The two bolts on the disc are there to hold it up into travel mode, take the bolts out, raise it all the way up and put them back in and let it down so the cylinder isn’t holding it up when you’re going down the road or when you’re going to leave it sit for a while. When you are disking with it, either remove the bolts completely, or put them in one of the multiple sets of holes to use as a depth control. Another thing with an offset disc is to go clockwise, so your turning to the right and the desk will cut in more. Looks like it’s in good shape and does a good job.
The way the offsets are set up on the disk it will turn to the left best when turning. If you turn to the right it will cause ruts that will need to be smoothed over.
Aaron would like you to get a big Kubota Diesel tractor with an enclosed cab complete with heat/AC, radio, etc. Use that to pull the disk, drainage pipe cart, and other stuff.
I have a disc like this & it takes a 100 HP tractor to pull it if fully set in the ground. You have an adjustment link at front of disc that will lift or lower the front discs & make it cut deeper and the rear cut less or just the opposite. To cut the brush, I'd set the front lower for the first pass and raise to "level" for later pass to smooth the soil. The off set is a beast.
Just love it when you operate any of your machines wether powered or not just to see what will go wrong and what you break as you are hard on your gear may grease from time to time your small excavator is a classic example keep on breaking stuff I'm your biggest Fan Cheers
Rome Bogg disk were the tool of choice after clearing ground here in west Ky. Pulled with a dozer all the weight you can get on it and slow to give it time to cut up the trash. The dozer will save tractpr tires when running behind the cutter pn the skid steer.
Got yourself a little rough disk jobbie, nice. We don't have many folks running those anymore in the area, at least for regular construction and light clearing. Heavy clearing jobs might find a larger unit but those are getting more difficult to come by as the pieces wear out from being pulled through red brick hard clay and brushy saplings. Anyway, the few I have recently seen and remember from younger days. Was that clearing companies that had these also had them connected to a devoted tractor like a brush armored up Deere 5100 size machine. Brush armor like a large bull bar front bumper pipe. Grill guards and under plate deflectors for the cab and caged in windows. Usually run that tractor in first to what the field looked like before it was cut. What the tractor couldn't push over was later taken out by excavator or dozer. Do the same with a 8' or 10' heavy brushhog then disk it takes care of a lot of field prep clearing for many places.
That disc is going to be a game changer on wet and or sites with a lot surface trash from trees and roots. That tilt/ grade bucket is going to take your finishing on projects to the next level, always nice to options sir, I like it. Thanks for the update, enjoyed the video.
I sold a bunch of those Bush Hog offsets back in the day. The old rule of thumb was 10-12hp per width foot for tractors. That 750M looked to handle it pretty well. I love that tilt bucket. Have a great day Mike.
I have a 14' Big Ox offset disk plow (same design) that we have owned on the farm since I was a kid, 40+ years! Never had to replace a bearing on it yet! The bearing housings are close to needing replacement. One key to bearing life time is do not over grease! Don't use electric grease guns. Pump slow and rotate the gang as you pump. At the first audible grease poping sound or visual grease stop pumping so you dont blow out or invert seals. Using the right grease for the right application is also important.
Now that you have a disc and tilt bucket. Mrs. Dirt perfect said she now wants a raised garden bed with a 1/16 “ fall 20 by 20 and DO NOT damage the roses. Now let’s see how good “ operator my donkey” is 🧐🫣? A tip from an old man farmer using the disc try and make a X pattern across the field corner to corner to start with. This will create a checkerboard with the dirt and give you even more airflow to help dry things out. Good luck on the garden and hi from Texas
The smile on your face when the tilt worked was great Mike. Shows your still having fun while getting the work done. I hope you send a picture of you pulling the disc with your tractor to Farmer Chris I'm sure he was smiling.
See if Farmer Chris has a old chisel plow, move all shanks to rear frame.I done this and works great, when it gets full pull up by brush pile, dump and push back in pile in a reverse motion.
Aaron is going to be proud of you getting all together with no problems and no major leaks. Sure, miss him keeping you straight. Thanks for the video the area starting to look good
Awesome Job Mike that field will be ready for planting this spring by Chris. The tilt Bucket Hydraulics is a very neat set up ,can see where that Bucket will be handy slicking up pond edges and a whole host of other jobs .
I grew up on a farm and in my younger days worked in oilfield and construction. I have seen equipment over greased and completely neglected in both places. If the edges of your desk are not good and sharp it makes a huge difference in what it does. You can take a coarse grinding disc and work from the backside of the deskand put an edge on them. It doesn’t have to be razor sharp but I promise it makes a huge difference.
I love our off set disc. We got a miller 18' 4 bar with 30" notch blades all the way around. Great primary tillage tool for corn ground. It bring a 175hp tractor to its knees in the right conditions. I think that tilt bucket be great addition to your tool collection
I wanted to scream at you when you first hooked the cylinder up, but I'm sure you couldn't hear me! That may have been when it bent. Disc works perfect behind the dozer. A remote hook up on the dozer would be a much better bet than risking multi- thousand dollar tractor tires, at least the first few times over. Congratulations on both purchases. Love the bucket.
DP sometimes bad ideas turn out to be the best and ideas that work out in the end lol and having an DP video on my birthday what an birthday present thanks.
Make, did Arron get called out to his full-time job, I've seen the new guy is he a temp employee i like the toys, interested in how the fields turn out KEEP the videos coming
