You have done what so many others seem incapable of doing. I wired the OEM fans into my 06 Sierra 6.0 without issues and just had them turned on while getting a performance tune. Just finished installing short tube headers with high flow performance cats and a flowmaster with a turn down. Decided to go ahead and do the electric fans.....but had a feeling it might be different since his is drive by cable 02. I've searched to see if the blue wire simply pinned into the red ecu with the factory harness same as the dbw....but there is nothing but speculation on ideas of how to deal with ac issues. Most everyone only wants to cover the blue/green ecu which is a pin and go set up. Watched a video before yours where the guy at least covered pinning into red 33 and capping the existing wire....but left it at that. No answers to the questions in the comments or addressing a ac update. Yours is the only video that I found dealing with the red/blue and how to rectify the ac update. Thanks massively.
