Great video for a new TicWatch prefer like me. Shame Google have stopped providing assistant for this version of Wear OS..... But don't expect anything different from Google.
Agree, but the end result is that promised updates for Mobvoi watches have still not happened. Great hardware though.

A couple of issues of my Ticwatch Pro Ultra GPS:
- Even if GPS positioning is correct, Tic exercise app shows a wrong altitude during activity, around 1000 meters more than the correct altitude... How could I fix that?
- Heart rate sometimes is totally wrong, e.g. rate value switches from 60 to 120 bpm and the back to 60 while I'm seated...

sorry, I don't have definitive fix but I do know that mobvoi had some issues with the GPS that was addressed with software update, so make sure you are running latest version. If the mobvoi apps are not giving accurate readings you can try using Google fit or another third party app. its also possible it is a defective device, maybe contact mobvoi and see if they can help.

Interesting to see what the stress feature looks like - it's never worked for me. Not sure the fatigue measures either - it never changes, yet I know I feel differently through the day and week.
Sometimes I check it when I know I'm stressed and the watch doesn't pick it up. But that happens with my other watches as well. Not sure why it's not more reliable. Maybe I'm not as self aware as I think?

You adjust it and then you just slide it on and off. It loosens every once in awhile but easy to tighten. Very comfortable.

The feature you describe at the 1:00 mark about double clicking to make extra bright is great!! Do you happen to know if a similar feature is available on the TicWatch Pro 5? If there is, i can't seem to figure it out. a nudge in the right direction would be great. thanks
I was waiting and waiting for the Pro 5 to come out but was so disappointed with the lack of software updates for other Mobvoi watches that I did not buy it. So sorry, I can not check what happened with that feature. But there is a sale on the TicWatch pro 5 now, and I can't usually restrain myself on a good deal. If I do get it, I will of course do a full review and try to find where they put that great feature. Thanks for watching!!

Great video, thanks. Couple of questions if you will:
1- Can you schedule the DND like on the Amazfit GTR4? My friend schedules his for night/sleep time and it comes back on automatically (at the set time) when he gets up for work.
2- Is that the only low-power face available?
3- I heard there's a TWP5 (skipped 4) coming soon, have you heard anything about it?
4- I missed if you mentioned the ability to set the amount of Timothy main (colored) screen stays on before going to the "standby" one. Can it be done?
Yes, you can schedule DND, it is in settings, personalization, then click the DND mode and you can pick the times. You can also have DND automatically activate if watch is off wrist and you can override it for calls from favorites and event reminders, etc.
If you mean the essential mode for the low powered watch face, yes there is only one choice and nothing is customizable on it. but that can also be scheduled, and turned on and off.
I did hear that a Ticwatch 5 is coming, but I who knows? I also heard that Ticwatch pro 3 was getting updated to Wear OS 3 like a year ago, but that still has not happened...
Yes the screen time out can be modified, 5, 10, or 15 sec. sometimes 3rd party watch faces have different times.

Great video👍🏻. Do you k ow how to put mp3 on it?. After google stopped the google music app. I can't find any new ways to do it.
I believe that you can only do it through a streaming service now. It was easy to transfer previously.
Thanks you for video...I listen to podcasts on youtube while working on roofs and want to be able to paise and rewind just for audio.. is that posisble with watch the goal is to listen without pulling out phine and being able to paise or rewind etc
You can pause but can't rewind on UA-cam. For me it just went to previous episode. I could do it on other apps though. On pandora, stitcher and iheart radio I picked a few podcasts and it worked perfectly. Just quickly tap back button, it rewinds a few seconds with each tap. So see if you can find your podcasts on those apps. Hope that helps!

What’s the weather app your using in this watch. Like the display of it
"Top 100 is absolute BS". I like this one a lot and it has been accurate for me. You have to download the facer app on your phone and watch, and register...All the watch faces are listed in the description, if you see another one you like. Hope that helps!