You mentioned no plan on putting a block behind that vale and mounting to the boom. I would probably recommend that since there's quite a bit of weight hanging off that mounted block with all those fittings and hoses and such and vibrations from running may make fittings crack hanging off there like that.
That offset disc ought to do well, being a Bush Hog brand it’s made well and parts are easy to find. An electric solenoid on the aux would be nice but keeping it simple is smart. As a farmer we may not hit the greasing intervals exactly but we pump it to it when we get around to it lol
Mike, too bad you could not find an electronic valve switch so you can stay seating inside the excavator and switch from tilt to thumb back to tilt again. Convenience might be expensive and not worth it, but sometimes it is! So, are we going to check out medium size tractors at the next auction? Just a thought, but that dozer is doing a nice job!
Neighbor has a Bushhog disk like that one and he pulls it with an 85 HP 4WD tractor. If he is breaking sod he likes to disk right after a rain as he gets better ground penetration.
Nice addition with the tilt bucket Mike. The 210 becoming more versatile with each addition. Offset disc going take some figuring out the best setup for the intended use. Just the test run behind the Case ,it did pretty good
In 1966 dad bought a new 12 ft miller offset disc. On that disc it had 1/ 2 inch wall tubeing. It was heavey. We pulled it with a 1965 4020 diesel. John Deere. 6 inches deep on heavey soil all you wanted. Nebraska tests call that tractor 83 horse power..
Bush Hog brand disc, also had mowers and loaders to fit tractors, they were well made and popular for farmers. That is why most older farmers call it "bush hogging" when out mowing behind their tractors. There is your old farmer history lesson today.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say. A nice mbs overbuilt protection kit might be in order for those valves. They don't put handles on the factory installed unit for a reason.
Mike 😎💡This is when you need some work done by signs out by the road. Like some plumbing companies put out in the front yard of homes they'ved worked on.
Howdy from a snowy, temp @ 21 here in western mass. Looks like a couple of great tools for DPs lineup. Hope you're having a good start to 2024. See you on the next one 🤠
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Very interesting and entertaining. Both tools look to be great additions to your fleet. Especially like how clean the hydraulic lines are with the new bucket, certainly seemed to operate nicely with very little flexing or flopping. Wishing you and your family the best.
We had a Bush Hog offset many years ago. It’s a very well made piece of equipment. From my experience it works much better on dry ground than in wet soil. The rear gang will “ball up” if it’s very wet. Yes, our’s had scrapers too, but it didn’t like wet ground. Like you said, those square beams on top of the disks are solid on that plow. It’s very heavy for its width so will work pretty well for chopping up small debris. It will also do better if you carry some weight on the tires when plowing. That allows the large spring adjuster to help level the front and rear so that it pulls straight and levels. That might not be of much importance for your use though.
Nice to see you’ve added some more equipment to your fleet of accessories.nice. Working by yourself kinda sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do.great video.just keep doing what your doing.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Miss Aaron. Two videos now. Is he coming back? That disc only turns to the left while in the ground. It could use a slab of concrete on top for extra weight. If you take a couple of smaller worn discs and use them to back up the leading disc blades, they will be much less likely to break. Those things do take a lot of abuse but accomplish a lot. Is the 750 and the Hyundai CTL going to acquire DP decals?
We use a 16ft offset on a d5 hystat and never had any issues. Works well after tree clearing guys come through. Once it's chopped up a bit we switch over to tractor. Nice work on cleaning up new farm. 👌
Yessiree that disk is in very nice shape. That is a nice piece of “kit” in that new tilt bucket. Those “AMI” folks got their “stuff” together. Looking good around the new property. Thank you sir.
When i still worked at Justice Excavating thaw out the frozen ground we would spread Lime with a 963 then use a 815 soil compactor to loosen up the frozen ground. Since we didn't have i cultivator or a plow
In freshly cleared ground, we ran a root rake to remove the leftovers on the surface. A plow was are first choice for smaller trees that were cleared. Off set disk for larger trees removed.
Yeah the little john deer lawn tractor with the 12' offset disc harrow. Really funny but it worked, sort of. I think you need MBS with all the hook & unhooks. Dirt will wash the rust off the discs & it will cut in better. Good idea to drag the rippers. They will help clean too.
The disk is going to be a big help with several jobs in the future. I'm thinking it's a great fit for your D4 to pull, and the new bucket is something you did need so you don't have to move extra machines around for a quick ditch just.
Nice tilt bucket. Really like the way they have all the workings in their own little compartment. Good buy on the harrow. Now time for big 4 wheel drive 200hp tractor!! However the dozer does a very respectable job pulling the thing.
The new improved tilt bucket is definitely going to be a plus on job that require dirt sculpting. Good choice in bucket upgrade Mike, that tour episode was really interesting.
Looks like a handy tool, it would have took me a few passes with a motorgrader to make that cut I think, you’re pretty handy with that excavator good work!
You should run the rukus rake on the ditch, that way, it WILL look like a front yard. Not much extra. Treat yourself like your customers. Good advertising.
25 yrs in construction never seen a farm implement on site. I say a farmer is the grease guy
The two bolts on the disc are there to hold it up into travel mode, take the bolts out, raise it all the way up and put them back in and let it down so the cylinder isn’t holding it up when you’re going down the road or when you’re going to leave it sit for a while. Dude what kind of a country boy doesn't have a pocket knife.😂
The way the offsets are set up on the disk it will turn to the left best when turning. If you turn to the right it will cause ruts that will need to be smoothed over.
Years ago, that's what we did when we freshly cleared land. We used a D8 cat With a much Heavier Disk work very well

