Love that you used your friends and not pictures of actors or models. It gives us real people a since that we are not the only ones...lol. Keep these type of videos coming, I am learning so much for my body shape/ type. I am petite, less then 104 pounds, and 4 foot 10 inches, short waisted, so no real waist line. To dress my body is a little challenging but now I can see how to do it and see it on real woman, it helps. Thanks so much, ❤️🇨🇦.
You are so welcome, Bernadine! It is so difficult to organize a video with different women. I'm so grateful for this AMAZING group of ladies for agreeing to help me out on this one! Stay tuned...we have one more coming! xo
I've always loved Levi's and am starting to go back to them as I look for non-skinny cuts, but the last few years the holy grail for me is Good American. I am a hourglass... or inverted triangle if I flux between a few extra lbs. They have great stretch and a high waist. They are super comfortable and flattering. I have friends of all body types that love these. When they go on sale at Nordstrom I stock up!
Loved your comments on V-necks flattering for all. When I worked in retail, so many women were resistant to them bc felt they needed to cover up their aging skin. 😔 So much better to "open up face"! ❤
Great video! Really enjoy seeing real life examples. I am a “near hourglass” and NYDJ jeans are my go to for non designer price range, Frame if on sale.
Many thanks to your friends for their participation! I'm 5 feet tall and an hourglass shape with rectangle tendencies. My current favorite jean is a Gap high-rise flare (just go to Gap and search high rise flare). However, I did have to hem them. I also do really well with Talbots jeans - they usually have a high rise and I can purchase petite jeans which don't require hemming.
I am a petite, short-waisted rectangle and I love Kut from the Cloth mid-rise flair jeans. They don't cut into my waist and I think they balance me out nicely.
I'm 5'5" in my 50's, slim, (very thin all my life until menopause!) but now an apple shape (thanks menopause). To hide my tummy I wear high waisted dark blue, fitted flared jeans which accentuate my slim legs making me look taller. With shape wear underneath, the high waist of the jeans smooth out bumps and definitely make my legs look like they go on forever. I have paler flared jeans and trousers as well as palazzo pants/wide leg tencel trousers. I love to wear these with v neck shirts and T's and fitted denim jackets, with jewelry in my V to keep the eyes up and away from my belly! Also espadrilles - love Castañer! - go well with my outfits including gorgeous maxi wrap dresses (navy polka dot!) As a teenager in the 70's I adored flares and never really left them behind.
I'm am hourglass shape at just below 6 ft tall. I recently learned from watching Erin's video on jeans that I should be wearing long sized jeans. I have always liked the universal thread. It's not expensive. Just comfortable, simple and sleek in the skinny jean as well as more shapely in the boot cut style. That's me! Thanks for the guidance, Erin!
I loved this video! Please thank your wonderful models for us! I'm so happy they did this wonderful video to help us gals out. As to me, I'm a petite (5'2") curvy, large bust, hourglass shape. Bc I walk so much, my legs are in incredible shape, but my upper body needs A LOT of work. I tend to wear darker, form fitted tops. If they aren't form fitted, I look heavier. My favorite jeans are AG cropped jeans. They are the perfect length for my short frame, and they highlight my shapely legs. ❤❤
What a lovely group of friends you've got, Erin. I love this format! It shows you that we all have our little issues, no matter what body shape ;) Thanks for sharing and hopefully we will see more of this in the future. Sending the sun over from England xo
Your friends are all lovely and very stylish themselves, thank you for having them in your videos. In the UK, surprisingly Marks & Spencer are making a great variety of jeans in different lengths and colours, current and very reasonably priced. My hips are quite wide and they make my bottom look great because of the position of the pockets. Gap are also very flattering but they no longer do my size (24 waist) in the UK, they seem to start from 27 now which is crazy. If you find a great pair of jeans, buy 2, even 3 pairs!
Inverted Triangle here and I’m so happy that wider leg, mom and straight leg jeans are in right now definitely a million times more flattering than skinny jeans! I would also recommend a less billowy top to show off the waist.
So glad you are loving the more relaxed looks. The shirt is a personal preference. I also like a bit more of a fitted top on myself however the beauty of this video is that the ladies were true to themselves and their own personal style! xo
I now know I’m an hourglass shape- due to the measurement video- I have loved Levi’s for years, classic styles also include new style trends, quality cotton construction, affordable ( 200 + is just not affordable with my teacher wages, thank you for the “for less” options ). I’ve tried many others but Levi’s (and Gap) just work every time. Stretch in jeans loses its effect and fit too soon, being active in a classroom, I need jeans to stay in place. What a fun interview style post, thank you to your lovely and brave friends for participating!
