Hey Tami!! It’s your girl from London ❤️ Just wanted to give you a quick update - I shaved my hair ahhh! Literally watching your videos really gave me the confidence to do it and it’s the best decision I’ve made. Currently using the Doo gro mix and I use the Mielle oil on my edges. Bought the 1.5mm micro needle so will be trialing that out and will purchase the full Mielle line too. Thank you for your amazing content - you’re so informative. You’ve gained a follower for life!! Looking forward to your next video x
Your hair looks good ! I'm gonna get that Meille Shampoo and Conditioner . My hair loves her products but I haven't tried this one yet. But I love the Rosemary oil by Meille its works great on my hair.
The leave in is what stood out to me in the line so see if you can get your hands on that. If your hair loved the rosemary oil then this line is made for you!
Good morning my love! Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season! I was just thinking about you a few mins ago, and then was surprised to get the post notification for this video. I have to say, you hair's getting so long, thick and beautiful! You really can see the difference in your edges since you began using the microneedling process!!! I'm proud of you for being so consistent with your regime. You are seeing results because of it. We're ALL seeing your results because of it!!!😁😁😁 Now is where I give you the Auntie Tennille wisdom lol. I began using auyervedic oils as the way I put my toes into the pool of making my own DIYs. My original DIY was a hair growth oil that I still use the same recipe for today. I think you probably used too many herbs and not enough oil, and that's why it smells so strong. I had to learn that too. You think more is better, but it's moreso about the length of time you let it infuse over the amount of herbs you're using. Also a warning about chebe powder: DO NOT USE IT IN ANYTHING THAT IS APPLIED TO THE SCALP!!! Chebe is for the strands of the hair. It prevents breakage and will irritante your scalp woth prolonged use. I learned that the hard way, too. But I also did some research and found out it's meant exclusively for the hair strands. The women in Chad whonuse it don't apply it to their scalp, either. If you still have some left, use it as a hot oil treatment on wash day since you'll be washing it out after 30 mins or so. That way you're not wasting any ingredients, but you're not harming your scalp, either. For every 8 oz of oil I'm infusing, I use about 1 teaspoon of each of the auyervedic herbs. So for this, use about 1 teaspoon of fenugreek, amla and rosemary powders for about an 8 oz bottle of oil. I let mine infuse for weeks, sometimes months at a time. I strain the oils and then add new herbs and oil to begin the next batch the same day so I'll always have some on hand. The length of infusion depends on how fast I use it up and need to refill the bottle. I know everyone doesn't have the time or patience to infuse that long, but for me the longer the better. I can use less because it's more potent and the next batch can infuse longer as well.
Happy New Year Aunty Tennille!!! I always look forward to your replies! You hit the nail on the head 😭 I used 8oz of Jojoba oil with ONE TABLESPOON EACH of amla, chebe, and fenugreek & rosemary. I don’t have a sensitive nose but the smell was nauseating. I’ll try to dilute it more but I think either the amla or chebe might be too strong. I’ve heard about not using chebe on the scalp but I want to use it someway. EVERY TIME I search up natural hair herbs/powders it’s top of the list. I purchased shea butter and I want to make a hair butter and I might infuse that with the chebe. The butter will be for my hair only when I do the baggy method so it won’t touch my scalp. Im trying to get my LCO method going & slowly ween off the doogro. L is rosemary water C is the shea butter / mielle leave in O was going to Ayervedic oil but as of right now my “O” is still my doogro mix. Thank you for all your input and help. You’ve given me better advice than any UA-cam video. I learned the natural community has a lot of clickbait and ppl using a product once for a video and claiming it’ll ‘grow your hair to waist length’🙄 appreciate you Ms Tennille
@@tamithecreator I'm glad to help! I had to learn a lot on my own but I don't want everyone to have to spend that amount of time and money to figure it out. It's very disheartening to see videos where someone only uses something because it's a sponsored video and they make all these claims about it, but in reality the product works just like the other hundreds of products already out there. You hardly ever get an honest video about sponsored products because they are required to say certain things to get paid, so I rarely trust them. And it's gotten old for creators to try every new line that comes out. It's all really the same with different colors on the bottle lol. The "main ingredients" are so far down the list, it's really just a ploy that gets you in the stores spending money on a hair brand you probably already have, and the new line is just like I said before: the same things with a new color on the bottles because the sea moss, for example, is so far down the ingredients list, it's not enough to actually make a true difference. Chebe hair butter is amazing! I've used it to grow my hair out the last few years. So you should definitely try it. Mango butter is really good for low porosity hair, too. It's not quite as heavy as shea butter, but still gives you that extra umph from a butter that can't be matched! Your LCO sounds good. Try to start a batch of oil asap and when you need it, it'll be really potent. Also, I always add either peppermint or lavender, sometimes both, essential oil to my finished oils to help with the smell. I've never had any complaints about it when I've made them for others when I add about 20 drops for my 16 oz of oil. I do bigger batches because I make them for myself and my immediate family. So for 8 oz., 10 drops of each would be fine. But use however much you want to help with the smell. 🥰🥰🥰
The Mielle hair oil is difficult to fine now. They sold the company to someone else. It is being reported on a major news net work that the products are being pitched to White folks (women) who find that the scalp oil was working for them. The oil is now difficult to locate, maybe the entire product line. I think they are intentionally trying to Increase the demand for the product. With the increase in demand, comes an increase in the price point. So I am not surprise that you say the products are expensive and difficult to locate. I only hope they don't change the formula. I use the shampoo and the hair mask. And I am content with the product line.
Dang we can’t have nothing to ourselves anymore. Everytime a company is sold their prices go up and the quality goes down. It’s sad, this was actually a REALLY good line
It made my hair & a lot of other hair fall out some couldn’t put their finger on it but mines was instantly with them I will never use their products again especially the green line
Mielle didn't destroy Tami's hair! Guess the girl with the "relaxed" hair just had no business using the Mirlle product that she claimed matted her hair!
You are doing an amazing job with your hair yes mini braids are good you can add extensions on ends to give desired length I have seen videos on it as well can you list where you got those baggy from?
