    • @bibliophilecb
      @bibliophilecb 7 років тому +14

      Megan Jane (not Kayley obviously but) you can't cure damaged ends. You can tame them a bit with moisture and oils, and you can prevent them by keeping your hair healthy, but once you have split ends, snipping them is your best option.

      @offbeatkiki 7 років тому +2

      Without cutting it, the best I've been able to do is a coconut oil hair mask. I just covered my hair in it and let it set for 20 minutes, then rinsed it out w/ shampoo and conditioner normally. i don't use very much shampoo though, as little as possible. when it dried, my hair felt a lot better, my ends were super soft, and my curls were wayy more defined than before... actually, i'm gonna go do another one right now! lol

    I never blow dry my hair because it becomes a frizzy poofy mess so I always braid it and let it air dry in a braid😪 I still haven't found a way to make my hair look good so i always braid it or do an updo, I would really like to keep my hair down but it's so frizzy and voluminous I can't (it's not evan that thick it's just puffy), I have tried hair cream that my hairstylist gave me but it makes my hair so greasy I can't touch it, Please make a video for frizzy hair about how to style it down and how to dry it (maybe with a model that has this type of hair), I love your videos so much! You give the most amazing hair tips and tricks, a video like that would be so helpful for so many frizzy girls out there😊💗

  • @ccap3211
    @ccap3211 7 років тому +3

    Why is it that some people blow dry their hair and it's all nice and smooth and when I blow dry mine it's a frizzy poofy mess? I have really thick wavy hair. It looks better when I air dry it. It's still frizzy even when I use a brush and section off my hair use the dryer directly onto the brush as i brush it through my hair. I use leave in conditioner and biosilk. I always have to end up using a flat iron on it afterwards if I want it smoother. You should do a video on this.

    • @amandanance919
      @amandanance919 7 років тому

      ccap3211 I'm just guessing here, but I would say it might be because when you blow dry your hair, it's blowing your hair all around and fluffing it up essentially. When you let it air dry, your hair ends up the way it's sitting as it's drying.

    I love your videos!! This one really helped answer some questions I didn't realize I had. What is a good serum that won't weigh down my super, fine and spots thin hair. My hair is super healthy, and I keep it trimmed and wash it the least amount of times per week to keep it that way. But many have mentioned a seruim, and I was wondering what you would recommend. I mainly use Aveda products as I have a lot of sensitivities. Thank you so much...

    • @gangstarappa123
      @gangstarappa123 7 років тому +1

      Veronica Rocha I do the same thing. What i always do at night while my hair is wet is make a zig zag part across my scalp so there’s no straight part. Then I ditch braid my hair on the two sides of the zig zag part really tight and sleep with it. The next morning I just flip my hair back to the part i find most flattering and your hair has crazy volume bc it was tightly braided and the roots were going in different directions. If that makes sense..

    Hi Kayley. I'm a dancer and i have my hair up most of the time. I've noticed a lot of damage and breakage because of the hair bands so what would recommend? I have to keep my hair away from my face.

    • @aishaelliott3419
      @aishaelliott3419 7 років тому +1

      DoliCrem hi! I'm a dance teacher and I would suggest using thicker hair ties that are fabric coated. Rubber bands will break and pull out your hair( especially the really tiny ones )try not to use hairspray for times that your aren't performing because it can be drying. I also suggest when making a bun, after twisting, don't tuck the end of the hair into the hair tie. Use bobby pins to secure the bun and then a hair net to get the extra fly sways. Getting trims to get the dead ends and keep them from traveling up. The last thing I would suggest is to never pull out your hair ties but unwind them if that makes sense. Hope that helps!!