I am happy to add a comment on my favorite jeans. I am a rectangle body shape and my height is 5'3". My favorite jeans are Buckle b Blacks. Straight leg. The waist is a bit higher so there is no muffin top and Great stretch Without being baggy. I love love love them!
I’m petite at 4’11”. I’m a pear with thick legs so skinny jeans are a no go. I’ve found that flare, boot cut or wide legged jeans work best. My favorites are Levi’s, 7 for all mankind and rag & bone. All high waisted versions. I’ve also have had good luck with express high waisted jeans.
Thanks for the suggestions ! I will try out flare and bootcut ....I’m a triangle shape too but I find wide leg jeans add more volume to my already generous thighs 😊
I’m a triangle shape too 🙋♀️ and the flares are the most flattering on me, mine are from Express. The key to make flares work is they have to be fitted in the knee area. (Btw Erin love your white flare jeans) for skinny I like the Levi’s 311. And sorry, but wearing non- stretch jeans is terrible advice for triangles. I’ve never been able to wear one 😅
I just bought from Sophia Vigara (Walmart) her high rise, 5 button fly, flare white jeans. They look perfect on me. I wore them last night to a restaurant and the young hostess complimented me on my jeans. I had on white strappy heels and a black tee shirt with slightly puffed shoulder detail. I really hate having to button the fly, but these jeans look amazing on me. I have a pair of white jeans from Nordstrom that I purchased last year and they don't flatter my figure as much as these do. I really don't like buying jeans on line, but I got pretty lucky with these. They make my legs look super long. I wasn't sure what a Walmart jean would be like, but I am so glad I purchased them. I think I am a petite hour glass, at least I was when I was young, I may be something else now at 66 years old. Thanks Erin and thank you ladies for putting yourselves out there for us.
Hi Erin, thanks for another great video! I'm an hourglass and I'm thrilled to see 100% cotton come back in. I'm a sucker for the old tapered 501 leg shape, even though I haven't worn them for a few years now. What I'd like to ask you is if you could possibly do a video on dressing up and dressing down the classic jeans? Now that we have our shapes, I'd love to know how you recommend working non-stretchy jeans into looks that have been popular for a few years. I think 100% cotton is your best friend if you're over 40. Thanks, Erin.
Thank you to all the lovely ladies! I am currently in love with Express jeans, I love the fact that they make the same jeans in different lengths, amazing!!!
Rectangle inverted triangle combo here. Skinny, high-waist jeans with an exposed button fly are very flattering. Frame, Madewell, and White House Black Market jeans are best.
I love this kind of video where you dress/talk about other people and different body types! The childbearing years really threw me for a loop when it comes to fit and this kind of videos help and give me some ideas!
I love that you brought “The Crew” back, great job ladies. I’m going to go and watch your body-shape video so I can figure this out. I’m losing weight so I go for affordable options on jeans right now. JCP-A.N.A. Wide leg & Walmart Sofia Vagara Flare High Waist. These are my go-to brands right now. Thank you ♥️
I was pleasantly surprised by Walmart's NOBO mid-rise flair cut jeans for $9.99! I could not believe how inexpensive they were for the cut and quality. The fabric is really soft and stretchy, it holds you in yet has enough stiffness to look quality. They fit my body type perfectly, and whilst they may not last for years and years, for less than $10 you can't go wrong! And hey, congrats on your continued weight loss, creating a healthier you! 🌸
Thank you ladies for this! So appreciated. You are all so lovely! So I’ve been on a jean hunt lately. I am petite (5’2”), longer legs (27 inch) , shorter torso with a 32 dd bust, size 26 or a 2. And I hate anything squeezing me at my waist! Anyone else hate that? I am technically an hourglass but on the less hippy side so kind of between rectangle and hourglass. Midrise 8.75-9.25 rise fits me like a high rise because I have a slightly shorter torso). I like to dress to not accentuate my hourglass part of my shape because I feel it makes me look less lean. I love that I am not very hippy because I am a bit more busty. So the jeans I’ve found that I like the most so far are AG skinny jeans. I also got the looser fit slim boyfriend that are good but i look better in a slimmer fit jean. I found that to be comfortable I need to size up so the waist is loose in the skinny and the AG skinny does not sag even when sized up a size. I like a frame as well, but I think AG skinnies make the butt look a bit better.
Thank you! SO glad you enjoyed! I'm a big fan of the AG jeans. I have a few pairs of the Farrah skinnys and have shared them on the channel over the years. xo
I usually size up one too because I end up with...intestinal distress🤦🏼♀️if I wear anything too tight around the waist. Thank you for your recommendations!
