110:1 references the trinitarian nature of God and Jesus' identity Psalm 110:1 "The Lord says to my lord: 'Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.'" This verse speaks of the Lord (God) inviting the Messiah (David's Lord) to sit at His right hand, a position of power and authority. Jesus refers to this verse in a discussion with the Pharisees to explain His divine nature. The account is found in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Here’s the passage from Matthew: Matthew 22:41-46 (NIV) 41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 "What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?" "The son of David," they replied. 43 He said to them, "How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says, 44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet."’ 45 If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?" 46 No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions. In this passage, Jesus challenges the Pharisees' understanding of the Messiah solely as a descendant of David. By quoting Psalm 110:1, Jesus points out that David refers to the Messiah as "my Lord," indicating that the Messiah is greater than David and has a divine status. By referring to the Messiah as "Lord," Jesus points to His divine authority and pre-existence, just as He did when He said, "Before Abraham was, I AM" (John 8:58). Jesus' Human Lineage: As a descendant of David, Jesus fulfills the Old Testament prophecies regarding the Messiah's lineage. He is both a descendant of David through the genealogies of Joseph (Matthew 1:1-16) and Mary (Luke 3:23-38) and the Son of God through His conception by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-35) and the virgin birth. The virgin birth fulfills the prophecy in Isaiah 7:14, which is quoted in Matthew 1:23: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel." This prophecy links Jesus to the Old Testament promises of the Savior. His divine conception underscores His eternal, divine nature, as the Word became flesh (John 1:14). "Immanuel" is derived from the Hebrew words "Immanu" (with us) and "El" (God), meaning "God with us." This name emphasizes God's presence among His people and is one of the titles attributed to Jesus. The name "Jesus" (Yeshua in Hebrew) means "The Lord saves" or "The Lord is salvation." This name was given to Him by the angel Gabriel to Mary (Matthew 1:21) and ties to His role as the Savior of the world.

You don't say
I've read that story a few times and the correlation didn't occur to me until I saw this video! Truly amazing how everything, every element in the Bible connects back to Jesus.
What then would you say when you realise, that on that mountain Abraham was speaking to second Person of the Holy Trinity who they sometimes refered to THE angel of God, or word of God. The same entity that spoke to Moses from the burning bush.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Why was that place haunted?

@@zanir2387 Mt. Hermon, the tallest mountain in the area is considered to be where Lucifer and his demons landed when they were cast out of heaven. Many of the era considered it to also be, at the time, the current "highway" for demons to enter the earth.
The crown in the bush and on the ram, talk about goosebumps.
Someone had a theory once that maybe the reason we don't see many ghosts these days is because they were way more common before Christ died and resurrected to save most and forgive most who already died.
The voice actor for Yeshua in this production did such an amazing job. Just wow. Thank you for this, and all the work that went into it. God bless!
Kinda interesting choice of anime-like style in that video, but that ram in the bush image is burnt in my mind forever.
Notice how the thorns trapped the lambs horns, and the thorns on Jesus head? This is also written in the old and new testament. It's amazing that there is no coincidence in the Bible. None at all.
@@davideskerlot2945 Is there a verse of the ram in the thorn bush? I can't find it if so...
@psalm_23.4 the ram was caught in the thorns to replace Isaac when Abraham was going to sacrifice him to God

The ram is a symbol for Jesus Christ, as Abraham sacrificed a burnt ram from the thicket for God instead of his own son, Isaac. Surely Jesus was sent to the fiery pits of hell when He died on that cross.

So true
Eh, kinda. When we in Greek say that, it is indeed "Fear not, it is I", for example in current Greek it is; Μην φοβάστε, εγώ είμαι.

for healing my heart during a heart attack!
On March 26th 2022,
just past midnight,
I was laying restless in bed,
and I had a heart attack.
My arms and legs became tingly and numb,
then my chest got tighter,
and then my heart felt like it was being crushed.
So I sang out to God and Jesus,
about my pain, my feelings,
my faults and my inabilities.
As I sang, I began to feel like a river,
and a hand was on my back,
it's fingers where skimming the surface,
separating the waters,
causing ripples through my body.
Then the hand reached inside my chest,
lit my heart on fire,
and the heat moved like waves through my body.
When I was done singing,
all the pain was gone,
and I looked at the clock,
it was past 1am,
I had been singing near an hour.
Then the voice of my guardian angel called my name from above,
and there was a hymn of energy in the air,
the same hymn I hear in my dreams of God.
Hallelujah to the Lord my God for healing my heart!
Hallelujah for His son Jesus for saving my soul!
Hallelujah for every day!
Hallelujah for every breath!
The Lord is Faithful and true!
May the Lord Bless your hearts,
so that you have the will and strength to turn from selfish sins,
and flee from the slaveries of the flesh!

For those who want a detailed reference of the scenes here, please pin this comment:
Yes, when Jesus walked on water, he did use the phrase "I am." This account is found in the Gospel of John 6:16-21. When Jesus approached the disciples' boat walking on water, they were frightened. In John 6:20 (NIV), Jesus says:
"But he said to them, 'It is I; don’t be afraid.'"
The phrase "It is I" is translated from the Greek "ἐγώ εἰμι" (ego eimi), which can also be translated as "I am." This phrase is significant because "I am" (ego eimi) is the same expression used by God in the Old Testament to declare His identity, particularly in Exodus 3:14 when God says to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM."
John 8:57-59 (NIV)
57 "You are not yet fifty years old," they said to him, "and you have seen Abraham!"
58 "Very truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"
59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.
John 18:1-11 (NIV):
1 When he had finished praying, Jesus left with his disciples and crossed the Kidron Valley.
4 Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?”
5 “Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied.
“I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.)
6 When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.
Matthew 26:63-64 (NIV)
63 The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God."
64 "You have said so," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."
65 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, "He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy.
66 What do you think?" "He is worthy of death," they answered.
In Matthew 26:64, Jesus' reference to "the Son of Man" coming on the clouds of heaven and sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One alludes to signiicant Old Testament prophecy:
Daniel 7:13-14 and Psalm 110:1
This passage is a key reference for the coming of Jesus'. It describes the old testament prophecy a vision of "one like a son of man" who is given authority, glory, and sovereign power by God.
Daniel 7:13-14 (NIV)
13 "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.
14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed."
Psalm 110:1 references the trinitarian nature of God and Jesus' identity
Psalm 110:1
"The Lord says to my lord: 'Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.'"
This verse speaks of the Lord (God) inviting the Messiah (David's Lord) to sit at His right hand, a position of power and authority.
Jesus refers to this verse in a discussion with the Pharisees to explain His divine nature. The account is found in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Here’s the passage from Matthew:
Matthew 22:41-46 (NIV)
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
42 "What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?"
"The son of David," they replied.
43 He said to them, "How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says,
44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet."’
45 If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?"
46 No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.
Truly Amazing 🤩 Thank you for your time to write all that here 😊 Remarkable. All glory to our King, Savior and Master Jesus! ❤
