Rules correction: after reading the mulligan rules I’m fairly certain I should’ve drawn another card after my mulligan added another Connection To the Worldmind to my hand. Apologies for the mistake!

Great vid! Nova is so satisfying to play, with all the readying of him and his helmet, along with drawing an additional card to your hand after drawing Connection to The World Mind. I love event-heavy tempo heroes like Nova and Gamora.

Yep I’m a big Nintendo guy even if I don’t play much anymore. And thanks! I used to be all about playthroughs and I’m happy to be getting back to them! My MG doesn’t come til next Wednesday unfortunately but I’ll definitely be firing it up as soon as I can!
I had never heard of Nova before, but I upgraded the precon since Agression was my favourite aspect. And boy Nova is fun, I blasted through scenario 1 til 4 in GMW before Ronan gave me 4 encounter cards in the first turn (and attacked me 3 times).The deck inspired me to catch up on the comics from Nova, and the story is really nice.
Nice! I don’t know much about Sam, but I was a huge fan of the previous Nova, Richard Rider (Star-Lord’s signature ally). I really need to get to know Sam!
@@GetUpandGame yeah the story revolves around him being the last Nova and him finding out what happened to the rest of the Nova corps. Also some very nice crossover stories.
Do you still feel strongly and still a fan of Nova? I’m thinking of adding his hero pack to my collection. I have Miles Morales Ally and team building exercise. Just to name a few. I like the idea of mixing their cards when designing a champion deck. Love The Power In All Of Us. I’m going to get Sinister Motives in a few weeks
I do and I am! I just did a pubmeeple ranking the other day and he ended up at number 3! I wouldn’t have expected him to rank quite that high but I just kept picking him over almost everyone else so I guess that’s where he lands for me. I just love how his amazing economy and straight forward nature mean you can build any kind of deck for him That’s awesome! SM is definitely one of the best boxes so I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!
@@GetUpandGame The Champion team of heroes has to be top 2 or 3 overall in MC. They’re incredibly strong. Some of the best allies for teamwork/up’s The cousin to them (if you will), Web-Warriors are nuts!
@@jerpanic1 I actually made a video here on the channel about how the Champions were the best team in the game when they were new. All 4 heroes are top tier fun and they have amazing cards. Now I’d probably give it to the Web Warriors as a trait, or maybe X-men, but the Champions are still awesome!
Agreed! I think it’ll happen soon. They seem to be building up the younger heroes with Ms Marvel out there and Ironheart on the way. We’ve also seen Isaiah (Patriot) and Joaquin (Falcon). So surely Sam has to be coming up. Though personally I would prefer Richard Rider to be around at some point as well

What I love about my favorite champs creators is I feel like I’m listening to a close friend. LOTR peeps have that and I’ve met many of them IRL. I’m just starting with champs but thoughtful, smart friends helping guide you is something truly special. That’s what you do. You are providing joy in people’s lives in a dark time. I’m halfway asleep but I stand by my corny statements. Zzzzzzzzzz

I’ve been listening to this kind of stuff for a really long time (much of it LOTR LCG related actually) and I felt the same way. And still do of course, with the people I watch today. There’s something wonderful about the communities that grow up around these games and we really are all friends. You see it in the comments, and you also see it at the conventions and meetups. We all share a love of a thing and that brings us together! Also sorry about waking you up. I purposely waited a few hours to replay just in case 😂
You know I think you’re right. I honestly didn’t know what to do in that moment, but my thinking was the mulligan came after drawing your hand so the hand size had already been checked. But now I’m reading the mulligan rules and it does say to draw back up to your hand size, so I think that means I should’ve. Weird interaction but now I’m thinking the other way. Thank you for pointing that out!