Great video, Erin. It's so helpful to see real life examples of all the body types. I'm a triangle and feel better in high rise, boot cut jeans. Love my Levis or NYDJ.
Hi to a beautiful fellow rectangle! Thanks so much for sharing this great video. It really helped me understand the jeans that are best for me. Unlike you though I really don’t like crop jeans as my height is one thing I have going for me and I always feel it makes me look about 5 inches shorter to have cropped jeans. That’s just my thoughts though and as you said everyone has different features they want to highlight! Blessings to you and congratulations on your fabulous success! You truly deserve it!!🎄🐇🎂💝🎉💝🎄🐇🎂🎉
Thank you SO much! Glad you enjoyed this one! Cropped jeans are certainly not for everyone and as you know if they are too cropped they won't be flattering no matter your height! xo
Hi Erin! Love it when you have the ladies on! It's so great to see their personal style, and how well their clothes suit their figure type. Brava, girls, you are an inspiration to us all. Thanks Erin for another cheery, informative video.🌸
I really appreciate the different body types however all of these ladies have slim legs. I would love to see jeans styled for women with heavier thighs. Hint. Hint. 😁
I would love that too, however finding any women that were willing to put themselves out there in a video like this was a huge challenge especially in my small town. We hope to find more models in the future. Maybe you can come to Telluride as a volunteer?
All of these ladies look so effortless and beautiful. I'm a 5'6" rectangle with a long waist. I love a baby bell, boot cut and even flare. I love my Laurie Felt and WHBM jeans. I just got a pair of KUT boyfriend jeans but they fit more like a straight leg on me. I struggle with anything ankle length because if feels like high waters to me.
Fantastic video! Enjoyed seeing real life challenges with clothing and style for every body type on real woman...it gives a better perspective! Very thoughtful and insightful! Thanks everyone❣️ Game changer!
Mine is a Levi's high rise with minimal stretch (sucks 'em all in 😄), not so skinny, it fits on my waist down to my knees but is straight cut downwards. Amazing rear pocket placement, too. For someone 5' tall, 32" waist and a rectangle shape, that was indeed my holy grail of jeans.
Love these body shape videos! You and your friends have such great style! I’m a 5’9” flat-chested, short-waisted inverted triangle and am loving Agolde 90s denim for a looser fit. Also love COH!
I've recently discovered "curvy fit" jeans. I tried a pair of Joe's jeans on that are high rise, boot cut, and curvy fit. They fit my hourglass shape perfectly! I'm a pretty undeniable hourglass (shoulders 38, waist 28, hips 38). The curvy fit is small at the waist and roomier in the hips and thighs. I have muscular hips and thighs from weight lifting and that makes jeans a real challenge.
I used to be hourglass. I liked wearing mid-rise jeans with either a skinny leg, a boot cut, a kick-flare, or flared almost as big as bell bottoms. Then I went thru menopause. Every 6 months for the last 3 years I've had to get jeans with a larger & larger waist. My body has changed so much with menopause, that I can't be picky about jeans. I just have to get the jeans that fit my waist, which means they're usually too baggy in the butt/thigh/calf area. Since I grow out of my jeans every 6 months, my go-to jeans are whatever crops are on sale at Target or Old Navy (I'm 5' 3").
You may want to try a pair of NYDJ...They have a bit of stretch and are perfect for curvy bodies. I think they may solve your problem. I'll link some here: go.magik.ly/ml/17s8i/
GREAT video, thank you Erin and ladies for sharing🥰👏🏻 I’m a petite rectangle and just bought my first pair of cotton Levi wedgie jeans and love them...takes a bit of getting used to after years of stretch!
Great examples of different jean shapes with these ladies. I think I'm hourglass with inseam of 27 or 26 1/2 inches and somewhat long waisted. My waist looks ok in a med rise but I like the high waisted also, they make my legs look longer. I do have a belly though at my older age, but I have my tricks on that. I don't have a favorite jean brand. I have luck with Paige, flare jeans I've had for a few years. AG skinnies are another.and J. Brand is my favorite med rise (white) jean. I'd like to try cropped jeans if they don't make me look too short. I like hearing from these ladies also and how they style them for their particular shape. Good video. p.s. I forgot Kut from the Kloth jeans are nice too.