As a farm kid I am going to say it was on a small farm they do all their own repair work so keeping equipment maintained is important.
We call that plow a double cutter in Texas, I used one to plow from when I was 9 years old, by myself.
Rome Bogg disk were the tool of choice after clearing ground here in west Ky. Pulled with a dozer all the weight you can get on it and slow to give it time to cut up the trash. The dozer will save tractpr tires when running behind the cutter pn the skid steer.
Good morning folks have a great day and enjoy the show!!!
Nice new bucket love the way you plumbed the lines so that it is functional in more ways than one
Ive plowed alot of snow, and bush hogged many acres with the same model JD tractor.I loved it
Got yourself a little rough disk jobbie, nice. We don't have many folks running those anymore in the area, at least for regular construction and light clearing. I chuckle a little each time DP mentions the date. I immediately think of “The History Channel” 😆
Congratulations on 200k Subscribers. 👍🙏

A hydraulic kit on 850B would make a great team. Those little Deere's are such overachievers! So fun to watch a boy with new toys.
The smile on your face when the tilt worked was great Mike. Shows your still having fun while getting the work done. I hope you send a picture of you pulling the disc with your tractor to Farmer Chris I'm sure he was smiling.
.nice video get you a do -all disc ,
perfect for that application keep those videos coming .Bucket fine job out by the road.
I was in this business from graduation to high school until retirement And I had fun everyday Working with equipment Was my amusement park
See if Farmer Chris has a old chisel plow, move all shanks to rear frame.I done this and works great, when it gets full pull up by brush pile, dump and push back in pile in a reverse motion.
This new bucket will be great for tile dry ponds.

