  • This is a follow up to my last video, you can see the physical install of the 3 Bar MAP sensor here: • Lowbuck LS Turbo Truck...
This video shows the software side of it, installing the 3 Bar Enhanced OS in HP Tuners, which is required to be able to use the 3 Bar MAP sensor with the stock 0411 ECU on my 2000 Chev Silverado with the 5.3L.
I also show how to look up and enter the Offset and Linear factors for the 3 Bar MAP Sensor.
Once again here is the link to the Sloppy Mechanics Wiki referenced in the video: sites.google.c...
A big thanks to Matt Happel at Sloppy Mechanics for sharing all that great information.

dont forget to change your boost enrichment tables as well. Otherwise its going to try to run stoich as soon as it sees boost. Not what you want brother. Good video though. 👍

Thanks Bad Luck Garage, always good to hear from you more experienced guys. I’ll check the boost enrichment tables. I’ve gotta admit I’ve been worried after seeing the issues you had with your turbo C10 and seeing you go in a different direction other than turbo. I really hope I can make this work. Thanks for watching and commenting though, nice to hear from some of you guys with bigger UA-cam channels, thanks again.

Lol, my channels nowhere near big brother. I’m just trying to help out where I can. Turbos are definitely high maintenance but don’t let my build discourage. Just remember mine popped because of fuel slosh/starvation. Take your time and tune it a couple PSI at a time till you get to the boost level you want. Looking forward to seeing the results brother. 👍🏻

Have you run into any issues with running negative values in your offset table for the OS you’re running? Primarily in high vacuum conditions? The resolution on the 3 bar table only goes to 15kpa. I’m having issues in those areas with erratic injector pulse width, no matter what I do with my AFR or timing or injector pulse values. I’m trying to figure out how get it sorted out and I’m thinking it has to do with the map offset values

    Hello, my car AUDI Q5 2.0T STAGE 3 Turbo K04 X HYBRID
I had a problem with the pile above 1.5 bar, after some accuracy I was recommended to replace the map sensor to 3 bar, I installed it but it turns out that a calibration is needed, can you fix it?

Whenever I open the OS tab, there nothing there. My question is how exactly did you get these options?
It's having the user defined parameters option required?

The options vary depending on what ECM you are connected to, what kind of vehicle are you working on?