I’m a pear 5’4” size 6-8 w proportional torso. Recently bought NYDJ per Erin’s recommendation for thicker thighs/booty & small waist. Loving them! They do have a little stretch but are very slimming, booty lifting & flattering.Thx to the ladies for their input & modeling. Loved hearing their go-to brands for body type. Way to go! 👌
Great video...again. I forgot the ‘do’s and don’ts’...and went to the salon and wore an oversized blouse and straight jeans, no tucking..I’m an inverted triangle. I got home, I looked in the mirror...I looked like a linebacker! Omg! Lessons learned: 1. Follow your style advice , 2. Check the mirror before leaving. Thank you!
I am a petite inverted triangle. I probably look best in skinny jeans but I wear many cuts of jeans depending on the look I'm going for that day - boyfriend jeans, low rise bootcut, or straight leg, too.
Thanks Erin, and to your volunteers! Inverted triangle with a short torso. I love moussy but also have vintage Levi’s and bought a pair of oversized indigo wranglers with a flare when I really OD’d on skinny jeans a couple years ago. I also have skinny ag and madewell black jeans that I wore a million times. Keeping them because I suspect more people will eventually realize that they look awful in huge baggy jeans.
Not for a lack of trying, Evelyn! Our circle shape model fell through at the last minute. It is so difficult to find any women that want to be on camera and put themselves out there in a video like this. I'm just so grateful for the women that did participate. We hope to find more models in the future. Maybe you can come to Telluride as a volunteer? xo
I so appreciate your efforts and these women coming on to help other women! I feel like UA-camrs always get attacked if they don’t show plus size or pants that are $20 or less. This happens in the comments on like 7 channels I follow! I am not a thin person but I love to watch inspirational styling. I also don’t spend $900 on a jacket but I love looking at them and getting ideas. I suggest women follow channels with hosts that are their size (there are loads of plus sized channels) and if you’re looking for bargains all the time I suggest like Mommies Makeup & Moscato they shop WalMart and Target and show $16 and $20 tops. I think it’s unfair to expect fashion forward channels to be all things to all people.
Thank you SO much, Jeannine! You can't please everyone. I just hope that people can take the tips and use the pieces as inspiration as they create their own outfits at home! Thanks for the lovely comment! xo
My body shape is very close to Alyssa’s. And I’m 5’2”. I’d love to see these woman again model their favorite outfits. It would help me choose more wisely.
Hi Erin, I watched this on tv so never thanked u and your friends for doing this video. I am so glad you chose a wider leg. My friends won’t do anything but skinny. I think a lot of times boot cut evens out the figure. My husband only compliments a jean outfit if I have boot cut on. I know two people who are are larger busted than me and have really thin legs. I think a boot cut would suit them. I guess change is hard for a lot of people, . I have tried a lot of jeans. At five two I think the wide crops make me look even shorter. Hugs ..hope your trip continues to be amazing. 😘
I’m very tall and an inverted triangle! Paige jeans are the best ever (I had never heard of them) I found them at a thrift store believe it or not!! I looked them up and they were over $200 a pair! Great for large waist and long legs!! Best fitting jeans ever!!
This video was AWESOME and so needed!! I took so many notes and loved the different body frames. I have an hourglass shape and have the same issues with my long torso, however, don’t have a favorite brand of jeans. I will be checking out the recs! Another hit Erin 💙
I'm petite and a subtle triangle w/a long torso and short legs. I'm still experimenting with different jean cuts, but I LOVE a high waisted dark wash bootcut w/a heel. For everyday, I've been bouncing between (all high waisted) a mom jean, skinnies, and straights. I think once I nail my inseam, I'll be in the clear (I think I'm still an inch short on most of my pants). Since I've got lil tree stumps for legs, I do what I can to make them look longer. I can't afford super nice jeans, but Banana, Express, American Eagle, and Abercrombie seem to be working well for now.
Fantastic video! I am an hourglass with a long torso. High waisted jeans work best, either skinny or flared. Favorite brands are Beija Flor, Good American & Current Elliott. But I just found an amazing pair of high waisted skinny jeans at Walmart (Free Assembly) for under $30!
I'm probably a rectangle and 5'3", but I recently had a small bbl, lipo and breast lift with implants which mimics the hourglass shape a little. I love skinny jeans the most, and wear Sam Edelman, Good American and Levi's -- all high waisted. I'm about 115 lbs and in my early 40s.
Thank you ladies!! I can totally relate to the athletic build rectangle. I have a hard time finding jeans to fit my butt/thighs and also come in enough for a small(ish) waist. My favorite pair right now is one's that have been discontinued, so I won't mention them here. So I'm always looking for the perfect jeans!
