I interpret the label saying "for type 4 hair" as meaning that it has exceptional moisturizing capability. My 3C hair is incredibly coarse and dry and this leave-in works great for me so far. Much better than the thicker TGIN Curl Food leave-in I had been using.
Ik i use it wrong but I grew out the top And it’s almost at my shoulders. When I put it in my hair while it’s dry, it hardens but it looks so good. When I put it in wet or damp hair, it ends up looking thin and still hardens. So I just put it in my hair dry
I really like As I Am JBCO leave in, LusBrands all in one’s styler and their sea moss gel, IGK class of 93 cream, Redken all soft mega curls… I def could be missing some but I have a highlight on my IG of more that you can see as well! @ashleescurls!
@@indyam2380 I know I'm not Ashlee, but I previously used a Shea moisture product(specifically their famous curl cream). At first I loved their curl cream, then I finished it(after 6+ months) and bought another tub. This is where the issues started, coincidentally after their formula changed(and I think their company was sold too? Not entirely sure on this). The product was still thick and dense, but it felt and looked different. If I put some on my hands and rubbed it together then you'd be able to see different particles and stuff in the product that just wouldn't mix no matter how much I tried. It also somehow felt and looks really drying(while on my palms). The results was it was extremely drying once put on my hair(immediately. As soon as it touched my strands all the slip that was once on it was GONE and this made it difficult to style my hair with the denman brush even after spraying it with water repeatedly), it was hard to style as my hair felt dry and somehow more brittle(compared to when there's no product on it), and some of the product left flakes on my hair after drying. My hair was also more frizzy after using it. Oh and it didn't spread as easily all throughout my hair. For reference, I mainly have 3b-3c hair with majority being 3b and my strands above my ears being 3c. A handful of my top curls are 3a

I had the same issue with the curl enhancing smoothie but I just assumed my hair's needs had changed because I first used while transitioning, then after I was all natural. Do you have any recommendations? I used to use shea moisture's intense hydration shampoo and it worked marvellously on me but now I can't find it anywhere and nothing else compares
I have been using this for years and loved it til now. My scalp has been itching like crazy when I use this product now. It seems the ingredients have changed for the worst. Won’t buy this again.

Me too! Mielle has the best leave in’s I’ve ever used, especially this pomegranate and honey one! Not switching back lol.

Yes so you rinse conditioner but leave in you put in but don’t rinse