Bad azz bucket!!! So much better than the other tilt bucket 👍🏻
Looking forward to you hitting the 200K milestone, great channel
Outstanding as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Awesome Job Mike that field will be ready for planting this spring by Chris. The tilt Bucket Hydraulics is a very neat set up ,can see where that Bucket will be handy slicking up pond edges and a whole host of other jobs .
the rear cam showed just how level and smooth the trailer remained threw it all. Bucket cam is nice. Words is hard.

Great video Mike, thanks for sharing with us. The farm is awesome investment. Have a great day.
congrats on nearly 200k subscribers. Them offset disks are great ecpisally behind were you have taken trees and fences out. Nice looking fella.
A pre-congrats on 200k (almost🎉)
The trick to raise and lower the new to you disk is to temporarily mount a log splitter hydraulics to power the cylinder.
Thank you Mike for another great video keep them coming.
Should have used the Thunder Trailers Lights you installed
Love that tilt bucket!!! Way to go Mike!!!
I love our off set disc. We got a miller 18' 4 bar with 30" notch blades all the way around. Great primary tillage tool for corn ground. It bring a 175hp tractor to its knees in the right conditions. I think that tilt bucket be great addition to your tool collection

I guess we should start calling you farmer Mike .
DP sometimes bad ideas turn out to be the best and ideas that work out in the end lol and having an DP video on my birthday what an birthday present thanks.
Thanks and happy birthday
@@DirtPerfect cheers DP have a great day over there from a cold and snowy UK

I would like to see the property were you guys built that wall and seeded it just like to see the grass around it now
MBTS is going to be so proud of you, doing all that on your own 😂
That offset disc ought to do well, being a Bush Hog brand it’s made well and parts are easy to find. An electric solenoid on the aux would be nice but keeping it simple is smart. As a farmer we may not hit the greasing intervals exactly but we pump it to it when we get around to it lol

Tractors make ruts, crawlers level them.
In could but not worth the money thanks
Nice attachment I am sure you will get on to it quickly now you need Jerry and the dozer
Chris is a smart man...especially if he doesn't know how to weld. Blue Sky's.
Neighbor has a Bushhog disk like that one and he pulls it with an 85 HP 4WD tractor. If he is breaking sod he likes to disk right after a rain as he gets better ground penetration.
You have wanted a tilt bucket for the 210 since you bought it well done sure it’s going to work well 👍👋🇨🇦
I think Lt. Dan needs to be put in the shop and completed!
If you drag a rail way line or a roller behind it you can use an offset to finish and they do a good job
Nice addition with the tilt bucket Mike. The 210 becoming more versatile with each addition. Offset disc going take some figuring out the best setup for the intended use. Just the test run behind the Case ,it did pretty good

WOW Mike!!! That was as good as an amusement park ride!!! Place looks awesome and I thank you for bringing us along on your journey!!!
"Its a bad idea, but lets do it anyway" sounds like a new company slogan. Lol... Great video DP. Im missing MBTS though.
Mike love the new Bucket and like the off set Disc .
The pins aren’t limits. They are safety locks for transport. So all the weight isn’t resting on hydraulics during bouncy travel.
Mike 😎💡This is when you need some work done by signs out by the road. Like some plumbing companies put out in the front yard of homes they'ved worked on.
Did I just spot an unsecured load🙈
Officer Hoover would be proud😊

That's not a crescent wrench, it's a 'polish socket set'.
Working solo!!💪 New bucket game changer for the 210, adding more class to a classic 💪💪 Way to go Mike 🤗🇺🇸
What about using the ditch spoils to fill in the holes left from removing the buildings?? 😊
Stay tuned
Nice to see you’ve added some more equipment to your fleet of accessories.nice. Working by yourself kinda sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do.great video.just keep doing what your doing.😎😎😎👍👍👍

Lots of progress on that abandoned farm. Wow, what the right equipment will do. Looking forward to more videos.
Love the new tilt bucket ..
Nice tilt bucket. Really like the way they have all the workings in their own little compartment. Good buy on the harrow. Now time for big 4 wheel drive 200hp tractor!! However the dozer does a very respectable job pulling the thing.

Down here in north Georgia, we call that crescent wrench an Alabama socket set.
lol
I absolutely love those ole John Deere’s! Used one many years ago several times and you just can’t beat them.
Yeppers. Another cool tool. Tidied things up nicely. Thanks for sharing. Take care and stay safe.
Chris is going to have to order you one of those big blue machines he uses.