Agree! So happy to see someone talk about jeans for athletic legs. I have the same problem with jeans gaping at the waist if they fit my butt and thighs. I’m a rectangle too so the curvy jeans style doesn’t work for me unfortunately even though my thighs are bigger.
I'm a curvy hourglass & petite & I wear so many different styles. I know what looks good & I work hard at wearing only those denims that I like & that look good too. This was a great video seeing your friends as I caught some brands I havent tried before. I also thrift so that adds a whole other demension, but I honestly find very little denim for me. Lots of other stuff that I do not need, but must have however! ♥️💙💚
I am 5'8" with an hourglass figure. 7 for all Mankind jeans are my Jean if choice. I have never spent so much on jeans before in my life but they look good, feel good and are long enough everywhere I need it.
Heads up for rectangles. French brands on average are rectangle friendly (especially high end like chanel). Italian brands heavily lean to hourglass and inverted triangles. ❤❤
Just a thought about the in-seam length: Just like Erin said, every body's different. For skinny ladies, 8-9" is already high-rise but not for others like Helene who is tall or me who's short plus size. So better measure your own inseam (belly button to crotch) so you'll have a reference when u go shopping for your next jeans.
I’m a triangle shape and a little bit bigger (us14/ waist 32-34 depending on brand). Recently discovered G-star Raw, they have awesome styles and are quite inclusive when it comes to sizing. Unfortunately many brands, even the ones mentioned in the video, tend to ignore bigger sizes so finding a brand that has great styles that fit me was very refreshing.
I am triangle shaped and my favourite brands for jeans are Arket and Calvin Klein. I like straight jeans with a billowy top or shirt or blouse tucked out. I also like tunic tops with slim fit jeans. For shorter tops I prefer to wear a long line cardigan as I’m conscious of my butt. 😊
I just received white wide leg frayed hem NYDJ jeans from Nordstrom Rack and absolutely love them. I have such a hard time finding jeans to fit my 5’7” plus size 16 body (booty one size bigger than my waist - plus muscular chubby calves) so I am stoked. I am wearing with my new Stuart Weizman beige slide espadrille sandals so I look taller. Today I have them on with a fitted tank top and short jean jacket. Definitely going to try more jeans by this brand because these were my first.
What a great video! Please do this format with bikinis. I’m 5.2 rectangle shape and Paige and Levis jeans are my favorite at the moment. Also reasonably priced 👌🏼❤️
I agree! That's a great idea a swimsuit video (not necessarily bikinis, but maybe each figure type in a bikini and then a one piece, maybe a coverup) with The Busbee Four, would be fun and fabulous! 🌸
Hi pretty ladies!! Oh how we all want that perfect pair of fitting jeans 👖. I have several that are my go to...I am hourglass 5’5 125lbs. AGolde and Good American work for me. I recently went old school and picked up Levi’s 501 and 505 and I’m loving them ❤️
7 for All Mankind jeans are perfect for ladies with small waists and larger hips and thighs. I searched forever for this type of fit, and this is the only brand that fits me just right.
I'm mostly hourglass, leaning toward pear, size 14 (working on that lol). I just found the most perfect fitting pair of jeans: Hannah. Dark wash, high waisted, perfect pocket placement, and they don't gap at the waist! Def a holy grail jean
Thank you for this very informative video. It helps me understand why some style of jeans work and others don’t. I am a triangle with a short torso. I enjoyed this video with your friends-the visuals are so helpful, Erin.
6’o tall hourglass with longer torso, levis high waist or mid waist jeans, slim fit or straight leg not longer than my ankle. I also love zara jeans, Mustang and Replay. Hi from south Europe🙂. Truly, only jean guide we need😍
I'd love to, however finding models that are willing to put themselves out there in a video like this is difficult to impossible. Maybe you can come to Telluride as a volunteer? xo

Interesting video! Could you kindly let us know how tall each lady is for reference? Thanks and God bless 😘
I have a cool video suggestion for you.
Love that you used your friends and not pictures of actors or models. It gives us real people a since that we are not the only ones...lol.
Keep these type of videos coming, I am learning so much for my body shape/ type.

Thank you, ladies, for being so brave and showing real challenges and vulnerabilities. Appreciate you all
Thank you SO much, Litza! xo
I'm a curvy hourglass and feel that I look best in dark wash or black high waisted bootcut or straight leg floor length jeans with stretch.
Thanks for sharing! xo
So am I. Do you have a favoirte designer you could share?
@@peggyfisher9743 I wish. I'm always on the hunt for these lol
@@peggyfisher9743 try American Eagle mom jeans in long
Paige denim jeans...stretchy, dark washes and nice bootcut!