Can u search the web on this watch? To do simple searches?
I tried to download Chrome but the play store actually recommended the Samsung browser which I tried. It works on galaxy watch 5. I could not get it to work on ticwatch though. But if you are looking for local restaurants, news or sports, the Google assistant can pull that stuff up. But i could not find a browser that would work.
My Ticwatch pro 3 ultra stopped working after around 20 months. No UK service centres for out of warranty repairs.
Sorry to hear that. These watches should last longer than that.
IS the Ticwatch pro 3 smartwatch is a better choice than the Samsung galaxy watch 4
I currently have the watch 3 and 5 and ticwatch pro 3. I dont have the watch 4 but I think watch 4 and 5 are pretty similar. I have been using the watch 5 (since its new...) and there are a few more features, like Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). The watch 4, 5 and ticwatch all use wear OS now (although watch 4 and 5 have newer versions with a Samsung skin on top) so the software experience is similar. Personally I went back to the ticwatch because the watch 5 basically needed daily charging. The ticwatch last 2 and more likely 3 days. It also has the 2nd always on screen which is great. Watch 4 is having more sales but I think TicWatch still wins the value category. Right now on Mobvoi.com it is $150. If I was shopping now that would probably be my choice. Unless you wanted a physical bezel, then you have to get the watch 4 classic. thats just my 2 cents, hope that helped.
I have an iPhone and want to use Apple Music. Can I have Apple Music on the watch?
I do not have it paired with an iPhone but I do not believe that apple music works with the watch.

You can find the watch face in the video in the Facer app (app available in Google Play Store or apple store). You download this app to phone and watch. In the app, go to explore. The watch face name is "Top 100 is absolute BS", but the search function is limited in the Facer app. So search for the maker which is "LR21" then scroll through those faces. Let me know if you like any other watch faces from "LR21"

I wanted to wake up the backlight when clicking on the screen and wake up the main screen when pressing the button. No option to do that.
In essential mode, only way to turn on back light is lift watch or press button. But you can set that on timer, which is great feature.

Neither of these apps have a native mobile app you can download onto watch but you can get notifications from them if app is on your phone and notifications are turned on.

just brought a tickwatch 3 pro anyone now how to stop it freezing and becoming unresponsive happens once or twice a day.
That sounds defective, are you able to return it?
@@techgadgets100 that was gonna be my next step if no one knew how to fix it.
@@techgadgets100 it tends to happen if I change more then 5 watch faces in say 30 mins then the screen stops responding and you have to turn the watch off and on again to make it work.
One of the watch faces may be crashing the watch.
@@techgadgets100 I asked the shop I brought it from CeX and they said it is because am changing the watch face on the watch and I should be using wear os on a phone

Will NEVER buy anything from this shitty Chinese company again. No updates. No wear OS 3. Strava no longer works. Still can't make calls and send messages with Google Assistant. My Tic Watch Pro 3 is garbage. Going back to Samsung when the Watch 6 comes out
I am also really disappointed that Mobvoi has not released the Wear OS 3 update for their ticwatch pro 3 watches. This was promised several times and it keeps getting delayed. This is especially frustrating for people who bought the watch believing that it would be updated soon or eventually... I feel that companies have an obligation to update the software on their devices, at least for a couple of years and preferably 4 or 5 years- or as long as the hardware can support it. Can't argue with you about Samsung, they have really improved their dedication to keeping older devices up to date. and updating devices promptly.
@@techgadgets100I bought it 2 days ago, with great anticipation and joy. however, the GPS does not find a signal at all (even outside, I tried a lot), the official tutorial says that I have to turn on the GPS on the phone as well (then it is unnecessary to write on the watch that it is GPS-capable). The pedometer also counts if I travel by motorbike. My cheap phone can distinguish this from walking. Maybe I'll take it back to the store tomorrow..

Sorry about your experience. The Ticwatch was great when it was initially released but unfortunately Mobvoi has not delivered needed software updates. I think this is a concern with Mobvoi products. We will see how well the TicWatch pro 5 gets updated.

I hope they get better with software updates also, I love the watch hardware, but they need to stand behind their product. there is a chance they are listening to their customers are will change 🙏
