At 10:15 the video states the trunk lid limits putting tall stuff in the back and noted that it probably isn't a big deal because most people do that which is true however, anther thing to note, is that at 9:57 you'll see the whole trunk is removable and the underside that remains is fully finished out for people who want to put taller stuff in it or just prefer it open. So you can have your cake and eat it too if you want to leave it off and go collect firewood or whatever, just another Easter egg feature from CD Moto

Just bought one myself and so far so good. The bumper on front is not factory equipped that is the upgraded one. Also front half and rear window are upgrades now so there not included as it was shown. The upgraded snorkle kit is also a bit of a joke as it does not include the belt air out snorkle. So anything above tire deep is going into belt compartment. Had to plumb my own one up to be safe.

Are your front lower forward A-arm bushing grease zerks on top or bottom? Mine on a '23 are on the bottom and are not greasable with the 8mm skid plate on, and the bottom of an A-arm is a really dumb place to put a grease zerk if you want to get it torn off by a rock or tree.

The rear splash guards are a great idea to keep , as your dad would say "keep the chocolate out "
The suzuki atvs and the polaris atvs and older can am 570s are open at the front wheels so the radiator collects what the tires throw in there .
Also F150s are like that as well .
Cf moto and can am and ram pick ups have splash protection for the rads and thats a big selling feature for me.
Great introduction of the 950 great video
    Thanks for your time

I know a couple people who went the CF Moto route. Specifically the 600 U- Force. Can’t speak to long term reliability but for the price you get a pile of stuff above and beyond every other manufacturer and, in Canada, a 5 year powertrain warranty…. To get a 600cc SxS with 5 year warranty and all the add ons CF Moto equips them with for $13,000 Canadian plus tax that’s a pretty decent deal…. I’m still on the fence and would buy a different brand today but if they hold up I would definitely consider one in the future!

CF Moto is definitely upping their game. I have a friend who drilled small holes on his roof rain channel and ran hoses down the a-pillars so the water drains down rather than having the wind splash the water on the driver and passenger. It works like a charm. Only time will tell if they're durable. I'll wait until I start seeing people with machines that have 5-10,000 km on them with no major problems before I'd consider buying one though.

Honestly comes down to the frame and everything else, if I could fit a proper Kawa, Honda or cam am motor in after for let's say up to.5k for a used it probably wouldn't be a bad purchase, like you said if it can atleast get 10k out of it. The real test will be frame strength, suspension & general durability

I like the zforce 950 sport it's a very nice machine; its big Brother the Zforce Z10 is going to be a game changer for the industry. We all will find that out in 2026. In my opinion I feel that Cfmoto is stepping up and making well put to gather machines . They are built much better than the bigger brands. I owned a 2022 Cfmoto Uforce xl 10000 and I towed my 2008 Ram 1500 up hill and had no problems at all.

  • @jwyoungy

I just purchased a 2024 950 Sport. One thing I'm shocked no one talks about is the Cfmoto Ride app. This thing is genius! Not only does it track every ride you take and give some cool information, it sends you warnings if someone is making it move. And I mean like someone sits in it and you get a warning on your phone. This is a clever anti-theft feature, for free, that no one else as far as I know is doing. My buddies with Can-am's and Polaris's are pretty shocked with how this works and that it comes on the cheap machine and not on theirs.

Glad to see you mention the intake locations. Would love for you to keep that up with ATV's too.
Out east after a heavy rain, a normal puddle spot can be very deep for a week. And knowing where intakes are before dopping your Jing is great pre purchase info.

  • @angelophillips5334

I'm going to bet the design of the rear suspension aims to keep the wheel geometry in check throughout the suspension travel. My pro XP for example, the toe gets thrown way outta whack at full droop. That extra linkage here likey prevents that.

      @justinmochi7323 Рік тому

I think Pete Hager has a video riding a trx450r with 5 link front suspension and he explains a lot of the advantages of it. Mostly better motion ratios, more durable, and so on and so forth. I can't tell if this is similar to that or not

The wheel well protection is something desperately needed on every off-road machine. Nice not to hear the regular CFmoto bashing. Now that they are a contender to the big guns, I guess the bashing days are over. Close minded buyers allow themselves to miss out on these great machines at better prices. Cfmoto has arrived. Live with it! They offer a great lineup of products. Their 2024 motorcycle lineup is leaving the competition lacking! Yes I have a 2022 Cforce 600 touring and love it.

Are the grease zerks on the top of the front lower forward A-arm bushings? On my 2023 the front lower forward bushing zerks are on the bottom and I cannot grease them with the skid plate on and they would be susceptible to damage without the skid plate. I think that's a manufacturing error and hopefully warranty.

That red z950 sport in my profile picture is a 2020 sport. I purchased it new in early July of 2020. It was the very first zforce 950 sold in North America. It currently sits with almost 5700 miles on the odometer. I bought it in the midst of Covid when cfmoto was giving a pandemic promotional 2 year warranty with their new machines in the states. Not one warranty claim ever. Only time I ever had it back at the dealer was for the fuel injection recall which was nothing more than checking to make sure the injection nozzles were seated securely. They were. Everything on the machine is still the original parts including the brake pads, wheel bearings and suspension bushings. Only a belt change at 3700 miles that I opted for and an upgrade to Elka stage 2 shocks this past spring. Its been the most reliable recreational vehicle I've ever owned.....and I'm 59 and have owned machines all the way back to the 70's when I rode Honda Enduro's as a teenager. I've since bought a 23 Uforce 600 utility sxs......and like it as well but will never get rid of the z950. Can't put a price on a dependable machine.

My 2023 does have this problem somewhat, you sometimes have to jerk yourself forward to rock the machine while pulling back on the gear lever (even sometimes on what I would consider level ground). If it's a bit steeper you need someone to push from the outside, this just happened to me. Wish there was an e-brake. Also sometimes when you put it in park it's not really in park, you have to again jerk a bit while pushing forward on the lever and then it fully goes into park.

Cfmoto plays with the fuel path logic in their ECM's from machine to machine. The z950 H.O. models also have the 963cc V twin engine and those boast 90hp. These 950 G2 sports are rated at 85hp. The 963cc V twins that come in the Overland 1000's and Uforce 1000's are rated at 79hp.....as did the 2020 thru 2022 z950 G1 sports.

I have been waiting to buy a 2024 model because I understood that they were bringing back the handbrake. Though It doesn't seem like this '24 model has one. What's up with that? There has been so much backlash on social media about issues with parking it on a hill and leaving it in park damaging transmissions. I thought CFMoto listened to their customers and corrected their blunder.

It looks like the model being reviewed is a ‘23. I got a ‘24 and it has a handbrake. Also, on the ‘24 they changed the black paint job (nebula black) a bit. Looks cleaner in my opinion. Doesn’t have the grey around “zforce” and red paint accents. The springs are still red though which I still like.

i purchased the 950 trail gen 2 and honestly I regret it. These machines have some weird quirks..... headlights cannot be turned off, and its not possible to replace bulbs. the headlight is a one piece assembly and it costs a fortune. Reverse is governed to around 23km/hr and has absolutely no power, so trying to back out of a mudhole is lousy with it. moving from forward to reverse after coming to a stop "clunks" bad when applying throttle initially. I try feather the gas as much as possible after coming to a stop for fear of snapping something with the sound it makes. and I hate the fact that these still use greaseable bushings.... everything new and modern in todays world is a sealed bushing and much more reliable. I let the price tag on the machine beat my gut feeling.