I've always loved Levi's and am starting to go back to them as I look for non-skinny cuts, but the last few years the holy grail for me is Good American. I will have to try those!
Levi's are my favs too!
Loved your comments on V-necks flattering for all. When I worked in retail, so many women were resistant to them bc felt they needed to cover up their aging skin. 😔 So much better to "open up face"! ❤
Totally agree, Kristen! xo
Great video! Really enjoy seeing real life examples. I am a “near hourglass” and NYDJ jeans are my go to for non designer price range, Frame if on sale.
I am an technically an hourglass but a bit rectangle. I also love AG jeans (as well as frame). They do go on sale sometime also.
Thank you, Teresa! Great choice! xo
You're SO welcome, Mary! Thanks for sharing! xo
I am a petite, short-waisted rectangle and I love Kut from the Cloth mid-rise flair jeans. They don't cut into my waist and I think they balance me out nicely.
Love that, Meredith! Kut from the Cloth has some great styles! xo
A special thanks to all the Ladies to come back and be in another video. Very relatable information ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it! xo
- go well with my outfits including gorgeous maxi wrap dresses (navy polka dot!)
As a teenager in the 70's I adored flares and never really left them behind.
You got it...perfect styling for the concerns that you mentioned! I love an espadrille as well! xo
You're SO welcome! Glad you found a brand that works for you! xo
Everyone did a wonderful job. They’re naturally talented! Plus having you as a warm and friendly guide helps too. Totally love this series!
They really did! Thank you, Anne!
I'm so glad you loved this one, Stacy! I certainly will! Thanks for sharing some of your favorites! xo
Levis, I have always been a fan of Levis. I actually still have two pair that I wore in HS from 1978 :)
That's awesome! Love that! xo
I find a lot of vintage Levi’s at Goodwill. Love it!
What a lovely group of friends you've got, Erin. I love this format! It shows you that we all have our little issues, no matter what body shape ;) Thanks for sharing and hopefully we will see more of this in the future. Sending the sun over from England xo
Thank you SO much! xo
Thanks, Erin! As a petite triangle, I like Rag and Bone jeans for their softness and structure. They seem to fit my waist and hips best.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing, Pat! I'm a big Rag and Bone fan as well! xo
Would love to know which rag and bone fit you like.
All are beautiful! Thank y’all for giving us real life models, and for explaining each challenge and how you make jean outfits work for you!
You are so welcome, Emily! xo
I'm SO glad you enjoyed this one, Marisa! Thanks for sharing some of your favorites! xo
I am happy to add a comment on my favorite jeans. I am a rectangle body shape and my height is 5'3". My favorite jeans are Buckle b
Blacks. Straight leg. The waist is a bit higher so there is no muffin top and Great stretch Without being baggy. I love love love them!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing, Amy! xo
I'm a rectangle body shape and I second Buckle Blacks! I specifically like the fit 53. 👖
Thanks so much for sharing some of your favorites, Tracy! xo
SO glad you found some jeans that you love! Thanks for watching! xo
Yay! I'm a huge fan of Express and their jeans! xo
I am a "neat" hourglass and high waisted pants/jeans are amazing!!!😍😍
Rectangle inverted triangle combo here. Skinny, high-waist jeans with an exposed button fly are very flattering. Frame, Madewell, and White House Black Market jeans are best.
Thank you SO much for sharing some of your favorites! xo
I love this kind of video where you dress/talk about other people and different body types! The childbearing years really threw me for a loop when it comes to fit and this kind of videos help and give me some ideas!
I'm so glad you found this one helpful! xo
So good to invite your friends. Appreciate their tips and the way that each of them emphases their assets. They're truly generous.
Marvellous🥰🥰
Thank you SO much, Emma! xo
Thank you ♥️
Thank you! They are AMAZING! Love that you are finding jeans that are working for you in your transition! Keep it up! xo
You're so welcome, Veronica! xo
Cropped jeans are certainly not for everyone and as you know if they are too cropped they won't be flattering no matter your height! xo
Great video!!! Thanks to all of the lovely ladies who modeled and shared so that we can learn!
So glad you loved this one! xo
Hi Erin! Love it when you have the ladies on! It's so great to see their personal style, and how well their clothes suit their figure type. Brava, girls, you are an inspiration to us all. Thanks Erin for another cheery, informative video.🌸
I totally agree...they are all AMAZING! Thank you for your kind words, Laurie! xo
Love this video! All the ladies are beautiful and so brave for doing this!
Thank you so much, Nicole! xo
Erin, thank you so much for this video!! I'm learning so much from you!
Thanks so much for sharing some of your favorites, Deb! xo
Fantastic video! Enjoyed seeing real life challenges with clothing and style for every body type on real woman...it gives a better perspective! Very thoughtful and insightful! Thanks everyone❣️ Game changer!
You are SO sweet! Thank you, Ramona! xo
@@BusbeeStyle ❤️
Mine is a Levi's high rise with minimal stretch (sucks 'em all in 😄), not so skinny, it fits on my waist down to my knees but is straight cut downwards. Amazing rear pocket placement, too. For someone 5' tall, 32" waist and a rectangle shape, that was indeed my holy grail of jeans.
Thanks for sharing, Jennifer! xo
Love these body shape videos! You and your friends have such great style! I’m a 5’9” flat-chested, short-waisted inverted triangle and am loving Agolde 90s denim for a looser fit. Also love COH!
I'm SO glad you loved this, Debbie! xo
Great video, having real women illustrate do’s and don’t s really help, thank you ladies🇨🇦🥰
Thank you SO much, Caroline! I'm grateful for all of their help on this one! xo
You are so welcome, Sheryl! I agree...they are a little hard to adjust to, but the fit is fantastic. Glad you are loving them! xo
I'm glad you enjoyed this one, Jane! Thanks for sharing some of your favorites with us! xo
I am definitely going to give your brands/styles a try, Jane. I think you might be my body double. 😄
Way to go! 👌
YAY! I'm thrilled to hear that you are loving them, Paula! xo
Thank you!
So glad you enjoyed! xo
I am a petite inverted triangle. I probably look best in skinny jeans but I wear many cuts of jeans depending on the look I'm going for that day - boyfriend jeans, low rise bootcut, or straight leg, too.
Thanks Erin and thanks to all the beautiful women in this video! I’m an inverted triangle and NYDJ fit me the best.
You're SO welcome! Thanks for sharing! xo
I'm SO glad, Virginia! Thanks so much for sharing! xo
So I guess there’s no hope for us apples.
Not for a lack of trying, Evelyn! Our circle shape model fell through at the last minute. It is so difficult to find any women that want to be on camera and put themselves out there in a video like this. I'm just so grateful for the women that did participate. We hope to find more models in the future. Maybe you can come to Telluride as a volunteer? xo
@@BusbeeStyle I’m happy to volunteer. Broomfield CO here (shoulders 39”, bust 38”, waist 38” in front not so much sides, hips 43” mostly butt)
Thanks for the lovely comment! xo
@@BusbeeStyle You’re welcome! Hope to fly to Colorado someday so you can style me! I am a short full hourglass. Challenge upon challenge. 😂
My body shape is very close to Alyssa’s. And I’m 5’2”. I’d love to see these woman again model their favorite outfits. It would help me choose more wisely.
They will be back for one more video which is coming up in a few weeks. Stay tuned! xo
Wow, thanks ladies. Great tips. Appreciate the mention of the specific jean brands that work for your body shape!!! You're saving me!!!!
You're SO welcome, Christine!
Hi Erin,
I watched this on tv so never thanked u and your friends for doing this video. 😘
You're SO welcome, Rita! Glad you enjoyed this one! Go ahead and rock those boot cut jeans even if your friends are still wearing their skinnys. xo
Please !!! do a video of you styling all your lovely friends. To see the most complementary was to style these body types.
We have one more video coming up soon with these ladies! Glad you enjoyed! xo
@@BusbeeStyle yay! absolutely loved it!
I just wanted to say that you look truely breathtaking in this video 😊 that white jeans and blue shirt combo really suits you
You are SO sweet! Thank you, Adrianna! xo
I’m very tall and an inverted triangle!
Paige jeans are the best ever (I had never heard of them)
I found them at a thrift store believe it or not!!
I looked them up and they were over $200 a pair! Great for large waist and long legs!! Best fitting jeans ever!!
Thanks for sharing...Paige are pricey, but they are great! Glad you found them at a discount! xo
I personally love the Style brand jeans at Macys. I love the dark boot cut jeans that come in different inseam lengths.👍🏼
This video was AWESOME and so needed!! I took so many notes and loved the different body frames. I have an hourglass shape and have the same issues with my long torso, however, don’t have a favorite brand of jeans. I will be checking out the recs! Another hit Erin 💙
Yay! I'm SO glad you found this helpful! xo
Thanks for sharing, Mandy! xo
Thank you ladies you are all so beautiful!
You are so welcome xo
Fantastic video! I am an hourglass with a long torso. High waisted jeans work best, either skinny or flared. Favorite brands are Beija Flor, Good American & Current Elliott. But I just found an amazing pair of high waisted skinny jeans at Walmart (Free Assembly) for under $30!
Yay! What a deal, Dawn! Thanks for sharing! xo
You ladies look fab!! I am hourglass 5'3 and wear Citizens for Humanity, Paige and AG.
They really do! Thanks Kathe! xo
The jeans that have been fitting me lately are the Levi’s mid rise slim boyfriend! So comfortable 🥰
Thanks for sharing, Dawn! Levi's has a lot of great options! xo
Do you happen to know the fit number? What's your body shape? Thanks!!
Glad you enjoyed, Donna! Thrifting is such a skill...hopefully you know what to keep your eye out for! xo
I am 5'8" with an hourglass figure. 7 for all Mankind jeans are my Jean if choice. I have never spent so much on jeans before in my life but they look good, feel good and are long enough everywhere I need it.
Love that you found a jean that works well for you, Alison! Thanks for sharing! xo
Thank you Erin!! This video was very helpful!! Your friends did a great job!!
They really did! Thank you! xo
Yay for the models, they are great!
They really are! Thanks, Lorraine! xo
You all look fabulous! Thank you for your tips!
You are so welcome! xo
Love the ladies....so awesome!
Yes they are! So glad you loved this, Heather! xo
Great video Erin! Everyone looks great! Such great help!
Thanks so much, Brigette! xo
Thanks Erin, loved the video ✌
Glad you enjoyed it, Tricia! xo
Thank you SO much for sharing your favorites with us! xo
Thanks for sharing some of your favorites! xo
Gorgeous group!❤️❤️
They really are! Thank you for your kind comment, Nina! xo
Great video...thanks ladles!!!❤
You're SO welcome, Nedra! xo
Love when you show difference body types!
I'm SO glad you enjoyed this onem Teena! xo
Love that! NYDJ are so flattering on curves. Glad you are loving them! xo
Good job Erin. Thank you ladies for the sacrifice 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Our pleasure! Glad you enjoyed! xo
That would be a great idea, but I'm afraid finding any of my friends willing to come on camera in a bikini may be all but impossible! xo
I Love your Outfit Erin, that blue top just Pop😍
Thank you SO much, Paula! xo
White house black market flare jeans. Love them!
Yay! That's great! They have great jeans for petites too! xo
Hi pretty ladies!! Oh how we all want that perfect pair of fitting jeans 👖. I have several that are my go to...I am hourglass 5’5 125lbs. AGolde and Good American work for me. I recently went old school and picked up Levi’s 501 and 505 and I’m loving them ❤️
Yay! I'm SO glad! Thanks for sharing, Kimberly! xo
Thanks for sharing! I’m about 5’4-1/2 round up to 5’5” 😊 hourglass around that same weight and may look at those brands.
I second Agolde as a 5’5” hourglass- they are my favorite brand. Will check out Good American and Levi’s - thanks for the suggestions!
7 for All Mankind jeans are perfect for ladies with small waists and larger hips and thighs. I searched forever for this type of fit, and this is the only brand that fits me just right.
Thank you SO much for sharing your favorites with us! xo
I'm mostly hourglass, leaning toward pear, size 14 (working on that lol). I just found the most perfect fitting pair of jeans: Hannah. Dark wash, high waisted, perfect pocket placement, and they don't gap at the waist! Def a holy grail jean
Thanks for sharing, Lisa! xo
Thank you for this very informative video. It helps me understand why some style of jeans work and others don’t. I am a triangle with a short torso.
I enjoyed this video with your friends-the visuals are so helpful, Erin.
Glad it was helpful, Sue! xo
6’o tall hourglass with longer torso, levis high waist or mid waist jeans, slim fit or straight leg not longer than my ankle. I also love zara jeans, Mustang and Replay. Hi from south Europe🙂. Truly, only jean guide we need😍
Love that! Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for sharing! xo
Could you do a similar video using plus-size body types?
I'd love to, however finding models that are willing to put themselves out there in a video like this is difficult to impossible. Maybe you can come to Telluride as a volunteer? xo
nice change of video format! thanks ladies🌺
Glad you liked it!! xo
Hi Erin, always a Pleasure tuning in; Hi friends🤗👋, important Video for us Ladies😊.All thumbs up👍👍
Thank you so much 🤗
As a curvy petite musculsr fit woman aka rectangle shape. I appreciated you including Erin. Tips are very helpful. Thank you ladies and Busbee !! ,😊🌹
